You’ll enjoy your stay “tucked away” in this delightful, secluded location among the trees. This sweet and cozy cabin offers a charming combination of indoor and outdoor living spaces. Indoors, enjoy the comforts of home with the well-appointed kitchen, bath, bedroom, and sun room. The glassed-in sun room opens to the spacious deck giving you the feeling that you are in the tree tops. The large deck is shaded most of the day and you can hear the delightful trickling of the stream as it runs through the forest below. At night, enjoy the warmth of the fire pit or relax in the hot tub while gazing at the star filled sky!

Beautiful little cabin for 2!

The cabin is so cute and is in a nice tucked away spot. It's so relaxing and quiet with beautiful veiws. The only issue we had was the driveway was in pretty rough shape I think smaller cars would have trouble getting in and the railing around the deck needs to be repaired. We would definitely come back again!

Great couples getaway

My wife and had a weekend getaway for our 20th anniversary. The isolation and privacy of this cabin was great. We picked up food and drinks on the way in, fixed our meals there and never left the cabin the entire weekend. We enjoyed the deck, firepit, and hot tub a lot. We could hear the nearby stream from the deck. We will be back!!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!

What an absolutely fabulous cabin! The location, the privacy, the cleanliness and coziness made for a fabulous anniversary weekend. The kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub was perfect and the firepit made for a perfect stay. There is a very nice grill on the back deck as well. I highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!! Rent it....you won't regret it!!!

The view is beautiful

It’s truly “tucked away.” Highly recommend a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive at minimum for the path up to the cabin as it’s a one lane steep dirt road. The cabin was quaint. Wish there was more room in the kitchen/dining area to store your food as all shelf’s are covered in decor and there’s no real space for food if you bring it other than the fridge / freezer.

Beautiful views, quiet, location, and comfortable cabin.

This is our second time staying at tucked away. The hot tub, views, secluded location, and well appointed cabin are wonderful. However, we had a few issues this time. The sound on the TV would not work, there was A LOT of dog drool marks on many of the windows and glass doors that I washed off, and the fridge had a leak inside I kept Drying the shelf. Otherwise everything was great. Just thought I’d leave these notes for you to address for the next guests coming. Thank you for another wonderful getaway.

Perfect cabin for a relaxing getaway!

The cabin was in such good condition - super clean & well stocked with everything we needed. Television was a little challenging, but that was probably our problem. Older couple - “young at heart” 70’s - & not real familiar with how everything works these days! 🤣

Quiet Escape in the Woods

Tucked Away is exactly that, nestled away from the sounds of the world surrounded by forest. There are several cabins as part of the Lydia Mountain complex and these are the most remote and on the other side of the mountain from the Lodge. The cabin was very clean and perfectly sized with all the amenities you would need for 2 people. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit (bring your own firewood) each night after returning from the local wineries we visited. The Lodge is a great place to get a good meal and is only 10 minutes from the cabin. We will rent from Lydia Mountain again for sure.

Tucked Away from everything!

We loved this secluded location on the other side of the mountain. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and be in nature. The cabin was the perfect size and all was well cared for. The only negative was that the driveway to get to the cabin was challenging to get up as the grade is pretty steep and our Rav4 tires struggled to catch on the gravel path. Maybe mentioning that in the listing or regrading the drive would help. We loved the Lydia Mountain staff and owner who were great hosts up at the Lodge!

Cozy and Comfy

We really enjoyed this cabin! The hot tub on the deck with the view of the forest and mountains was awesome and made for a very relaxing couple days. We appreciated having WiFi so we could keep in touch with our kids. We did have trouble getting in with the code we were given but thankfully the office answered the phone and helped us get in. We also didn’t receive the firewood we paid for but they had it out to us within an hour. We were only given one bath towel to share so more bath linens would be nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return to this cabin again!

Great, but....

Second visit to Tucked Away. Everything was great except one thing to know if you're going to stay here : there is no privacy. The windows that have the tv in the outer room have no blinds or curtains. We could see someone on the porch of the cabin up the driveway looking down at us. My first visit here was in 2017. At around 10 at night my wife and I were sitting at the fire pit when a car pulled up. We thought they were lost. Two 20 something year old girls got out (while a guy waited in the car)and began to tell us they were looking for a place to hang out and they didn't think anyone would be there. We did notify the main lodge about this. They left and we had no other issues during that trip, but this is why curtains or blinds would be necessary. Anyone could just come up upon the cabin. Also, the lights in the kitchen are almost non-existent. It's so dark inside so be prepared if your going to try and cook. Love the updates to the cabin since last visit, just would like the window dressing and maybe some kitchen lighting updated.

Tucked Away Cabin

We had a nice 2 day stay at the cabin. I ordered the Birthday package, it would of been nice if they had decorated the cabin with the Birthday banners to surprise my husband. The gravel road leading up to the house really needs grading. We went slow in our truck after the first time driving up and it was still very bumpy, hard on the body. Other then that it was a nice relaxing few days.
