Experience the ideas and principles of Frank Lloyd Wright's modern architecture in this grand mansion overlooking the hills of Sonoma. With a lighted, scalloped roof, multicolored tile work, and a cascading pool fountain, entering “Iconia” is like stepping into the 1960’s.
Amenities include: gas-heated saltwater pool, hot tub, 9 bedrooms, large kitchen, 7 desks, gigabit internet with enterprise wifi, 120" 4K projector, dining room for 18, 2 gas fireplaces, and family room with a 65" 4K TV.
Outside: With over 100 palm trees and several gigantic redwoods, the outdoors feels like a California paradise. Enjoy the saltwater pool, heated year-round to 86 degrees, or the hot tub under the palms. Relax in a lounge chairs, listen to the fountain, or sit on a balcony and take in the view.
Living Room: This cavernous space was designed to be comfortable for a few people or accommodate seating for a large group. Beautiful views and a wide deck lie just outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. The room has a hidden 4k projector with a 120" retracting screen connected to an Apple TV with several streaming services, including Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Max, Paramount+, and Amazon Prime Video. Also included is theater surround sound, connected to the projector or bluetooth. At night, turn on the lights in the scalloped roof for a beautiful effect, or turn on the gas-powered fireplace.
Dining Room: Comfortable seating for up to 18 people, with dinnerware, serving dishes, and barware (wine, champagne, and cocktail glasses) service for 24.
Bonus room: Just off the pool, this large room is outfitted as a game room plus wet bar. It has a table with four chairs, a 65" 4K TV with several streaming services, a full-sized refrigerator, and large kitchen sink + counters.
Library: A small library is equipped with two desks + desk chairs and two lounge chairs. The shelves are stocked with books from the 1960's and 1970's, including cookbooks, children's books, fiction, home help advice, and encyclopedias.
Internet: Professionally installed Ubiquiti networking powers the wifi throughout the house, backed by Xfinity gigabit service.
Kitchen: The large kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, and a premium GE Monogram 48" range, which includes a 6-burner gas stove, and a double oven (dual-fuel with electric temperature control). It also has a full set of cookware and serving dishes to prepare full meals in the home.
West Wing Bedrooms: 5 bedrooms are located in the west wing. 4 of these bedrooms have king-sized beds, and the 5th has a queen-sized bed. All of the bedrooms have desks (one is equipped with an original, built-in mini-desk). Three of the bedrooms have private ensuite bathrooms. The remaining two bedrooms are connected with their own "jack and jill" bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms have balconies.
East wing bedrooms: 4 additional bedrooms are located on the east wing. All of these bedrooms have queen-sized beds. They also all have sliding glass doors that open to the backyard and the pool area. Two of these rooms have desks (one is an original, built-in mini desk). There are two full bathrooms that are located on the same hallway, directly across from the bedrooms.
We welcome your party of up to 10 overnight guests and 5 additional day visitors. The famous Flamingo Hotel can offer additional overnight accommodations, a quick 2 minute drive from the house.

A maximum of 9 cars are allowed for parking, and please park all vehicles in the driveway. Street parking is not allowed.
Guests are allowed access to the entire property except for an unfinished back storage area. A portion of one of the upper decks is off limits (half of the deck off of the dining room/kitchen). The deck off of the living room and all other decks are open.
We are happy to give you privacy, but are always available for any questions or concerns you might have during your stay.
This home as a great combination of privacy and convenience to restaurants/grocery stores/shopping/wineries. The closest grocery store, Safeway, is 5 minutes away and the Whole Foods is an 8 minute drive. Downtown Santa Rosa is also 8 minutes away, with a ton of restaurants bars, and shops.
The house is well located between the wine regions of Healdsburg (20 min), Kenwood (15 min), Glen Ellen (25 min), and Napa's Calistoga (25 min). There are an amazing number of world class wineries between the house and these destinations.
If you're looking for outdoor activities, the house in within 20 minutes of the Russian River (great for tubing) and many state and regional parks with great hiking trails.
It's extremely easy to get around. Ride shares (Uber and Lyft) and limos can easily access the house. Driving is also (usually) stress-free, and most amenities are less than 10 minutes away.

- Please let us know if you wish to invite additional day guests. With notice, we welcome up to 5 day visitors between the hours of 8am and 9pm.
- No smoking anywhere on property.
- Quiet hours are 9pm-8am per Santa Rosa City regulations. Outdoor areas are closed after 9pm.
- No amplified sound or outdoor music is allowed outside in Santa Rosa or Sonoma County vacation rentals.
- Pool Hours: 8am-9pm. Please keep a respectful noise level at all times.
- No glass or ceramic dinnerware is allowed in the pool area. Plastic tumblers, silicon wine glasses, and a full set of outdoor dinnerware are provided for your use.
- No use of sidewalk chalk or water balloons anywhere on the property.
- Please do not use glitter or confetti, or attach decorations to the walls with tape.
- Street parking is not available. Please arrange to bring no more than 8 cars; 8 cars can easily park in the driveways.
- Note: pool and landscaping servicing happens weekly during business hours. Please provide the techs access to the outdoor spaces, and they will be as quick as possible!
