Un chalet pittoresque pour répondre à tous vos besoins se trouve à seulement 1,6 km du centre-ville de Gatlinburg avec un accès facile au parc national. Ce chalet en brique offre une retraite agréable. D'énormes baies vitrées apportent la nature pour profiter de votre environnement privé. Deux téléviseurs HD à écran plat, deux chambres avec de beaux meubles, deux salles de bain et une décoration experte satisferont le voyageur le plus exigeant. Les planchers en bois d'origine., Les murs à rainure et languette en bois rapproche la nature Profitez de la table de billard, du nouveau solarium pour lire ou pique-niquer dans votre propre jardin avec bain à remous. Cette cabine de Gatlinburg se marie bien avec Dogwood Place si vous avez besoin d'accueillir de grandes familles ou des groupes. Cette cabine a un accès facile à la rocade de Gatlinburg qui vous mènera à Pigeon Forge et Dollywood mais vous permettra une retraite agréable de la circulation intense que les attractions ont tendance à attirer. Modern Simplicity

We had a beautiful stay. Personally chatted with owner about some tips that would make stay even better. Very close to town and very confortaboe home away from home.

Love this place

It was great very clean and love that it has no stairs. We did get to see a couple of bears to that was nice. The drive way is a little scary but you get use to it. Hope to be able to stay here again.

Way bigger than expected.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at our cabin. The place was much bigger than we thought it was going to be. The only draw back to staying here is the driveway. It is a real doozy. I would advise that bigger mirrors be installed to see if cars are coming in either direction. Had an experience with a black bear. It tried to get in our car when we were leaving. We loved seeing wildlife right outside our door. It was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place in a great location. You can be parked in Gatlinburg in 5mins or take the bypass and be in Pigeon Forge in about 15mins. Our main complaint is no blinds in the living room. At night you see the lights from every car on Ski Mt rd reflecting in windows, and in the morning the sun hits you in the face laying in bed. The only other thing is not having the basics in the kitchen such as coffee filters, salt and pepper shaker etc... I left filters so the next people don't have to buy 100 to make 3 pots.

Great location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is very cute, open layout with basic coffee maker, toaster, cups, mugs and silverware. Pros: it was about 5 minutes from Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg Ski Slopes. They made our stay personal by leaving a cute little box with some treats in it. We loved the view. Most of the house has been updated and kept up. Over all, I loved it. Cons: Only one of the showers really works (the modern one). Both showers gather water, as if they are stopped up. But the shower head in the hall bathroom didn’t give water evenly at all so we didn’t use. Since the other shower also collected water in the tub while showering, it was very slippery from where the water sat. One of the girls that cane slipped and fell. I almost did as well. Also, the Gatlinburg Tram rides pretty close to the house. If you’re looking for something super private, I wouldn’t recommend. It passes by every 20min full of people.

Great location

House was in a great location for access to the park. The beds were super comfortable. The house is nice with plenty of room however it needs a good deep cleaning, ceiling to floor. It also needs some plumbing work. The water in the hall bath does not have great pressure possibly due to the old fixtures, sink drain very slow. We had to call for plumbing help due to backed up drains from sewer system on Memorial Day evening. The plumber came from Knoxville and assured us he would have it repaired in no time. He was there in no time and was the nicest person. He was our trip WOW factor.

Weekend Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our original cabin rental had to be shutdown for a maintenance issue. Management gladly moved us to another rental that would accommodate us for the weekend. This is one that we probably would had never chosen (only because it looks more like a house) but we was very happy with this rental. The inside has been updated, very clean, comfortable bed, nice and private. Can even wave at the Tram going by (from the fire pit). We will definitely stay here again. Location is not very far up the mountain, BUT the driveway is in a bad curve. I would recommend a cover over the hot tub, and some rugs at the doorways. Its rained while we was here, had nothing to wipe off our feet. Had a VERY relaxing weekend! Until next time...

We have stayed in this chalet several times before..Everything was clean and in order...The only thing we were disappointed with was the living room couch...It smell like oily man’s hair... It needs shampoo or replace with a couch that can be wiped off... Other then that we really like the location and the one level...I love the kitchen and dining room!Overall we love it!

The mountain views were as not as good as some of the other units, but the drive to Gatlinburg was quick and easy.

The Snow and the Bear

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a surprise visit from a young bear who apparently wanted a piece of the hot tub cover. And it snowed 6” which gave us the opportunity to take a snow hike which was an amazing experience. Overall, the cabin was lovely. My only issue was with the closet for our hanging clothes. There is only one and it is in the bedroom that doesn’t have the en suite bathroom. Kind of odd. However, the beds were very comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with all of the basics. The driveway is kind of hidden around the curve of the road so be prepared to keep a watch so you don’t miss it. It’s less than a mile from the entrance of the park which we loved. I would absolutely stay here again!

Nice but missed the mark

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Dogwood Cottage but felt a mountain cabin in the fall should have quilts for the beds and maybe a throw for the couch. My friend had to sleep with towels on top of the thin blankets provided for each bed. Extra blankets and pillows should not be something we should need to request. I know the weekly cleaner doesn’t have time to wash all the windows, but the bedrooms and bathroom windows were gross and obviously hadn’t been clean in sometime. The main living areas, dining, living room and game room windows were sparking clean. Also, the air intake vent needs some attention as there were cobwebs and a half inch of dust on the intake vent and the filter looked pretty dirty too. A couple of the output vents had black soot all around them, on the ceiling. I understand having a fireplace increase these issue but it should be addressed on a regular basis. I do have pictures if you’d like to see them. These issue wouldn’t keep me from staying a Dogwood Cottage again but I would expect the issues to be resolved. Thanks, Joyceann Homberg
