My husband and I booked this property for our son's graduation from AIT at Ft. Sill. This property perfectly fit our needs. The living area was roomy and open to the dining area. The bedrooms were very nice and we slept very well. Wal-Mart super center was just minutes away as well as many of Lawton's restaurants. The entrances to Ft. Sill are only about 10 minutes away. My husband and I would recommend this property to any family looking to book a property where you can visit with your soldier.
The house was very clean and well stocked with amenities. We were there for my sonâs graduation from Boot Camp at Fort Sill. The house was very easy to get to, It was conveniently located to all restaurants supermarkets.
Very cute home. Was perfect for our stay in town to see our son graduate from basic training.
Interior remodeling and decor is very nice.
Hosts were great communicatorsâŠvery responsive
Property was nice. Property owner was awesome, responses were prompt. Suggestion if someone could cut air on by check in time would be great. Thank you for our stay being less stressful!
Perfect for graduation/Family Day for Army families
House was really clean, spacious and homey! Great location - close to Fort Sill and a Park within walking distance (about .5 mile away). Communication and response with host was fantastic!! Definitely would recommend! Beds were comfortable and house was decorated very nicely! Had some toiletries and a nice welcome booklet too.
Positives: location to Fort Sill was great- only a 10 minute drive. The communication with the host was great. The first night we had no hot water; however, the host had a repairman out within an hour. Negatives: The house was over 100 years old with a sinking foundation. Floors are extremely uneven and the house had a musty old smell. The worst and most concerning portion of our stay was the drug house across the street. First night, a man was dancing and talking to himself in front of the house. The second day a fight in the street between two individuals from the drug house. The entire stay was constant vehicle and foot traffic in and out of the drug house. In addition, only a couple windows opened in the house so we had to endure the must smell. There were no cleaning supplies, very limited paper towels and toilet paper. Overall, the house wasnât very clean. We almost left a day early to stay at a hotel.
Right from the start, hosts were messaging and making you feel welcomed. The house was just as the pictures online and was very well kept. We were about 7min from post which was such a bonus. I would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again if we ever find ourselves in the area again. Also, a huge bonus was I had left my ortho retainer in the kitchen and they offered to mail it back to me as we were already 2 hrs away. They didnât have to do that but goes to show they care about their customers. Thanks for a great stay!
