Vous ne pouvez pas obtenir plus près de la nature que chez Le Rendezvous. Buissons de rhododendrons épais et le laurier de montagne entourent cette Rondette qui semble siéger parmi les cimes des arbres. Une complète wrap-around pont vous donne accès à la forêt luxuriante dans le dos ou la vue majestueuse en face. Il ya même un endroit secret caché dans les bois pour la méditation calme. Planchers de bois franc poli et une cheminée en pierre définir le thème rustique pour ce refuge. Des signes nostalgiques, des peintures et des souvenirs de montagne vous ramèneront dans une journée plus facile où tout n’était pas si pressé. Lors de votre séjour au Rendezvous ou dans l’une de nos propriétés en été, vous recevrez un laissez-passer pour profiter de 2 piscines situées ici, à flanc de montagne.

Beautiful Gatlinburg View

Stay was great! The cabin has a beautiful view of Gatlinburg and the mountains. The driveway was a little inconvenient to turn into but not a big deal! We did see BEARS! I will forever remember this cabin for the view and getting proposed to at the cabin! A memorable stay!

Great Family Vacay!

This was the perfect home for a family vacation! Great views and comfortable accommodations! You get the true mountain experience with the drive to the house, but we had no trouble getting in or out. We loved watching the Ober Gatlinburg tram, enjoyed many games of pool, and soaked in all the wonderful views. The home had everything we needed and the hosts even offered to give us fresh towels or extra supplies if needed! Our entire trip was made when Momma Bear and 3 cubs came to visit. The cubs played around the hot tub, while momma took a short nap at the front steps. Great home! We will definitely be keeping it on our list for future visits to the area!

Great Cabin

This cabin is just as described. Beautiful views from the patio and perfect for a large family or group of friends. The driveway is steep and has a sharp turn so consider that when choosing a vehicle to bring. We saw a mama bear on our porch and her babies in the woods by the cabin. Unfortunately a bear did break into our car (not the rental’s fault at all!). We had no food, drinks or wrappers in it and it was locked but it still got in presumably looking for food. So stay aware and follow the wildlife rules!!

Great time in La Rendezvous

Reviewer Comments: Rented unit for size, etc. Didn't realize it was at the top of the mountain. A little hard to get to, but the view from the deck is worth it! Saw two bears which thrilled the kids. Enjoyed Dollywood. Only negative is the horrendous traffic. the one main route is bumper to bumper most of the time. Avoid weekends. Thanks for a fun time in a beautiful setting.

Great view but some complaints

The location and view from this house, the pool table, shower/water pressure, exploring attractions and seeing all the bears made this trip worth while. A few misfortunes were bugs near the kitchen sink area kept appearing throughout our stay (small water bugs), alot of the surfaces, including the hardwood floor and appliances had dust on them, a few lamps had light bulbs that were out and not replaced and the worst would be that the hot tub listed in the property ad was gone. Our reservation was last minute but we were still not informed that it had been removed. The most annoying part was watching the new hot tub be delivered the day before we left, and not hooked up or able to be used. We would definitely stay in the area again but through a different property rental group that does a more recent or consistent check for cleanliness and accuracy of amenities at the property and the rental itself.

It was an excellent location and was close to everything we wanted to do. There were great views and we had everything we needed in the cabin. We ran into a few bears during our stay (a few snuck up on us so make sure you’re being alert) and we were able to admire them. It was relaxing to sit in the hot tub after a long day of adventures. Overall it was a great chalet and I wouldn’t defiently come back!

Great Family Get Together!!

Loved the rain shower in the bathroom. The hot tub was very relaxing in the evenings. We had a Momma Bear and her cub visit our place one afternoon. The cub actually played in the trough up the steps from the grill. They then proceeded around the balcony to the steps leading down to the driveway! The family group has decided that a return trip to this rental is a must. We enjoyed AnaKeesta; pancakes at the Pancake Pantry; music at Moonshine Holler; and people watching!

Bears!

This is a great property! It does need some updating. And somebody to go in with a wrench to tighten things up. Many of the electric outlets don’t work or connect to the light switch so you have no power in the room unless the switch is on. But after almost 20 years of visiting Gatlinburg in the summer this was the first time I had up close and personal bear encounters. One joined us at the hot tub and one actually got in my car. You’d never know it though! Not a scratch! It would probably be a good idea to warn people about the increased bear activity in the area. Thanks for the memories!

The refrigerator was very outdated and had a cord inside to hold items on the door. The coffeemaker wouldn’t make a full pot of coffee, without clogging up. The dressers in the bedrooms were not useable because the drawers wouldn’t open. The property needs updated and repaired.

The house is in very good condition, the furniture is comfortable, and there is plenty of room for a large family. Like many of these houses, the driveway is a bit steep and can be tricky to navigate, but that's the case with most others as well. We did encounter bears at the house on more than one occasion, so you'll need to be alert and aware of your surroundings. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.

A treasured memory

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came to Gatlinburg for a small destination wedding because I wanted to have it in the mountains where our ancestors were born. This cabin made an already special time even more wonderful! It's truly lovely and the view is unsurpassed. Please note that timid drivers will probably struggle with the road and driveway; both are VERY steep and have hairpin turns. It wasn't a problem for us. The ONLY negative was the beds. My mother is disabled and she had to sleep on the couch because the mattresses are very cheap and very hard! My husband (Ahh!) and I slept fine, but our king bed was the exception. Aside from this the cabin was perfect.

We did see a lot of bears, so the warnings came in handy. Lock your car doors. At least twice that we know of, the bears tried to get in our cars. The bears like the tub in the ground - and they LOVE the hot tub cover. I'd suggest replacing it as there are some holes in it. It added adventure to the experience just getting up the mountain to the cabin. Everyone agreed that it was worth the trip up and down the mountain because the views were so spectacular. Thank you Mtn Laurel Chalets for helping to make this vacation one that we all will remember!

Lots of bears

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was awesome and as we had hoped and planned. However we were not really able to enjoy the outside seating because of seven bear encounters. We were not comfortable going outside alone always maintained a large group we were very careful not to have food out however seven different occurrences with bears up on the deck and was chased out of the hot tub twice by bears. Otherwise love the cabin and the rental company is always easy to work with! I’ll definitely return in the future to the area!

Mark, you were so lucky to get to see a bear parade! So many people want to see them and never do. The cabin is very close to the national park and definitely has a higher encounter rate because of that. Unfortunately, bears have become accustomed to eating human food and garbage, so they come around some of the cabins looking for food. We do our best to warn people that a Fed Bear is a Dead Bear and intentional "baiting" of the bears in a federal offense. However, once the bears discover a place to eat, they keep coming back. If you are uncomfortable with seeing bears, please consider one of our other properties on a different part of the mountain with less chance (but never zero) of bear traffic. We hope to welcome you back soon.

Great location and good cabin for those with little kids

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the view we had from the deck and that it was on a dead end road! It's a one level cabin, so great for those who have kids and don't want to be on a separate level from them.
