This is a wonderful family home in Battersea which is perfect for families travelling to London.
There are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with plenty of space for kids or for adults to find a quiet spot to relax in.
It has everything you need for your stay - including all mod cons and supplies so you donât have to worry about packing essentials.
On a quiet residential street you are a 15min walk to Clapham junction station or a short bus ride to battersea power station.
The house is spread over 3 floors plus the ground floor.
There is a long entrance hallway with space for coats and shoes which leads to a downstairs WC and then into the open plan living and piano / play room area.
At the back of the house is the large open plan kitchen and dining room which seats up to 10 people and we do have one high chair as well. There is an oven, microwave and hob and all kitchen cooking equipment you need plus dishwasher. There is also a separate utility room with separate washer / dryer.
Then upstairs to the first floor is a toddler bedroom (smaller beds) with bathroom at the back and the front of the house is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Up to the next floor is the middle bathroom and then the double bedroom at the front of the house. The top floor has the twin bedroom with sofa.
Loved staying in this great house. Everything was great and having beautiful Battersea Park and the river so close was a real blessing and a bonus! The owner was always helpful and available whenever needed.
This is a true gem on VRBO. The perfect home away from home with all of the amenities and comforts needed when you are away. Location is fantastic - and easy to get around on the bus or walking. Would highly recommend!
We stayed at this house for 2 months while getting settled in London. Fantastic house. Lots of space and full kitchen. Host Hannah was fantastic and helped us out on all our questions. Quick walk to Chelsea / bus ride to South Kensington. Blocks from Battersea park which is incredible.
The property was exactly as described, and provided enough space comfortably for myself and two other guests with room to spare. Perfect place for couples or families to stay.
The neighborhood is quiet and just tucked away enough that it provides a respite from all of the activity of central London.
Would recommend!
This was a beautiful family home that accommodated our large extended family. Hannah was wonderful and responsive to all of our questions both before and during our stay. The kitchen and living room were wonderful gathering spaces and the kids loved the piano and the back yard. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great and quiet location in a nice neighborhood in Battersea. Spacious and bright with a comfortable living space and very functional kitchen with room for our group of 5 Women.
Walking distance to great restaurants, bars & Battersea Park, e-bikes readily available as well!
This was our first time in London, we wanted to stay in a neighborhood and get a better feel for what it would be like living here. This was the perfect house for that. The house had plenty of room for our entire family, we loved having a fully stocked kitchen, the living room was comfortable and relaxing. We liked having multiple bathrooms, and plenty of space to spread out. Thereâs a Tesco on the corner, so we were able to get groceries to make meals. We felt like we were living in the area instead of just visiting. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay in Battersea! Our family of 6 + grandparents for part of our stay were very comfortable. Space to play, eat all together and sleeping worked well because my youngest two could go in the toddler kid room. All the kitchen utensils needed. Only complaint was that the carpeted floors were not super clean. Working out on the floor was covered with hair that couldn't have been just mine.
Communication was great and very timely. Check in and out smooth. Easy 5 minute walk to the our favorite bus the 344 took us many places we wanted to go. Two walkable mini markets were all I needed to get by. Wish there were a few more good restaurants walkable but the sourdough pizza down the street was good even if a bit $$.
Would definitely stay here again!
Thank you!
The house is beautifully decorated and fully loaded with amenities. Although a bit of a hike to either Battersea Power Station or Clapham Junction, we used the bus to shorten our trip time. Nice neighborhood with some great restaurants, and a Tesco just down the street to get some snacks and drinks. Great place and would recommend it to anyone.
