Perch - West Beach Point: Panoramic view home w/Hot Tub! Pet Friendly!
Lovely one level rambler with walls of windows to the spectacular west facing ocean view, and large waterside deck for entertaining and sunset watching. While peaceful and secluded, city convenience is only 10 minutes away! The house is in a perfect location to enjoy all Whidbey Island has to offer. 20 minutes to the north is Deception Pass State Park, an iconic attraction on the Island and the most visited state park in Washington. 10 minutes to the east is Oak Harbor, the Island's largest city with restaurants, bars, grocery shopping and essentials. 15 minutes to the south is Coupeville, a historic waterfront town with rich history, restaurants, galleries and shopping.
This is a single level home with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed. Living room has a 3rd queen bed (pull out sofa bed). It's about 1056 sqft, and one step to entry.
A large deck with a hot tub facing the ocean provides great relaxation. Outdoor dining space & BBQ grill are also available. NOTE: due to sand buildup in the area, the backyard no longer has adequately high fence and so the backyard is NOT fenced. We provide a dog tie so you can still bring your pet outside but PLEASE supervise your pet and children while in the backyard since the home is on a cliff. Please refer to the listing photos for backyard!
**About the Reservation**
âą In booking our home, you consent to completing a third-party identity verification. The screening will have to be completed within 3 days from booking or at least 24 hours before check-in, whichever is earlier, to fully confirm your reservation. You are welcome to reach out to us for complete terms regarding guest screening.
âą We uphold our cancellation policy as we only have each night available to one group of guests. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your booking. One date change if your check-in date is more than 2 weeks away. No date changes otherwise.
âą For stays longer than 29 days, we require a double cleaning fee, additional tenant screening, lease signing, and a security deposit to fully confirm your reservation.
**Additional Info About the Home**
âą Cellphone signal can be spotty. You might want to enable Wi-Fi calling/texting if your carrier allows. It is also a good idea to turn off roaming as we are close to the US/CA boarder.
âą We are at a high cliff point along West Beach Rd and this area of Whidbey Island is incredibly sandy. The front yard and back yard is basically like a sandy beach due to all the sand buildup. Please note that when it is windy the wind will blow sand and may cover the pavements and driveway in a matter of minutes. This also means that the windows get easily dirty. Our housekeeping team does their very best to clean the windows so you have a clear view of the ocean but is impossible to be perfect due to the wind blowing the sand around. In addition, we have dedicated hot tub cleaning team to clean, balance and vacuum sand in the hot tub after every guest stay. However, please note that even after doing so, there will still be sand in the hot tub as the sand is in the filters. Thank you for your understanding!
âą The 2nd bedroom sits against West Beach Rd, and you may hear cars driving by at night.
**About Fees & Pricing**
âą The regular nightly rate covers 4 guests. Additional guest fees are $25 per person per night, up to a maximum of 6 guests. Please indicate an accurate number of guests.
âą We utilize dynamic pricing. This means that booking rates may increase or decrease every day. We do not honor yesterdayâs pricing.
âą Pet fee: Well-trained pets are welcome; We charge $50/night for your pet(s) which have already been included in your invoice if you have selected pets on your reservation.
**House Rules**
âą This is a pet friendly home but kindly refrain from allowing pets on furniture/linens including couches, throws, beds, pillows, and towels. Please do not leave pets unattended; please bring poop bags and pick up after your pets.
âą Strictly NO parties and events, quiet hours between 10pm-8am, no smoking or vaping of any kind anywhere on the property including outdoor areas, no digital piracy, no shoes in the home. $500 fine per violation.
âą Use of fire pit and charcoal grill is prohibited during the burn ban
