Spacious Harlem Brownstone Garden 2-Bedroom Apartment with a large rear yard,
This is a nice 2 Bedroom Garden apartment with hi-ceilings open floor plan and a large rear yard. Each room has its own heating/cooling unit providing optimal comfort. There are hi-end Bloomberg and Viking appliances in the fully equipped kitchen area
Nice apartment very clean and confortable. We had a small issue with a sink clogged but it was rapidly corrected by the owner. We never met with Angela but she answered our request very efficiently. The neighborhood is ok with plenty of good groceries nearby and also subway near the apartment.
This is a cozy well kept downstairs apartment. The walk out patio is a bonus that you don't usually find in the city. We loved the location because you could walk to all our favorites, Sylvia's, Red Rooster and the Apollo. Subway stops are convenient to downtown. Apartment is well equipped with anything that you could need. We did something as with all properties, and the manager was there within the hour. We will definitely stay here again.
I was accommodated with an early check-in for work. I would suggest fixing the back door to make it feel more secure. Great location for commuting around the city.
We stayed about a week and the location could not be beat. It is only about two blocks from the Red line, shops and lots of restaurants, too. The kitchen had just just enough for us to prepare a few simple meals ourselves then hang out on the big comfy couch. We did bring some of our own blankets and pillows--there were no extras. Nothing fancy, but overall nice and relaxing.
AMAZING space! Was so excited to find a place with so much space and a fully outfitted kitchen! (Most places I stay have a decent kitchen, but no dishes or tools to actually USE the kitchen!) with so many things being so convenient, we were able to sleep lat, attend ALLLL the theatre, an then come back and make ourselves full delicious meals! Also, when there were concerns about the unit, they were PROMPTLY addressed and fixed! I highly recommend this property, but only when *I* donât need it!
Cons .. i am aware they dont have control of the outside but coming in late nite and seeing a huge rat running on the side walk was an epic fail for me .. also it was unfortunate where the towels were placed ( in one of the bedrooms) i didnt locate the towels until i was exiting and ending my stay . The ceiling in the smaller bedroom needs to be addressed ( possible previous leak) and finally maybe instructions on how to use the remotes for the air-conditioner would be helpful. Pros .. place was tidy ,access instructions was on point, and the place is spacious..
This Brownstone was Every and More for Our 4 day stay. It is in walking distance to the historic Apollo, shopping and food! The owner responded immediately when contacted about our only issue, the tub knob came off. Needless to say, I would stay here again!!!
Me and my mother stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. The apartment itself is big and spacious but could have been a little bit cleaner. The area is nice with good shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Only a short journey by Subway into Manhattan for sightseeing. Great communication from host. Overall would recommend and would stay again.
For the price, this place was perfect. Close to a zillion amenities. We are not âcity peopleâ but we felt safe. It was the weekend so no problem with street parking. The host was extremely responsive, and went above and beyond. We had an issue which she addressed quickly, and the maintenance person was very professional. Kitchen is updated. We would like to stay again when we return.
We rented this apartment for a work trip to CCNY and it worked out very well! The apartment was a nice size, extremely conveniently located, and clean. On street parking was no problem and public transportation is close if you don't want to drive. The host was very nice to deal with. Highly recommend!
The place was ok, my daughter caught an allergic reaction to something while we were there the first night. Before my husband went to sleep he was itching in his ENT, which is not common for him. Then I so happen to wake up out of my sleep and my ENT was itching really bad we all had to take an allergy medicine. Then we couldnât figure out how to work the heat which Iâm assuming we did do it right because it was controlled with these remote controls that I turned all the way up, but it was still cold throughout the night. Other than that the place is nice for a quick stay.
