Le chalet est un charmant charmeur rustique haut de gamme qui peut facilement accueillir plusieurs familles situées au lac Cushman, WA et niché contre la forêt nationale olympique.

Profitez de longues journées d'été chaudes le long de 22 miles de rivage cristallin immaculé. Profitez de la navigation de plaisance, du jet ski, du wakeboard, des tubes, du kayak, du ski nautique, du canoë, de la natation ou tout simplement des bains de soleil. Après une journée au soleil, revenez au chalet et profitez d'un excellent barbecue avec des cocktails sur la terrasse pittoresque du parc avec son propre ruisseau babillant privé.

Niché dans la forêt nationale olympique, il est parfait pour les amoureux du lac, les randonneurs aventureux, les amoureux de la nature actifs ou assis au coin du feu et lisant un bon livre.

Il y a deux parcs près de la maison. Les deux offrent une rampe de mise à l'eau, un parking, des tables de pique-nique et une crique pour la baignade. Le deuxième parc offre une aire de jeux supplémentaire, bac à sable, volley-ball, fers à cheval, basket-ball, cabane barbecue, salles de bains et une zone de bouée spéciale pour les petits enfants pour nager, patauger et jouer.

Intéressé par la plongée sous-marine, le crabe, les palourdes ou le creusage d'huîtres dans la ville de Hoodsport? C'est dans votre jardin.

La randonnée se fait sur la route avec les célèbres escaliers et les randonnées du mont Elinor à 11 km.

Vous cherchez une escapade hivernale? Profitez de nuits tranquilles à la lueur du feu, d'un bon livre ou d'un grand jeu de société. Les vacances pourraient même apporter un peu de neige.

La maison a été entièrement mise à jour avec de nouveaux appareils électroménagers, une cuisine entièrement équipée, un immense parking hors rue pour plusieurs voitures et bateaux. Parfait pour plusieurs familles, réunions, retraites d'église, jeunes mariés ou escapades d'entreprise.

Lake Getaway

Fun Easter weekend trip with some lucky sunny days. The house is setup great for large groups. Having the game room two rooms and bathroom in basement can create the needed getaway while on a getaway ;) Very clean and easy access to lake, hiking, also fast Wi-Fi according to my teenager. Highly recommended and look forward to a future stay.

Felt like home

It was just a hat we were looking for. The host was friendly and quick to reply. Everything is listed on the contract so no worries. Host does a great job when it comes to preparing you for the stay. Lots of history snd the surroundings were beautiful. Woke up to dear in the yard multiple mornings.

Comfortable, clean, well laid out

We loved staying here, and were sad when it was time to go! The short walk to the boat ramp was nice for going down to the lake shore, the little creek was pleasant to listen to, there was good lighting for board games in the evening, a better than average selection of kitchen tools (as rentals go), comfy couches and beds, plenty of parking. It rained on us a lot but we still got in a little exploring- we drove up the Duckabush Road and hiked to Ranger Hole and Murhut Falls (highly recommended!), visited the High Steel Bridge (super impressive), and drove up toward Staircase (still closed for the season) a ways to see the sights. We recommend stopping in at the little National Forest/National Park visitor center in Hoodsport for maps, brochures, advice on activities, and purchasing recreation passes.

My stay in Hoodsport was nothing short of delightful! The space exudes comfort and attention to detail, making it the perfect retreat. Would Return!

WOW! We loved our short stay at the cabin with lake views. Host let us check in early which was much appreciated. Easy to find and access, although you feel nestled in the lush forest. Plenty of parking for our RV and car + many more if needed. We did think the property was lakefront, however it’s a short walk down the road to the lake entrance ~ no biggie. The shore of the lake was rocky but beautiful and calm with crystal clear waters. The cabin’s kitchen had everything you need to cook and the living/bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed playing pool and scrabble by the downstairs electric fireplace together. The laundry room was an added bonus for us to wash our own clothes amongst our travels too (beautiful separate room w/ detergent, dryer balls and sheets + 2 washers and 2 dryers)! Wed love to return!

Excellent place to spend time with family.

This was a clean, tidy, comfortable place with a pool table, bonfire pit, spacious deck, and super close to the lake and hiking trails. We made coffee and took a nice fresh walk to the lake to drink our coffee every morning. We will definitely be back. There is plenty of room for extended family members as well. Thanks to everyone for a comfortable place to stay.

