Turning Point on the Little Magothy is a wonderful and private Estate that sleeps 18 comfortably!

Turning Point on the Little Magothy is a hidden gem located just 7 miles from historic Annapolis in the quaint community of Cape St. Claire. New to the HomeAway scene, this home is a waterfront oasis nestled on the Little Magothy River just off the Broadneck Peninsula. This area of Annapolis is a vibrant and historically significant area that offers a wonderful mix of Chesapeake history, arts, culture, dining, and entertainment, making it a unique and lively extension of the city.

Situated just a short drive from the heart of downtown Annapolis, Turning Point on the Little Magothy is a home away from home. Located on almost an acre of land, enter onto the half-moon driveway and into your own private hidden oasis. Enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon tea or a glass of wine in any number of areas on the property upon returning from your daily ventures in Annapolis and surrounding areas. Enjoy the expansive views of the waterfront, take a dip in your own private salt-water pool, play a quick game of basketball, hang out in the beautiful pool house, relax in the all glass sunroom with heated floors or get back to your childhood roots and climb the ladder to the fabulous tree house overlooking the Little Magothy.

Enter into a Zen oasis as you open the front door and take in the serene and calm tones of the decor and the breathtaking view of the water on display. This family friendly home boasts an open floor plan and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, all of which has been completely redesigned and renovated between October of 2023 and February of 2024. Bring your own boat or kayaks to enjoy the waters of the Little Magothy from your own private pier. Note that the owner retains the right to use the slips if slips are available; The pier can fit four boats comfortably, depending on the size of the boats. For planning purposes, MLW is approximately 3 feet. Private fishing and crabbing trips can be arranged with various local charters. This home also includes off street parking for up to ten plus cars, a pickle ball court, a basketball court, a lovely private salt water pool and pool house, a private pier, a tree house…the list goes on and on……

Moreover, guests will enjoy easy access to a vibrant scene with nearby restaurants, taverns, galleries, and numerous music venues. This home is conveniently situated equidistant to historic Annapolis and the Eastern Shore, with its many events and restaurants as well. There is a local and family owned grocery store, hardware store, liquor store, coffee shop, two restaurants and much more less than a mile from the home for any of your immediate and extended needs.

We hope all of our guests enjoy their visit to our home and we encourage you to reach out to our concierge for anything you may need at any time during your stay. Please note that this is a fully compliant and licensed short term rental with Anne Arundel County; We do not allow smoking of any kind in the house; We welcome you to swim and enjoy yourselves but know that there is no lifeguard on duty, so it is a swim at your own risk property- The pool is a black bottom pool that is naturally heated by the sun and open May 15- September 30. Note that there is a sitting area- it is not a hot tub. If you would like the pool to be heated, this is an option for an additional fee- please inquire with the concierge. Owners request that you please do not touch any of the pool equipment. There is absolutely no diving allowed in the pool or off the pier. Please also be aware that this home is in a small neighborhood and noise reflects off the water very loudly, the owners ask that all guests take noise inside beyond 930pm. Up to one dog is permitted, which includes a small fee. Check in time is 2pm, AT THE OWNERS REQUEST, WE REQUIRE THAT ONE GUEST FROM YOUR PARTY BE PRESENT AT THAT TIME TO WALK-THROUGH ALL OF THE MANY PARTS OF THIS PROPERTY WITH CONCIERGE. Our family of 15 had everything they could wish for. With crabbing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, the tree house and pickleball contests... we all had plenty to do for the full week we stayed. The house was spacious and beautiful & the kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed. Thank you so much for the lifetime of memories our family will cherish!

We loved our stay at Turning Point on The Little Magothy! The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, beautiful views, and right on the water. It was such a great spot to relax and spend time together.The house had everything we needed and more. Super comfortable, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful touches that made it easy to settle in and feel at home.Communication with the host was excellent—quick, friendly, and super helpful from start to finish.We had the best time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special getaway!

Our time at Little Magothy was fabulous. We had 3 generations together with 4 grandchildren ranging in age from 2-11. The home was amazing for a group our size. The bunk room was perfect for the young ones. The house is well appointed with everything (and more) we needed. Our favorite things to do included swimming in the pool, a day at the beach at Sandy Point State Park, a scenic boat trip in Annapolis, fishing off the pier, and eating delicious seafood. We hope we can return another time.

Women's Weekend

The property is great for larger groups with plenty of space to do whole group games, but nice little nooks if you need a moment of quiet. The neighborhood is great to walk and jog in and the water was so peaceful. We enjoy the pier and SUP boarding. Great visit.My only heads up is the different levels of the house definitely have different temperatures...lowest level cold/upper level warm.

Amazing property

Really enjoyed my stay at Erin’s place. The space is incredible, really clean and modern. Walls are thick and beds were incredibly comfortable. We really enjoyed all the amenities as well: kayaking in the lake, pickleball and basketball.A few notes: because it is by the lake, there were a lot of bugs when we went. As part of the check-in process, Erin does need to walk you through the house. She lives an hour away so there needs to be some level of coordination there. As a result, the neighbors do help look after the property. Nothing too intrusive but worth noting.

Weekend retreat

Fifteen ladies from my church stayed at this Vrbo for a weekend conference in Annapolis. We enjoyed the property and the house! We had a beautiful weekend and even got on the water, played pickle ball, and enjoyed the views. The house is beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked and the house is comfortable and there is plenty of parking. Since it was November, the heated sunroom floors were a wonderful bonus. Thank you for the memories and a wonderful stay!

Serenely relaxing weekend on the water

Wonderful serene location on a tributary to the Bay. Beautiful water views with its own dock and kayaks. 15 minutes to Annapolis. House is very comfortable, freshly and attractively decorated, and well stocked. Manager was extraordinarily helpful. Nine of us had a perfect relaxing long weekend.

Amazing property!

Our group had an amazing time staying on this property. There are many areas inside the house as well as outside the house where you can gather with family and friends. It was very quick and easy to order Ubers/lyfts to the downtow Annapolis area whenever we needed. The house is also convientely located near a small shaping center less than a mile away. We would highly recommend this property!

Perfect October Weekend

Our annual girls weekend was held at this property. The house was perfect. there were enough beds and Comfortable relaxing places to sit and view the lake relax around the pool Or just sit quietly and read a book. The property manager, Erin Was so helpful through the entire process And I do think the pictures did not do justice to the lovely appointed decor.

A perfect (perfect!) stay for a group of friends

We wanted a girls weekend away, and this house was the perfect place. The beds are all very comfortable, including the pool house and bunk beds. There are about 100 things to do and places to be, so we each were able to do what we wanted to. The pool was fantastic, and some of us were even able to go kayaking. The house itself if extremely well designed, and the decor is very peaceful. I hope we are able to come back som day!

Great property!

We had a great stay at the Turning Point! We had a great time playing Cornhole, pickleball, basketball, cooking on the grill, cooling off in the pool, and watching football on the big screen TV. House was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

One of the best vacation homes we ever stayed at

We stayed at this beautiful property for my 50th birthday Girls trip. We were 15 of us. The house is very spacious, attractive pool and water facing sun room. Some of the rooms have gorgeous views of the water. They have a pickleball court, large family room where we could all hang out together

Weekend Stay

Absolutely loved our stay for the weekend. Erin was a great host and always available for whatever we needed. The yard, the pool, and the basketball court were all major hits for our family! We had 12 family members including a 1 year old, 75 year old, and all ages in between and this house fit us all very comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the pots, pans, utensils, and seasonings you could think of. We will definitely be back!
