You are met at the charming, thatched-roofed Huatulco airport by a friendly staff member and escorted to a waiting Club van. A short, scenic drive later, you are greeted by name in the reception lobby and welcomed. Your luggage is taken to your private villa by the bellman. The Quinta Real Hotel has been built on a human scale, not intended for the masses, but rather for individual enjoyment. As you walk through the reception lobby, your appreciation for its comfort and relaxing atmosphere is kindled. You enjoy the tasteful furnishings, thoughtful appointments, and friendliness of the staff.
On the cocktail lounge patio, you refresh yourself with a cool beverage, and savor the ocean view. To maximize beach time, luggage storage is available for early arrivals and late departures. Below the lounge, past the golden sand beach, spreads tranquil Tangolunda Bay, accented by craggy rock islands and circling sea gulls.

For breakfast, the beautiful, air-conditioned Quinta Real fine dining restaurant is just steps away. Enjoy your meal outside on the restaurant terrace or have breakfast brought to your villa by room service. Two more swimming pools await at the cuija beach club. While relaxing on the beach a friendly Quinta Real staff member appears to take your order. At the Quinta Real, you can opt for total relaxation or exciting adventure. Recline with a good book poolside, or embark on an excursion to the nearby towns, jungles, mountains or deserted pristine beaches. From the Quinta Real you can walk to an enticing variety of shopping and dining opportunities afforded in Tangolunda . Or enjoy the color, culture, shopping, and dining opportunities of the nearby town so La Crucecita and Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz marina.
Whether your day was spent lounging or exploring, you will enjoy gathering with your family, or newly found friends and guests at Las Cupulas lounge to exchange stories about the day's activities (or inactivities). During daylight with a sparkling ocean before you, or at night under a tropical sky, luxuriating in an airy tropical ambiance of your villa is always rewarding and relaxing. It's especially delightful after an invigorating day of swimming, golfin, boating, fishing, biking, or horseback riding. Sipping a margarita while soaking in your private splash pool is the recommended pre-dinner exercise.
As you bask in the salubrious comfort of your private villa, your concierge makes the evening's dining reservation at the Quinta Real restaurant or one of Huatulco's many other colorful eating establishments. As for the following day's activities, the concierge will happily arrange a tour of Huatulco's nine enchanting bays with their 34 pristine beaches, fishing trips, water sports, jungle explorations, excursions to ancient ruins, or day trips to the culturally rich colonial city of Oaxaca.
Golfers love Huatulco. The scenic Tangolunda Golf Club borders Quinta Real to the east & north. The 6,842 yard course winds its way through a lush mountain valley then dramatically connects to the sea. Every hole rewards participants with magnificent ocean and/or mountain views. Tennis enthusiasts need only walk to the Quinta Real curt to play among tropical splendor.
Deep-sea fishing is superb in the Pacific Ocean. Yellow fin tuna and Dorado (mahi-mahi) are biting from November through March. Summertime is prime for blue marlin and sailfish. Charter fishing boats and expert guides are readily available and can be reserved by your concierge. The lush emerald green mountains of Huatulco are ideal for horseback riding. An afternoon excursion across these mountains to the Copalita River will reward you with breathtaking scenery and views. Huatulco's many sights and attractions also can be enjoyed by ATV, motor scooter, or mountain bike, all available for rental. Any remaining time can be filled by browsing the many boutiques, gift shops, and handicraft markets in Huatulco. Oaxacan craft specialties include all types of woven textiles, black clay pottery, turquoise jewelry, and brightly painted wooden animal figures. The more adventurous may want to take the short flight to Oaxaca to experience firsthand this diverse, colorful & intriguing Mexican city.
Las Bahias de Huatulco (the Huatulco Bays), most often referred to simply as Huatulco (pronounced "wah-tool-ko"), is a beach destination made up of nine bays with 36 beaches. Located on the Pacific coast of the state of Oaxaca, 165 miles from the state capital of Oaxaca City, and 470 miles from Mexico City, this area was chosen in the 1980s by FONATUR (Mexico's National Tourism Fund) for development as a tourist resort area. Huatulco stretches out over 22 miles of coastline between the Coyula and Copalito rivers. It is set within a beautiful natural area with the Sierra Madre mountain chain forming a stunning backdrop to the tourist development.
The lush lowland jungle vegetation is particularly verdant in the rainy season, from June to October. Its biodiversity and pristine landscapes make Huatulco a favorite destination of nature lovers.
Huatulco's development is proceeding under a plan to protect the surrounding environment. Some of the efforts made to make Huatulco a sustainable destination include reducing emissions of greenhouse gases, reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and management of natural resources. A large part of the area of the Huatulco Bays is set aside as ecological reserves and will remain free from development.
In 2005, Huatulco was awarded the Green Globe International Certification as a sustainable tourist area, and in 2010 Huatulco received EarthCheck Gold Certification; it is the first destination in the Americas to achieve this distinction.

Qui vous reçoit ?
Vous ĂȘtes reçu par Josephine Cazares-Adams

My villa is my home away from home. I am an owner, along with 11 other owners. This is our home, which we share among ourselves and our invited guests. This is a million dollar property which is not a part time job to upkeep. We have a property concierge that does that for us! And that concierge will be your concierge as well. I ask you to take care of my villa as if it were your own personal home.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
I have been traveling to Huatulco for over 30 years. It was by pure happenstance that I found it. It was because of frequent flier points with United Airlines and Sheraton Properties that I wound up there for the first time in 1994. Neither of those two companies service Huatulco any longer, so I have outlasted them! Huatulco is a beautiful part of Mexico. The people are very welcoming and genuinely happy, kind people. The views are overwhelmingly natural, from magnificent views of the Sierra Madre mountains to the tropical foliage palm trees & iguanas, to the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
My property is unique because it is housed on a boutique hotel premise called Quinta Real. This boutique hotel has less than 30 rooms. My villa, although it has its own private wading pool, shares the common grounds, infinity pools, restaurants, and beach of this 5 star property. This property is small, personal, and has a superior attention to service. Many of the people who work there have been working there since the property was first built in 1998. This property usually hosts couples, and there are not usually many children there. This property is quiet making it a perfect place to rest and restore.
