Hilo Lagoon Centre is a noteworthy mid-century modern building in downtown Hilo. Our condo unit 814 boasts epic views of the Hilo lagoons, the Pacific ocean, and quaint downtown. We invite you to visit our tastefully decorated two-suite condominium for your vacation or work trip. Unit 814 has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite full bathroom. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, a dresser, walk-in closet, SMART TVs, and bedside tables with lamps. Both bathrooms have a vanity sink, toilet, and a shower (one bedroom has a bathtub/shower combo).
The fully stocked kitchen is in the middle of the unit between the bedrooms, ensuring privacy. Cook locally found foods or reheat your fabulous restaurant leftovers. The kitchen is fully remodeled and has all the small appliances you'll need including a microwave, 12-cup drip coffee maker, toaster and blender. Every floor at the Hilo Lagoon Centre has a convenient laundry room (coin operated machines) for your use during your stay. Enjoy coffee or cocktails sitting on any one of the three balconies in the condo overlooking the lagoons. See if you can spot an infamous Nene goose in the gardens below!

The condo was quite nice! Well stocked, great size, very clean, nice view of the park. Perfect for a short trip for 2 couples. The owners notebook with local places and info was great.

Aloha, this is our second stay at the Hilo Lagoon Centre in 2 different suites, both were amazing. The location is a perfect launch point for everything you want to do on the windward side of the Big Island. The beds are so comfortable, the views are great, the kitchen is spatious and easy to cook in, the layout of the space is perfect for privacy and gatherings. My family and I would highly recommend staying here. Also, the booking agents are incredible. They are so flexible and understanding. I had to change my reservation twice and they did both seamlessly. They also fully refunded the money I put towards the stay without hesitation. We also love Salt Water! Mahalo

If I could rate this condo higher than 5 stars, I would. My wife and I are extremely picky about cleanliness when staying in VRBO’s, hotels, etc. We were very pleased with how clean the condo was. My wife and I spent a week on the Big Island, splitting our time between Hilo and Kona. After staying in this condo, I wish we had spent the entire week in Hilo. We loved the condo, loved Hilo, and have zero complaints. We will definitely stay at this same condo the next time we visit Hawaii.

Great Location
Clean and updated 2/2 condo in central Hilo. Easy drives to Volcanoes National Park, Waimea, waterfalls, and downtown Hilo. Loved walking to coconut island and around the park. Beautiful sunrises can be experienced every morning on one of the three balconies. Mahalo!

Very nice stay. Rooms were nice, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Parking looked a little confusing, however me and my family had a handicap placard which made parking convenient and easy for us. We were able to get to our destinations from this location which was nice. It was nice and quiet at night. The coffee shop right downstairs was amazing.

Perfect home base for our national park visit

We loved the Lagoon setting! Lots of wonderful water activities nearby and walkable to the marketplace as well. Unit is well maintained and elevator access is super convenient. I wish that coffee was provided (there is a coffee maker) but all else was excellent.

Mahalo for your review - we are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Hilo Lagoon Centre 814 :-) There was a time, years back, that we did tried out providing coffee... but it quickly became clear that guests have a wide variety of tastes, preferences, and dietary restrictions. Guests who drink decaf, or tea (in many varieties), made it clear that providing food items is a slippery slope. It taught us that our time is best spent keeping the rentals sparkling clean and well maintained, and that our guests are best suited to shop for the items that they prefer ;-) That said, one of our team does have a fridge-stocking side-hustle, so if guests would like items purchased ahead of their arrival we can make it happen! We hope we get the chance to host you again next time you visit Hilo!

What a great condo to enjoy Hilo! Fresh, beautiful décorations, quiet and near a lot of bars ans restos! Quick note : the office entrance, elevators and corridors need to have an upgraded look.

We had a great stay at this condo. The building is large but we encountered surprisingly few people, and it was very quiet. The view overlooking the lagoon was beautiful. The condo was clean, had plenty of space, and was walking distance to a great burger place. Close driving distance yo groceries and the beach. We would stay here again.

We stayed five nights and enjoyed every minute. The condo was beautiful, updated with class, very clean and the floor plan was perfect for our needs. We appreciated the cleaning tools (Swiffer mop.and vacuum cleaner) so that we could tidy up. Didn't get a chance to lounge on the beach, but appreciated the beach supplies. The location was ideal! So close to everything we wanted to see and places to eat. We were grateful for a dedicated and covered parking spot.We wish we could have stayed longer or better yet could live in this condo!
