About this space
Over the river and through the woods you will find our house/cabin on a wooded 1 acre lot located in a quiet Lakehead neighborhood. This is a large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom (1400 sq ft) home with boat parking. This is the perfect space for a family or couples looking for a getaway. Our cabin is located just 3 minutes to the shores of Lake Shasta, California (depending on lake levels) and located 1.5 to 3 miles from boat launches (depending on lake levels).

The space
We are one of a few locally owned and operated Airbnb’s in the area. We personally do all of our own maintenance and cleaning to ensure your stay is up to our high standards. Our cabin is fully furnished and we offer all the amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay. The cabin has recently been painted, new carpet, new lighting, and 85% of the furniture is new.

Living room: Open floor plan with sectional sofa, wood burning stove, 60 inch Smart TV, and bunk beds(upper twin/lower full size).

Dining room: Dining room pub style table with seating for 4 (additional barstools at kitchen breakfast bar).

Kitchen: Our kitchen is fully equipped to meet your needs. There is a selection of K-cup coffee pods, tea bags, hot chocolate, olive oil, salt, pepper, and spices.

Master bedroom: California King size sleigh bed, 55 inch Smart TV, full size closet with hangers and luggage rack. Linens provided for the length of your stay.

Master bathroom: Oversized bathtub and separate shower stall. Bubble bath, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels provided.

Guest bedroom: Queen size sleigh bed, chest dresser, full size closet with hangers and luggage rack.

Guest bathroom: Shower/tub combo, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, and towels provided.

Laundry room: Washer and dryer with laundry detergent, and fabric softer. Iron, ironing board, and extra cleaning supplies.

Deck: Propane grill and patio furniture.

Parking: Off street parking only, room for up to 3 vehicles, boat parking available (upon request, inquire with host).

Internet/TV: Wi-Fi provided through AT&T. We provide YouTube TV, which has local affiliates and 85+ channels, we also provide Disney+. YOU WILL NEED YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT LOGIN INFO TO ACCESS OTHER APPS (Netflix & Amazon Prime, etc..).


There are plenty of nearby recreation activities available. You can enjoy your favorite water sports, fishing, or a walk on the lakeshore. Take a day trip to Mount Shasta where you can explore the mountain, play a round of golf, or enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants. Stop in at the Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens or visit the unforgettable Castle Craigs. You can also take a tour of the nearby historic Shasta Caverns. There are numerous waterfalls (30-90 miles away) and hiking trails to explore during your stay. Redding is just 25 miles south, where you can stock up on supplies and do your shopping at big box stores.
