Cette propriété unique et contemporaine fait partie d'une ancienne école victorienne, située très près du magnifique parc Battersea. C'est l'endroit idéal pour explorer Chelsea et au-delà et profiter des temps d'arrêt. Avec son mélange saisissant de plafonds et de fenêtres à double hauteur, lui donnant une sensation de style loft, des pièces vintage inhabituelles et des œuvres d'art accrocheuses, les espaces de vie sont confortables, élégants et accueillants. Il est situé dans un endroit discret avec une entrée fermée, il y a un portier à temps plein pendant les heures de clarté. De l'arrière, il y a une magnifique cour. Cette propriété est très bien adaptée à ceux qui ont besoin d'intimité.
Il y a trois chambres doubles, deux avec lits king-size et une double pouvant accueillir six personnes. Deux chambres pour enfants sont disponibles avec des lits superposés (sans mains courantes) pouvant accueillir deux personnes. Les bébés sont les bienvenus aussi, il y a un lit de voyage. Un parking est disponible sur demande. Il y a une console Wii et des jeux.
Battersea est une magnifique région verdoyante. Toutes les joies de Battersea Park sont sur le pas de la porte. Il y a le zoo pour enfants, des courts de tennis, la navigation de plaisance sur le lac, des aires de jeux, Go Ape Tree Top Adventure et Putt in The Park (golf fou) et deux charmants cafés l'un au bord du lac et l'autre à côté du golf fou. Le nouveau développement dynamique de Battersea Power Station propose également des cafés, des restaurants et des magasins. Bien que ce soit un joli quartier verdoyant, il est central, donc les principaux sites touristiques de Londres sont à proximité. Il y a aussi de merveilleux magasins à seulement 10 minutes à pied de la célèbre King's Road et Sloane Square à Chelsea. Knightsbridge et Harrods sont à proximité. Notting Hill est à 15 minutes en taxi.

What a great property for our family celebration. 3 couples & 2 children travelled from Australia and found this property to be most suitable for our needs. Large bedrooms, bathrooms for each couple, huge well appointed kitchen & lounge, 2 laundries, great location, and lots of steps to keep us fit!! Early checkin was fantastic too!

Beautiful property
This is a large and beautiful property, just as the photos depict. There are a lot of stairs, so maybe not great for little ones or elderly but great for teens to have their own spaces. We had a few problems which I suspect were unusual ones, but the manager attended to them promptly. It is close to the bus, but not the train.

Spectacular Property
This house is absolutely gorgeous! Anna was so responsive with my questions. The entire family loved this house and had a fabulous time there. We had one small problem with water pressure in one of the bathrooms, but we staggered usage of showers and had no problems. We 100% would recommend this property! Our grandkids (teens and young adults) were thrilled… there is even a piano (all 5 of them play)!

Family trip to london
This house was amazing and just like advertised! It worked extremely well for our group of 9 aged 18 months-75! There was a lot of space, and plenty of beds. The host was so helpful and very timely with communication.
The two elderly people of the group had a little trouble with all the stairs but they made it! So if you have people in your group that have a hard time walking this may not be the place for you.
All in all the house was amazing, such a nice neighborhood, plenty of public transportation near by and Battersea park was wonderful!

Great stay in London
We stayed here for 4 days just before Christmas. House is large, has everything you need and a great option for larger groups or families. We all had our own space which is great, the kids area is amazing....my kids didn't actually want to leave the playroom!
The kitchen is massive - I would say I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of cupboards and spent quite a lot of time trying to find things. Also a few extra towels would have been helpful as the floor of the kids shower gets quite wet and the shower in the master bedroom didn't have a door at the time (which Anna did inform us of, it was on order).
Overall Anna was great, very helpful. We actually left my son's favourite stuffed animal behind and had to come back 2 days later, she let us look through the house and went out of her way to help, which we very much appreciated.
The area is very nice, lots of pubs and links into central London. About a 30 min walk to Battersea Power Station but a quick Uber. Battersea Park is great if you have kids. Very safe area, overall would highly recommend!

Nice stay in Battersea
We enjoyed our stay and Anna was an excellent host from a communication perspective. She was very easy to get in touch with and quick to respond.
The house is very grand. Every room is large with lots of space to spread out. The kitchen was is a perfect hub for large family meals - we had breakfast each morning before heading out.
I’d suggest this home is not suited for more than 2 couples. The bedroom with a double bed is really only adequate for a single adult or child.
The kids rooms are very cute but far from adults. Our 5 year old ended up sleeping with parents because it was just too isolated from the other rooms.
Plumbing was a bit touchy so not ideal especially for such an updated home.
The location was great being close to power station. Very safe and easy to get around.
The home uses a physical key and not a keypad which was a little annoying to time arrivals.
Overall this place was sufficient and because it was so clean and had a great host I would recommend for the right group size / ages.

