Located on the peaceful Daisy Lane, Retreat #17 is just a short walk from the marina, where you can launch your boat and get one of their many boat slips for an extra fee. With plenty of parking available for your vehicles and water toys, you'll find this home ideally suited for lake lovers. Despite being only 7 minutes from I-5, the home feels worlds away, surrounded by trees, wildlife, and the tranquil sounds of nature. After a day of exploring or boating, return to the comfort of central air conditioning and heating, ensuring the perfect temperature year-round.

Inside, the home comfortably sleeps 12 guests across 3 bedrooms, featuring two California king beds, two queens, plus a queen futon and queen sofa bed. Beautiful view, amazing property!

We loved our stay! It was perfect for our family reunion! ( we rented 3 houses right by each other) This house I particular had lots of space and the game room was perfect for the kids who wanted to stay out of the heat. It was very comfortable. The deck was awesome. Very relaxing . The water was so warm!

Great home for two families with children

With two good size bedrooms downstairs, one with a adjoining bath one with a shared full bath with the downstairs and a large loft that we easily slept for children and probably could’ve slept two more. This is a great home easy walk to the marina.

Beauty paired with old fashioned kindness

Dave and Lori are phenomenal hosts! So warm, welcoming, kind, and accommodating. I stayed in 2 properties, 6 and 17. Both were great but 17 had a Lakeview that created the perfect atmosphere for morning coffee and evening grilling. I HIGHLY recommend Lakeshore Retreats! My family and I will be back!

Great family getaway location

From your first moments after arriving till the last minute you go home your stay is phenomenal. House and Host were very accommodating. Great proximity to the lake for fishing and fun. Thank you to Lori and Dave for the great family fun!

A great Lakehead cabin!

This is a great property for multiple people. It even has a view of the lake, which was enjoyable with a cup of coffee every morning. Not far from the lake, we enjoyed renting a ski boat, jet skis and a pontoon boat. I highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay

The property was very clean, beds were extremely comfortable and the listing was spot on. The owner Mark was wonderful to deal with and everything made for an amazing vacation. The house is right next to the marina and allowed us to dock the boat with ease.

We had a great family reunion here. The house is beautiful and very well furnished.

The kitchen was well supplied and everything was clean and well cared for. The owner was very responsive and stayed in good contact thoughout our stay.

Comfortable home, great location

We had a wonderful week stay in Sugarloaf. This home is well stocked and has a perfect layout for families. We enjoyed our meals on the patio and were frequently visited by deer. Beautiful setting and the marina is close by.

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.

Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.

A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.

In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.

After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 18 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.

Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.

Location, Location, Location. Homes that are close to the water with lakefront or lakeview locations and on private land are extremely rare on Shasta Lake. This home is located on the best street (Daisy Lane) in the highly desired Sugarloaf area of Lakehead off the Sacramento Arm of the Lake. It offers views of the lake through the trees, mountains and wildlife with a short walk to the lake, marina and boat ramp (depending on lake level). You will love this home.
