Wow! So happy with our stay! Everything was as expected or better. Description & pictures were spot on. Host was close by, caring, & communicative, but not intrusive in the least. Location was perfect for our trip. In a wonderfully welcoming small town with everything we needed in walking distance. Would definitely recommend this property.

If you look at all the properties in the area this unit is priced right. If you are looking for perfection keep scrolling. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Its a recent remodel of a very old building. It checked all the boxes for me. The manager was very responsive to questions. Good food and coffee within walking distance. Everyone was super friendly. I will stay at this property again.

Better than a bedroom

Really nice, almost like a resort. Sofa to watch the big screen tv from, Roku for channels. Nice soft towels and bed were provided. We were happy to have a toaster and microwave. Lovely decor throughout the rooms. I had poor lighting for doing makeup at the bathroom mirror. The queen size bed slid across the floor when he dove into bed! Lol.

The Town that Time Forgot.... But in a really good way!!

If you're looking for a place that time slows down, natures beauty is everywhere, and people really ARE as genuine as they seem; well then you're in McArthur Ohio!! Now that you're here, I cannot suggest a better place to stay than this apartment! The owners have created a true slice of heaven, as it's well appointed and they make sure that everything you need is there for you. My 2 days here were so relaxing, that when I was leaving, I told the place "I SHALL RETURN" quoting General McArthur hahaha. I whole heartedly give this location my highest rating!!!

Hocking Hills Area Getaway

Well kept, simple upstairs apartment perfect for a couple. This worked well for us for visiting Hocking Hills area over the course of several days. Everywhere we wanted to visit was within 20-30 minutes from this location.

Perfect place to stay when visiting the Hocking HIlls area

My husband and I stayed for 5 days in July and this apartment was perfect for the 2 of us. It was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. We hiked, visited breweries and the distillery and made a trip to Jack Pine Studios, everything being within an hour's drive. The town itself was very quiet with a local grocery store, gas station and ice cream shop. This will be our place to stay the next time we visit.

The apartment was amazing! Phenominal hosts nicki and jeff were GREAT! was a beautiful setup! Couldnt of asked for a better room with a beautiful setup or a better host would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Born and raised within Vinton County, my husband Jeff will tell you that the best part of our area is the community. This area is filled with the friendliest and most down to earth people that Southeastern Ohio has to offer.
We started opening some of our rental properties for others like you to experience this amazing area that we call home.
We also love to travel! Our favorite place to go when we vacation is the western states. We have purchased a mid-bus and renovated it to a camper/rv to travel in. Definitely a labor of love. Maybe you'll see us out while you're traveling. We named the bus Journey.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

In walking distance from the property is our local coffee shop, Smoke N Beans. Spring Street Mocha is our favorite. They also have great lunch ideas, soups and sandwiches. If you are interested in shopping in our area, Weeping Willow is a must to check out. This boutique is located on the ground floor of the apartment unit.
Main Eatery has a large variety of milk shakes as well as amazing lunch dishes.
We have many pizza shops in the area. If you are looking for a more laid-back relaxing dinner option, we suggest Lake Hope Lodge. All dishes are mouth watering!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our property is very unique. We can date the building as far back as 1884. Old pictures show the building with a upper stand out porch and horse and buggies lined along the street tied off to post. You can only imagine the history this building holds as you walk up to the apartments and visit the stores that are located on the first floor. While renovating we tried our best to keep the character intact.
We know with the history that this building was home to many bars over the years and a men's clothing store.
We take pride in the work that has gone into this location to make it what it is today. There still is work to be done and we hope you also enjoy the character that these old buildings bring to historical downtown areas throughout Ohio.
