Great central location for visiting Whidbey Island and surrounding locations. Stayed here for our second stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint. It is clean, comfortable and cozy. Everything you need is there. The hosts were very good at special touches to make us feel welcome. Just Perfect Accommodations and Amazingly Clean!

We came to Oak Harbor with our family for a memorial service and I can not say enough about how the host had this house prepared for our stay. Besides it being spotless, the home had everything we needed at our disposal. We had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and the owner left us coffee pods, ground coffee, sugar, cider, chocolate, paper towels and toilet paper along with other things.. It was such a blessing because we had such a long trip and had a lot to attend to when we were there. Not having to run to the store right away was great. Also, had everything we needed to iron our suits, etc and wash cloths when needed. Backyard was beautiful although we did not have time to use it, we enjoyed looking at the pretty grounds. Great fireplace for relaxing and beds were comfortable too. Thank you Hazel and Steve. We would recommend your property to anyone who needs to stay in Oak Harbor.

Top notch property!

I had a wonderful stay at Hazel’s house! It is meticulously maintained and she thought of everything! The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The property is located in a nice residential area close to businesses. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

Wonderful place. Absolutely spotless clean, very comfortable, and great location. Added bonus was the pack and play, high chair and children's toys. My daughter also loved the playground in the park across the street. Would stay there again!

One of the best I have stayed at.

After a terrible experience with friends at the coast, I was a little nervous to see what this rental with family was going to bring. Chocolate and flowers greeted us. It was clean, had anything you could need in the kitchen and family room. We spent most of the time hiking, and it was great to come back to and make a meal as well as a hot shower. Would highly recommend.

Family Friendly and Super Clean

The house was very clean and had everything you could need. I appreciated having coffee and tea and spices. There were only three of us but the house could easily accommodate six and still feel spacious. The garden was lovely and well manicured. Check in was smooth and Hazel was easy to work with and promptly answered any inquires. We would stay there again if we return.

great place to stay

this is a wonderful home, very clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked beyond any other I have ever stayed, although we had brought almost all our supplies for our breakfasts, and other meals were planned away from the home, it would have been exceptionally easy to cook for a group. The only downside was the 3rd bedroom had a daybed w/trundle instead of a bed to sleep a couple. Great stay would recommend, host was very nice and answered questions promptly. THANK YOU!!!

Just like home in Oak Harbor

Our hosts, Hazel and Steve Welliver, have created a perfect home away from home. The house is beautifully appointed and landscaped. It is conveniently located on a rise overlooking Oak Harbor, just minutes from the town center and the Naval Bases. This latter fact was great for my wife and me since we are retired from the Navy. My son and I were able to walk into town and also enjoy all the great walks along the harbor and up along Scenic Heights. For our travels to see past friends and sights, the house provides easy access to major roads leading out of Oak Harbor. We cannot praise Hazel enough for the wonderful service provided, the ease of check-in and check-out, and for always being there when we needed anything. Hazel and Steve were perfect hosts in every way. In short, this is a perfect home with perfect hosts in a perfect area. We will recommend it to everyone who plans to travel to this area.

Absolutely marvelous

Beautiful home with all the amenities, clean and well maintained. Seamless check in, owner contacted us with a welcome text! We were in the area for a wedding of our Granddaughter and had a great time. I will attempt to stay there next time we are in town! LOVED IT and can’t say enough, we hated to leave!!!!

This motto, first said to me decades ago by a distant relative, has shaped me both personally and professionally. After more than forty years in the retail and hospitality industries, I retired last December to focus my attention on my expanding family. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and I am fortunate to have the majority of my family living close by on Whidbey Island.

As a lifelong native to the breathtaking Pacific Northwest, I fully enjoy Washington state and all of the beauty it has to offer. Our temperate climate allows for a variety of year-around activities, such as hiking, boating, and skiing. In my spare time, I also enjoy crafting and meeting new people over a delicious cup of coffee.

From our beautiful state parks to our breathtaking Puget Sound views, Whidbey Island is a treasure we want others to experience firsthand.