Very relaxing stay

We really enjoyed the house and property. Had everything we needed. One small issue that was resolved super promptly. Beds were comfy. We took lovely walks to the lake. Played lots of games and enjoyed fires in the fire ring. 3 couples and a child. We all had our own space.

Beautiful!

We stayed here 3 years ago and it was like returning home. The house is great! The neighborhood is beautiful great for walking and jogging. The lake is close. The owners are great communicators. Everything was perfect! We will be back in 3 years:)

Fabulous Place

If you ever need a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting and a skip and a jump away from the most pristine lake in the world, come and stay at Kimberly’s Cabin! We had a memorable ten days there and were so comfortable, loved the new furniture, open space, laundry facilities, outdoor deck and bbq. The Mountain Views are stunning and the hikes in the National Park are wonderful ! We highly recommend this Paradise to ever!

Lake Cushman Retreat

We love this property! Its perfect for a larger group. One lake park in walking distance. Boat launches at both parks. The cabin is a perfect place to come back to after a day at the lake. A large deck with a nearby creek make for a relaxing evening. We love it!

Decent Stay at Cushman

Not our first VRBO at Cushman. You certainly get what you pay for here. It IS rustic, so if that is not your vibe, I would look elsewhere. There is a distinct smell of older home, which as long as you don't mind, it is fine. We did not mind. The basement was great for pool, we played MANY games. The pans were super greasy and need to be cleaned or replaced. The location is perfect. As you can walk to the lake, or use the provided pass. (Saves time driving to another lake spot which is great). The size was MUCH bigger than we thought. Due to an early run in with the next door neighbor, who screamed about our dog getting out (we were unpacking and it was chaos), and then again contacted the host because our kids were acting up retelling the story about the crazy neighbor which put a bit of a damper on the weekend. I'm sure this has been a pain for the host before, as these neighbors had no issues screaming at people for dogs, screaming about fines, when multiple dogs in the neighborhood were off the leash. Usually people are kind at Cushman, so next time we may skip staying in this division just because the neighbor went immediately to nuclear. I feel bad that the host got phone calls, but I'm sure it is not the first!

Wonderful place to play, explore and relax into

We loved the house and location. We loved the lake- went kayaking and even took a dip in the bracing water! The house layout was ideal for needs. I love the seclusion yet close to the staircase trails. I just wish that maybe dogs WERENT permitted in the house as one of the grands seemed to be sensitive to it but he really enjoyed being there too. My favorite part was the little stream so tranquil and pretty. It was fun to see so many deer so close up! Thanks for letting us stay. You seemed to think of everything for your guests- Pam

INCREDIBLE GETAWAY

This property was absolute perfection for our getaway with our friends. The location truly takes you away from the hustle, bustle, and noise, and gives you a slice of heaven that truly allows you to disconnect and recoup. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Awesome place at Lake Cushman

We’ve stayed here twice now and have really enjoyed it. The house is perfect for our family of four and its proximity to the boat launch is convenient. We really love hearing the creek burbling as we enjoy morning coffee on the deck. Kimberly is a great host and very responsive.

My wife rented this cabin for our family for my birthday. It was so fun! Its was super comfortable, everything we wanted to do was so close. We definitely want to come and stay longer next time!

Lake Cushman is a well kept secret. Away from the hustle & bustle of daily life. It offers so many different and diverse activities. From boating to hiking, diving to oyster digging. The picturesque Olympic National Forest as your backdrop. I have been camping in this location since my children were small and decided to invest in a home so I could share the same peaceful beauty, fun experiences and fond memories that I have of this area with other friends, family and guests.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

You can enjoy boating, fishing, skiing, tubing, kayaking, jet skiing, swimming, sunbathing, golfing and tennis. The Olympics offer over 20 hiking trails from the leisurely to the more strenuous. One of the best hikes is Mt. Elinor once you reach the summit you are enchanted with the view of the cascades and Lake Cushman. The town of Hoodsport offers scuba diving, calming, oyster digging, crabbing, several restaurants, shopping and a winery. If you still have any get up and go after a day of sun & fun the Lucky Dog Casino offers a little nightlife.
