Designer de luxe 3 chambres / 2 salles de bains Mountain Home situé dans la communauté exclusive de Bear Creek, à quelques minutes de la station de ski Alpine Meadows. Maison primée (Tahoe Quarterly Magazine) avec cuisine gastronomique entièrement équipée, planchers de bois franc récupérés, foyer au bois en pierre, télévision à écran plasma de 50 pouces, barbecue et bain à remous. Dort confortablement 6-8 (King, Queen, lits superposés (4 couchages)). Belle vue sur la montagne. Barbecue à gaz sur grande terrasse ensoleillée et entièrement meublée. Bear Creek possède un bel étang, avec des plages de sable et une grande pelouse. Radeaux pour enfants. Proche de la randonnée, du VTT. Le paradis des enfants en été! Garage deux voitures. Service de labour.

La maison est à 1/4 mile du parking Alpine Meadows Resort - promenade facile. Alpine Meadows et Squaw Valley (à 10 minutes) sont désormais la même propriété, il y a donc une navette régulière entre les montagnes.

Très belle communauté pour les promenades hivernales - plusieurs ponts et vues sur le ruisseau.

Beautiful Alpine Meadows cabin

Great location, super cozy cabin with huge fireplace and lovely hot tub for apres ski. Super close to Alpine Meadows (now part of Palisades). We had a blast. Ken was so great at communication and very accommodating. Would love to stay again. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous Open Timber Cabin

The cabin is lovely. The advertising pictures do not do it justice. There is a fabulous living area/kitchen with gorgeous open timber high ceiling and beautiful stone fireplace. The whole family loved hanging out here with the crackling fire. The deck with jacuzzi was of course a hit. The location was perfect for skiing Alpine or catching the gondola to Palisades. The kitchen has a beautiful copper farm sink and a weathered granite counter. Finishes I don't often run into in a rental. We cooked a bit and kitchen is stocked with all very nice cooking tools. I found myself even admiring the flatware. Nice big garage. Great stay overall

Great property in a great location

Beautiful house in the mountains near Tahoe. Great patio with hot tub and grill. Close to Tahoe City and Truckee with plenty of activities in which to partake. Thanks Ken, for a wonderful time.

Fantastic stay

This place was amazing. Starting with the location which is close to everything and far enough away from everyone. The pond was a hit with our little guy and our lab. Five lakes trail is close and was awesome. The house itself was clean and big. Open concept upstairs living area was perfect. We also loved the back deck and evening bbqs. Overall we would come back in a minute. Thank you Ken!!!

Our Favorite Cabin Yet

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It has tons of windows and skylights that bring in a lot of natural light. The floors are beautiful and add to an authentic cabin feel. The back patio deck was awesome, and really felt like one was in the mountains. The cabin was thoughtfully decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. It is well maintained and stocked. At night, its beautifully lit. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, with a creek running through it. Not far is a pond with a grassy area, which was gorgeous and my boys absolutely loved. It gave us a chance to relax, enjoy the scenery, while the boys played in the sand and water. The overall location of this property was ideal because it was close to Tahoe City (about 11-13 minutes), and so restaurants and activities were close by and plentiful. The owner is super responsive, and thoughtful. He really went over and above with his hospitality and was very kind. We have been renting cabins in the Tahoe area for over 10 years, and this was by far our favorite and best experience. We can't wait to go back!!!

Great location and wonderful cabin!

We loved it and the location between Truckee and Tahoe City Is perfect! Back deck with hot tub is just so relaxing. Ken was great and very helpful. Great hikes nearby and horseback riding. The perfect getaway!

Beautiful house close to Alpine Meadows

This house is a real gem. The upstairs has a large master bedroom and a great room that includes a beautiful kitchen and amazing fireplace. There is solid internet and a TV system with lots of speakers; you can plug in your phone to play music (need a USB to phone cable). There is a large deck with hot tub off the great room. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook and entertain, and perfect dining room table for 6-8. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with two sets of bunk beds. The owner is responsive and has good arrive and leave instructions.

Great stay at this Alpine Meadows rental

We stayed this Labor Day weekend at Ken's place in Alpine Meadows with two families. Ken is very responsive and easy to communicate with. The place is very spacious, much more than you wold expect from the pictures. We loved the sun filled patio with hot tub and mountain view. The little Bear lake is just a 5 min walk from the house and the kids could easily go themselves. We will hopefully come back to Ken's place for a ski weekend. We had a great time.

