For additional sleeping space, a plush sofa bed is available, ensuring that everyone in your group can relax and recharge.

As you step into the cabin, you'll be greeted by the crackling warmth of a wood-burning fireplace, creating the perfect ambiance for cozy evenings. Whether you're unwinding after a day of hiking or simply enjoying a quiet night in, the fireplace adds a touch of rustic charm to your stay. A Smart TV in the living room allows you to have a cozy movie night in with the family.

House Rules:
- The HOA strictly enforces quiet hours between 10 pm-8 am.
- No Parties or Events ($500 fine). 6 guests maximum strictly enforced. If you are looking for a party house, this is not for you. Although we are on a wooded lot, we have neighbors to be considerate of.
- No smoking of any kind anywhere is allowed on the property, including outdoor areas.
- Use of the fire pit is prohibited during the burn ban.
- Due to our API connection and liability, we must have a signed Rental agreement with a copy of your driver's license at the time of booking.
- There is a $500 security hold that will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure if no damage is reported.
- Must sign a rental agreement upon booking
- There are three exterior cameras to monitor the property for liability and ensure all house rules are followed.
- Staircase Retreat is our family cabin, and we ask that you treat it with respect like you would your own home.
- The cabin is not waterfront. Lake Cushman parks are about a 5-minute drive from the cabin (some are further depending on what park you choose to go to, they are all beautifully maintained). Lake Kokanee is about 15 minutes from the cabin and is great for kayaking and fishing.
