Cozy Cabin located close to Shenandoah National Park, Wineries, and Breweries.
Located 6 miles from the Swift Run Gap Entrance at Shenandoah National Park sits 'Just Us' a studio cabin in the woods recently updated and ready for our nature loving friends! The cabin features a gas fireplace, hot tub, outdoor firepit, and downstairs pool table. The property also features a .25 mile walking trail for your morning or evening walk! The cabin has T-Mobile internet with Rokus. 4WD or AWD is highly recommended for access. Property is approximately 15-20 minutes from Early Mountain Vineyards, 30 minutes from Barboursville Vineyards, 20 minutes from Elkton Brewing Company, and 30 minutes from Massanutten Resort.
This was my first Vrbo experience and I could not have asked for a better place. The cabin was clean, cozy and quaint. And the hot tub was a great place to relax. Thank you for the wonderful experience
The cabin was nice and in a good location. Some general housekeeping would benefit the place. We noticed accumulation of dust on ceiling fan and some cobwebs hanging from a few places. The sink sprayer was missing the button to use it. The TV is pretty dated and small and not the most user friendly. The atrium windows could use a cleaning. It did not bother us too much but there was some steady gunfire nearby from either hunters or target practice off and on throughout one day there. There was a barking dog nearby but it it was only for a few minutes at a time every few hours and we would rather have not had to hear it since we deal with barking dogs in our neighborhood and wanted to escape from that. Having said all that. The cleaning of fan and cobwebs is easily remedied and we are sure it will be by host. The sink sprayer is not a big deal and all the other mentions did not prevent us from having a nice time. We did not feel that these things were at the level of contacting host about. These are just things that we would pass along because what bothers some doesn't bother others so it is just FYI.
Great cabin right by Shenandoah. Very close to wineries, breweries, hiking, and all sorts of other activities! The host was very responsive to messages, and the cabin was nice and cozy for our stay. There was even a little downstairs game room to hang out in. In all, it was a great spot for a quiet little mountain getaway!
Beautiful setting in an area with great hiking, birdwatching, stargazing, and lots of wineries. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. We had a great time!
The stay was absolutely wonderful. The cabin has a cozy and inviting environment for the family. A close and beautiful drive to the national park. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
We loved our stay at Just Us cabin. We appreciated the privacy and cleaniness of the cabin. We enjoyed building fires in the fire pit and sitting on the back porch. We visited the Shenandoah National Park, which is close to this property. We would love to coming back for another relaxing time.
Cabin was very cozy with comfy beds and furniture. We blocked the spiral staircase to keep the dogs safe. We enjoyed the deck, and spent time in Shenandoah National Park. We visited the clay festival. Great weather! Nice visit!
A beautiful cabin and a responsive, helpful host. One thing I do want to call out is that the listing's callout that you should have AWD/4WD is somewhat underselling the challenge of a few of the hills and turns. It's a 1.6 mile, single lane gravel road to the property, with two sharp downhill (or uphill, when leaving) turns. The quality of one of the hills in particular has a lot of deep grooves, probably from people going up it in wetter weather, that can make navigating a little challenging. I say this not to dissuade anyone from staying here at all, it's just something I wish I'd been more aware of the details of before coming. That aside, I couldn't recommend this property more highly!
We all really enjoyed the privacy and seclusion of this property. The amenities such as the game machine and pool table were fun. The spiral stairs are really tight and challenging to get up and down. I highly recommend four-wheel drive and being comfortable on back gravel roads.
My family had a great stay! We enjoyed everything about the cabin. It was clean and communication with Carrie was great. The cabin is very secluded and private. Would stay again!
Our trip to the cabin was intended as a ârest and recoupâ after a speedy visit to Baltimore from New York âand we were able to do exactly that! Picturesque log cabin with all the conveniences of home in a peaceful, serene environment. Great communication with Carrie, too.
This was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. Thereâs privacy and seclusion, but still not far from grocery stores, breweries and wineries. Not having to worry about bringing towels and linens was a definite plus! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We will be back!
