Great Place in Playa del Carmen!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: This location is very secure, featuring private parking and 24/7 security. Additionally, everything you need is within walking distance, including a supermarket, shops, restaurants, a pharmacy, the main strip, and the beach.Cons: While these are minor issues, they are important for planning your stay. You will need to bring or purchase your own toiletries, including toilet paper: they will provide with the first round; however, we stayed for 9 days. Additionally, you will need to buy laundry detergent if you plan to wash your towels; supermarket is close by so not a big issue.

Old, Tired and smelly

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented thru Playa Moments for the month of March. We were in D110. The unit is dated and reeks of mildew. The couch is ruined. No cushion at all, so painful to sit in. A 3 bedroom sleeps 10 but seats 3 on the furniture???? Toilet seat doesn't fit the toilet. It was filthy when we arrived. Hair and dirt on the floor. Concierge advised he would send cleaners. He never did. Front bedroom has black mold, and roaches. My brother woke up to a roach in his bed. Saw 4 total in his 2 week stay.There was no face towels, pots n pans were scratched to the point of unusable. No knives or useful cutlery. Concierge advised it was due to theft from tenants. He did go out a week or so later and purchase . No drying rack for clothes in the unit.Playa Moments really needs to make a checklist and deduct from security deposit things that are missing at checkout.Our water jug was 1/8th full on checkin. We were promised a free full one when empty. Concierge was off the next day (didn't tell us) so we ran out of water and had to buy a bottle. We never did see our "free" bottle.Cleaning was included 1x per month??? Once?? The cleaner came for 1 1/2 hrs and spent 10 mins cleaning the kitchen. The floors in the bathrooms still had hair and dirt after cleaners left.I will not stay here again. You cannot get a straight answer from Playa Moments. There are many better options here in town for the same money. (Known from visiting friends @ different units in town)

Very nice place

Very nice stay in this spacious condo. We were 9 with teens and the 3 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were si appreciated. Very well located, 7 min distance walk to the beach. The fifth avenue just next to us. Also a big grocery store (chedraui)at the corner. Only disappointement were the pillows. The concierge Fernando was very helpful and pleasant.

Tired unit

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was filthy when we arrived and we spent two days cleaning it ourselves. So many things were broken, missing, etc. and not all repairs have been carried out. The unit often stinks of urine, and the sofa smells of vomit. Thank goodness for Daniel. He was professional, and responded quite quickly. It was bvious he did his best.

Good location and plenty of space

We stayed at the property for a week. The 8 of us had plenty of space in this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit on the ground floor. The front desk personal were always helpful and friendly. My ONE complaint was about the pool. We were not allowed any drinks (not even water) at, near or (of course) in the pool and it was HOTT... therefor we were forcefully stuck in our airconditioned apartment most of the day! Normally when you a book a place with a hotel, you think that you can at least be allowed to stay hydrated in such humid, warm temperature. Other than that though, a great place close to the beach, downtown and tourist attractions.

Great location, could use some work.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo's location is perfect, near everything you might need. Common areas are nice and well kept. Was checked-in and checked out by the building's staff, had lot of questions regarding the property they had no answers to. Never met the condo's manager. Condo could use some updating, one shower had no hot water. When we arrived we found a dead cockroach in a bedroom and underwear behind the sofa cushions. Basic cleaning supplies were missing, like dish soap and sponge, kitchen rags. Knives were useless to use. Overall I think this place needs some work, might come back but will try with other condos.

Great Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the first time staying at this particular venue and I must say it did not disappoint. Our point of contact, Pascale, was truly helpful and most friendly. The living area and rooms were just as depicted in the photographs and had all basic (necessary) equipment for cooking. Added bonus: great location since it is only approximately a 4 minute walking distance to Quinta Avenida. The pool, again, is just as can be seen in the pictures; at its deepest point it is around 5 feet (this may or may not be a bummer for some guests but it wasn't for me). Great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location is nestled in a wonderful area, close to shopping, transportation, and restaurants. I even took advantage of utilizing the athletic stadium next to this spot. Take the time to wander and enjoy the area. The people are very friendly, and Caty at the front desk is wonderful to work with. Ensure you clearly state your party size and take the time to confirm that number to the owner in a message. When checking in, all party members must be named, and the paper only lists 10 slots. The facilities are clean and well managed. 5th street shopping is only 2 blocks away! I would stay at this location again.

Close to the Action Yet Very Relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great close to everything location in Playa Del Carmen! The Apartment was as described in the ad and the pictures were accurate, the apartment was clean and fresh. For able bodied adults the beautiful beach was no more than a 10 min walk (Victor our concierge provided us with light portable beach chairs and umbrellas available upon our arrival) and lively 5th Ave was about 5 mins. We did have some noisy neighbours on our first night however our concierge Victor took care of it immediately even at 2:00am, his service was appreciated.Would highly recommend Sabbia Condos for families and individuals! Hope to visit again :)Thank you Victor and Staff!

La ubicación sí está muy cerca de la playa y de la quinta está solo a dos cuadras. Lo que más nos agradó fue el trato del personal de Playa Moments, fueron excelentes prestadores del servicio, completamente atentos y serviciales, siempre contestaban al segundo y nos hacían sentir en casa. La pasamos excelente todas mis amigas y yo (éramos 10 mujeres) y el personal de los departamentos fueron muy amables y lindos. Se lo recomiendo a todos!! Fue un gran viaje de relajación y diversión y a muy buen precio. EXCELENTE ESTANCIA!

Stay away!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit looked great on the internet....I have never smelled such horrible mold/ mildew before! It was intolerable. In addition, the beds were like a rock, the toilets had signs saying " no toilet paper" next to them. The housekeeper told us to put the to in the trash can. Window was left open so there were many Mosquitos.My daughter and I flew home early because we were so miserable. Stay away!

Reviewer Comments: The girl in the front desk didn't welcome us at all apparently they don't even know there's a company that rents appartaments in this building and she was not willing to help us.We got strange kind of flea bite in the main bed, we were 2 and we both got this only in this bed.Appart from these 2 things everything was all right, clean and it has what it says. The swimming pool is really nice and the location of the building is good.
