Great stay!!!!!

Amazing views and very relaxing!!!! Staff at lodge was super!!! Only suggestion would be to blow porch and deck off prior to start of stay. Have already shared website with several friends!!!!!!!!

Great view and location!

Great weekend getaway

Absolutely stunning house. The view is by far the best, but it has outside amenities to make it that much better. Only a short drive to Skyline Drive. Definitely worth every penny, and will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the host!

Beautiful view.

We have stayed in this cabin twice because we love the view and incredible stargazing. A beautiful location and layout for all seasons. The mattresses are both uncomfortable and due for an update but otherwise the house is charming and comfortable.

Beautiful view

The view was amazing. The cabin itself was very nice. There were a few minor issues such as the screen to the screen door was missing. None of the window screens were installed and the kitchen faucet nozzle spray button was missing. All of that does not detract from the beautiful outdoors and cozyness included with this cabin. I am coming back!

A Hidden Gem!

This was our first time at Lydia Mountain and we sure hit a home run with the My Lakeview cabin! The view is stunning, particularly in the morning if awake early enough to see the sunrise. The cabin is comfortable, cozy, and has all of the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. I love how close the cabin is to great hikes along Skyline Drive, yet very private and secluded. We are already planning our next trip back to this cabin. This is our new favorite place!!

It all in all was a nice place. There was only two drawbacks; The hot tub wasn't all that clean and we had a mouse in the kitchen.

Loved it!!

Everything was perfect!! We didn’t use the hot tub but would recommend having it cleaned and treated! Just FYI. Other than that…we loved it and can’t wait to return with the rest of our family!!!!! Thank you!!

Review

We enjoyed our stay, the view was spectacular. We did have a few issues that would hinder us coming back. The beds were very uncomfortable, mattresses should be updated to reflect the cost of rental. A screen door was broken and there were leaves in the screened porch covering the furniture which was not welcoming. We had to move a log in the driveway before we could go up to the cabin. It didn’t feel like it was prepped recently for our stay.

Fantastic Quiet Getaway with incredible views

What a pleasant surprise- We celebrated our 33rd anniversary and this was the perfect quiet getaway. The sunrise and sunset views were amazing. We spent most of our time on the back deck taking in the scenery. The home was equipped with all the essentials. This cabin was charming and rustic. We visited the lodge for dinner and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Easy to enjoy local hikes and wineries. An excellent weekend getaway!

What a breath of fresh air!

This was our first visit to Lydia Mountain,(myself and two kitties Ferguson & Raven), and it did not disappoint! Super cute cabin with amazing hot tub and breath taking view, we'll definitely be back! Also had a visit from a bonus kitty! Seemed familiar of the area and taken care of, just checking us out.

Great stay

We loved the view and the setup of the cabin. No issues at all. We will definitely stay there again. If i had to recommend anything. I would say to replace the shower head. As pitiful as it sounds. Its not a complaint at all. We loved our stay.

Lovely getaway with a view

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at My Lakeview. The view was stunning, and the cabin itself was comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. We really loved that we could enjoy the view while relaxing in the hot tub, and our coffee in the screened in porch in the morning. We were so happy to find a pet friendly cabin, and the area itself was secluded enough that our pups could roam a little bit just around the house. They also had a pet gate to close off one side of the deck which was very thoughtful and allowed our dogs to safely spend some time outside with us with some peace of mind. Overall a great stay, and we would come stay at My Lakeview again.

Good Morning - I just wanted to say that My Lakeview was a gorgeous property and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. At least the first night - unfortunately I had to go to the hospital on Saturday morning and was unable to enjoy Saturday and Saturday night. But I still highly recommend the location!

Please get better toilet paper

For the price point and how amazing the cabin is I expected the bathroom to be a bit more comfortable. Gas station bathrooms have better quality toilet paper than what’s here.

Not like it use to be

Mouse in the attic chewing all night. House was not clean. Satellite went out the first day. Tv had Roku but no remote. Unless you want to cook everything on high the stove is worthless. We have been coming to this cabin for 8 years. In the last 2 years the price has increased tremendously and the service has decreased. We will not be back.

Great view but some irritants

Great view, beautiful sunrise, huge deck, full kitchen well stocked, cozy firepit, nice hot water, very efficient HVAC. But...Old worn mattress in large bedroom needs to be replaced. We were so embarrassed by the decrepit frying pans that we bought one and left it there. Weird little barbecue grill next to driveway? Why not next to firepit seating area? Renters should be told in Terms and Conditions to provide own charcoal and must pack out trash.
