Reservations are now open for stays starting in September 2024 at Retreat 18, a premier vacation home with some of the best unobstructed views of Shasta Lake. This magnificent 4-bedroom, 3-bath, two-level home is perfect for those seeking a serene escape with breathtaking scenery. Set just up the street from 11 of our other exquisite homes, Retreat 18 offers a unique blend of privacy and community.
The home features two large shaded decks, providing endless views of the lake, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor dining. Whether you prefer a leisurely walk or a short drive, you'll find easy access to the boat ramp, marina, and lake. With ample space to sleep up to 12 guests (maximum of 9 adults), Retreat 18 is perfect for family gatherings or group vacations. Note that our entire collection can accommodate up to 200 guests if you rent all our retreats.
Outdoor amenities include a BBQ, gas firepit, heat lamp, and patio tables, ensuring a delightful experience for dining and socializing. The modern kitchen, air conditioning, heating, and ceiling fans provide all the comforts of home, while a whole-home generator ensures uninterrupted power. For those with boating interests, a boat slip is available at the marina for $55 per night.
Parking is plentiful for trucks and cars, though trailers must be parked in a different location. Additional conveniences such as a washer/dryer add to the ease of your stay. Dog lovers are welcome, with a pet-friendly policy that includes a $95 fee per dog per stay (Sorry no Cats).

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.
Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.
A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.
In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.
After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 18 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.
Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.