Unusual property with minor drawbacks
Pros:-
Anna Pockney, the property manager.
(Prompt useful support and responses)
Good location and neighbourhood, public transportation.
Quiet and safe. Parking space.
Cleanliness of the house.
Basic items in refrigerator.
Division of bedrooms on different floors, more private.
Large comfortable beds.
Cons:- [Many of these items are easily fixed]
# of stairs (38 just to get to the first b/r)
Lack of handrails,(difficult to get suitcases upstairs)
Complexity of using the lighting. 2 dozen lights seem to
need to be replaced. Bathrooms half dark as a result.
No instructions provided for lighting operation.
Lack of dishwasher and washing up liquid.
Incorrect garbage recycling bags.
Refrigerator door does not close correctly.
Microwave operation was a mystery.
The TV and projection system could not be used even after
a 3 generational try. Italian instructions on the remotes.
It would have been nice if there had been a Visitor's book.

In response I’d like to say the lights are very easy to operate. I did explain . No one’s had a problem before . The bathrooms aren’t dark if they are undimmed . Very straight forward. The TV instructions are in English and no one contacted me to say they couldn’t operate . Also there are two other TVs in the house all working well too. One is brand new. A few basic items are left in the kitchen fresh milk, butter , bread and eggs and for cleaning and rubbish but this is a rental and guests are to provide their own. There is a house manual with all the necessary details. The fridge is brand new and the door shuts well. I am confused about this and no one contacted me to say there was a problem .

Large family gathering at unique, architecturally-charming home
We really enjoyed our time at the converted school house in Battersea. Our family - grandparents to toddlers - stayed for a week. The space is magnificent with lots of light. There's a beautiful play room with cozy bunkbeds. It's across from the master bed which was very convenient for us.The property manager Anna was very accommodating (ensuring two cribs for our twins, sharing what grocery delivery options were, providing staples). The arrival was a little bumpy because we were delayed with sick kids. When I input the address into Google Maps and Uber, it took us to a DIFFERENT Victorian schoolhouse a mile away. Anna had to come in person to meet us to let us into the gated enclosure where the house is located. Tip -- use the post code, and not the full address -- and better yet, use the house # across the street from the gates.Anna was very responsive. For ex, we asked for daily housekeeping for an extra charge; when the housekeeper couldn't make it, Anna found someone wonderful ASAP instead.As noted in the reviews, it's a stunning home, great location, but has a lot of quirks. Just be ready for that. For ex, the radiator didn't work where our kids were sleeping so it was very cold. The next day, Anna helped to locate space heaters. Those things were pretty minor. The biggest thing to know is that during nights & weekends, the gated area is locked. You need a physical key to enter and to EXIT the enclosure so it required a lot if coordination among our group.

Large home in Victorian Schoolhouse
This home was in a gorgeous Victorian Schoolhouse. The kitchen & dinning room was a large comfortable space and the bedrooms a good size and had good separation which worked for our family of 6. Beds very comfortable. Heating fantastic. Hot water plentiful.
The property manager was very attentive with a couple of issues we had during the stay, though the Christmas period made it difficult to sort them out.
Having lived in London I am aware of issues with old houses , but felt that there needs to be some more attention paid to the issues within the house given the cost of renting this property. Extremely poor quality & mismatched cutlery, only 6 wine glasses and about 25 water glasses, many chipped plates, broken and absent utensils. The kitchen sink required plunging every day despite the sink traps being used. The Miele dishwasher, we were warned about the heavy door which apparently nothing could be done about. The dishwasher next to it is fine but the 2 doors catch against each other and everything comes flying out. A builder relative looked at dw ,simple fix, secure the Miele dishwasher to the cabinet inside and problem fixed.Some kitchen appliances didn't work/not connected.
The internet was extremely patchy and we had to use our own wifi device,( costing us more for data usage) . Some of the furniture is stained ,dirty and damaged and really should not have been in the property.

Large, beautiful space
My wife and I visited London with our three children (6, 4 and 19 mos) and my wife’s mother. We arrived at Heathrow at 7:30a with everyone jet lagged. Anna was great to work with, getting us into the property a bit early so we could start to recover from the trip. (Anna had even picked up bread, butter and eggs for us.)
The home is in a renovated schoolhouse. The space is brilliantly laid out on multiple floors, with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The kitchen is large and modern and the den has a big, comfy L-shaped sofa, flat panel TV and video projector.
The bedrooms are on the upper floors. Two of them are for adults (with en suite bathrooms), the other three for children (two are very fun/cool loft beds and the third is a comfortable full bed). Our children loved the loft beds and the playroom. A pack and play is available for a slight up-charge. The property is child-proofed, with gates on the stairways. Beautiful contemporary art and photography is hung all through the home.
The location in Battersea is convenient. The neighborhood is relatively recently gentrified and had a family feel as we walked around. While not as outwardly posh as Chelsea and Kensington, it has gotten a reputation as “South Chelsea” and is continuing its upgrade as the Battersea Power Plant renovation project nears completion. There is a small Whole Foods a short Uber ride away. The Latchmere bus stop is a couple blocks from the property and will get you to Central London and Borough Market on the 344 and 44 buses in a snap. We went the other direction one day and caught a train from Clapham Junction to Windsor to tour Windsor Castle and Legoland. Battersea Park is a short walk or jog from the property. We didn’t spend a great deal of time in the park due to rain, but did jog thru early one morning and found it very nice and very safe-feeling.
In summary, we loved this property and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Many thanks to Anna and Shiati for their hospitality!

DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE UNTIL REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE!
In short, the listing is falsely advertised as having 3 bathrooms two with shower/tub combos and two washers & dryers.
The host (as we entered the premises) informed us that we could not use the shower part of the 2 shower/tub combos due to leaking (which even occurred when utilizing them as a bath) when used as she suggested (as a bath) the water leaked PROFUSELY down through the electrical lights to the TV room (enough to fill a whole pot) - the ceiling in this room is noticeably bowing and cracking due to water damage that has occurred for some time.
In addition, she (the host) shared that we couldn’t use the 2nd washer/dryer combos as that part of the home was “off limits”, indicating that it was marked as such (which the entrance indeed had masking take over the door/wall informing guests to “keep out”. The main dryer on the second floor between 2 bedrooms was basically unusable since after trying to dry clothes for more than 2+ hours had to hang dry on a rack.
Lastly, the drainage systems in the house - both in the only available shower as well as the kitchen sinks were in disrepair.
The kitchen sink did have a "garbage disposal" but it did not work as the host informed us upon arrival. We were instructed by the host to use all appropriate strainers in both sides of the sink. We did as she instructed but the sink continued to plug and disgusting amounts of food and grim would come up and stain the sink. Not to mention it would take hours for the water to drain.
The main "shower room" that she told all 6 of us adults to use would flood into the adjoining bathroom if used more than 5 minutes.
Since we had to deal with all of these plumbing and flooding issues we used up many of our bath towels. When asked the Host for additional towels she said she didn't have any more. Also when asked for an additional trash bags for the kitchen (only one was provided for a whole week!), she told us to pop to the shop and purchase more. I have NEVER had to purchase any basic necessities for a VRBO rental prior to this experience.
For the amount of money that we’ve paid for the week which, we shouldn’t have had to deal with these structural home issues, the drains throughout the house being in utterly poor working order/disrepair, and being sold a bill of goods/the property’s false advertising on what amenities are/aren’t available.
Do not rent this house until host and owners confirm these repairs have been made.

The property is not falsely advertised. There are two bathrooms and one shower room. The bathrooms have shower attachments which are suitable for hair washing but not full long showers as I pointed out to the guests on their arrival. The bathrooms are not wet rooms. They are tiled and suitable for baths. The guest flooded the house and didn't report this to me and has caused damage to the ceiling below.
There are two sets of driers and washing machines. If a guest needs to use both sets of course they are welcome. The guest in this instance asked me where the washing facilities were and I responded to where the main laundry area was. Had I known they wanted to do a large amount of washing and required further facilities I would of course have explained to them the location of the extra machines. They never asked.
The drier upstairs the one they are referring to works perfectly, it's a Miele top of the range machine. Perhaps they had it on an ultra low setting ?
The drainage in the kitchen has recently been totally over hauled. (I have proof). I asked the guests not to put food stuff down the sink as they are liable to blocking as with any sink and they obviously shoved a whole lot of food down on purpose, ditto with the shower which is brand new.
On arrival the guest was supplied with 8 sets of towels ie 2 towels per person plus and extra two sets. They didn't explain why they wanted extra (which I now know is because they flooded the house and didn't tell me!)
There were plenty of bags underneath the sink. This guest was looking to try and get a bargain from the moment they arrived.
The house is fabulous and has recently been refurbished to a high standard.

Da Winter ist wäre es angebracht gewesen, die Heizung vor unserer Ankunft zu prüfen und einzuschalten. So musste der Klempner kommen. Bis zum Schluss gingen nicht alle Heizkörper. Die Chaisselongue in einem Zimmer weist grässliche Gebrauchsspuren auf. Die Boxen im Wohnzimmer waren nicht angeschlossen. Haben wir selbst verrichtet, es ging aber nur eine.
Die Gegend Nähe Battersea Park ist gepflegt und schön. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Girls getaway
5 adults rented for a COVID delayed birthday celebration. We enjoyed spending time in the bright kitchen and cooked several meals. Anna was responsive to our questions and allowed early check in and late check out which was extremely helpful in managing travel. Suggestion: have a complete walk through on arrival and get oriented and get instructions in how to operate oven, TV, lighting, showers, etc or consider updating manual. One of our party was oriented but was unable to educate the rest of us so we likely had more questions than normal.

Wonderful and Unique House
Wonderful house, just like the pictures and as others have mentioned lots of stairs. We were a party of 6 adults and had more than enough room but could easily fit 8 adults. Beds comfortable and fabulous bathrooms. I wasn’t planning on cooking at all, but the kitchen is very large and well-supplied. My family loved its uniqueness and so very spacious. Very close to public transportation, which we took daily, and several wonderful pubs in the area. Thank you, Anna, for all your help. We would certainly stay again and would highly recommend it. This was our first vacation abroad as a family and this house made even more special.