Fantastic ski stay!

What an awesome home! My husband and I so enjoyed our stay. Everything was better than advertised - especially loved the super accessible location, the hot tub, and the fireplace in the evenings post-skiing. Thanks, Ken, for the great stay at your wonderful home!

Designer home well located to Alpine Meadows and a very accommodating host

Ken is a very responsive and accommodating host. The home is thoughtfully designed and decorated with with quality furnishings and is well equipped. We especially enjoyed the large fireplace and the jacuzzi on the deck for those cold winter afternoons and evenings. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful and comfortable home and would like to come back again!

Fantastic!

This is a beautifully decorated home that was comfortable and so conveniently located. The beds are comfy, the kitchen has everything we could have wanted and there were real icicles hanging from the eaves - kids enjoyed sledding on the hill right out the back patio. Loved having a garage also. We didn't use the hot tub, but easily could have. Overall an outstanding stay, with a wonderful owner!

We loved our stay in this wonderful home!

We loved our stay in this beautiful mountain retreat over New Year's weekend. The house was everything that we hoped for and much more. We happened to be there during the New Year's snow storm and this home was the perfect place to be caught in a snow storm. We had the fire going (plenty of firewood!) and watched the snow fall through the great windows. The front large window seat was a perfect place to snuggle with a book. The backyard winter wonderland was an amazing place for snow play (sleds were provided). We did get a chance to ski and the house is so conveniently close to Alpine. We have been coming to Tahoe for over 10 years for ski/snow and this is by far our favorite place. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful home!

Great Holiday Experience

We took our family up to this unique and quiet area in Alpine Meadows over the New Year holiday. My family loved the grand main room with fireplace, great views from the large windows, the kitchen, the large master, the great sledding hill with sleds provided in the back, the proximity to skiing, etc. We will definitely be heading back and the owner was fantastic and conscientious to work with during the whole process. Well worth the stay.

Beautiful house!

My family stayed at this house over MLK weekend and we had a fabulous time. When we arrived, we were excited to discover that the house is even nicer in person! Very close to Alpine, beautifully appointed and a comfortable place to call home for the long weekend. Some of the highlights included a huge fireplace with tons of firewood, a very nice hot tub, great kitchen overlooking the back deck, sleds/showshoes in the garage. Ken, the owner, is a wonderful person who was very responsive to the few questions we had...we can't wait to go back and stay in this house. The nicest we have stayed in!

Amazing alpine meadows ski cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. We've rented many other homes in the area and this is by far our favorite. The great room is PERFECT! It has a beautiful stone fireplace, large wood family dining room table, leather recliners and a large, relaxing window seat. The Kitchen was very well appointed and we loved cooking while watching the kids in the hot tub. I also appreciated the little things like high end steak knifes, nice throws, and matching cabin decor throughout the main floor. The cabin definitely had a designers touch. The view from the kitchen windows looking out into the mountains is breathtaking. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee from the kitchen stools. The bedrooms are also great. There is a bunk room downstairs that is perfect for sleeping. The short distance to alpine meadows is also a huge bonus for skiers. Many thanks for a truly wonderful stay at this home!

Perfection! Wonderful stay here!

Great house (comfortable and beautiful); perfect location (very close to alpine and easy shuttle to squaw); 2-car garage (helpful with all the snow); and good communications with the owner (Ken). I hope to make it back up for some spring skiing, and hiking in the summer. Back deck, near the hot tub, would be great for a bbq.

I purchesed this home in 2004 after owning a different home 1/2 mile away for 13 years. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Tahoe is the perfect get-away for me. The outdoors lifestyle is fantastic! Skiing, snowboarding, all winter sports - hiking, mountain biking, water sports in the summer time. The Alpine Meadows area is beautiful, peaceful, and unspoiled. The perfect mountain getaway.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Alpine Meadows is tranquil and beautiful, yet close to everything. You have the best of both worlds. Being able to walk to the ski area (Alpine Meadows) is a huge plus! Alpine Meadows has great terrain, yet is friendly and welcoming. Traffic in recent years has made the proximity to the resort especially attractive.

Lots of glass - beautiful views, amazing interior design. Unique lighting at night. Large, sunny deck with year-round hot tub, quality furniture, picnic table, and gas barbecue. Great home for entertaining!
