Bienvenue au Dune Cottage avec une vue incroyable sur le lac Michigan et l'île Beaver. Face à l'ouest à chaque coucher de soleil, ce chalet de 3 étages récemment rénové a été construit dans les dunes à une époque que la réglementation en vigueur empêche. Tout ce que vous voyez sur la grande terrasse est une vue panoramique à 230 degrés sur le lac Michigan. Nous avons une plage privée et à 100 mètres à pied donne accès à 3 miles de terres non aménagées protégées préservées!

Le chalet récemment rénové comprend toutes les nouvelles cuisines, appareils électroménagers, 3 nouvelles salles de bains, éclairage, mobilier, revêtements de sol et décoration. Quatre chambres sont suffisamment spacieuses pour accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 10 personnes. Niché à l'intérieur du parc d'État Fishermans Island permet l'accès à 2800 acres de terres protégées pour la randonnée et la chasse en saison.

Le chalet Dune est situé à seulement 12 minutes du centre-ville de Charlevoix. Charlevoix possède un nouveau port de plaisance et un parc, des restaurants uniques, des boutiques, un marché de producteurs ... Il n'y a pas de meilleur emplacement dans Charlevoix. Il existe de nombreuses options de parcours de golf à proximité du chalet. Le ski de neige dans les mois d'hiver est facilement accessible aussi bien.

Nous avons été dans le secteur de la location hebdomadaire pendant 2 décennies et toujours plaisir à partager nos belles propriétés avec nos clients.

Wonderful Stay

I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Sunsets were phenomenal. Charlevoix was only a short drive away when you wanted to go there but the best part was being on the Lake Michigan shore and having our part of the lake all to ourselves. Great for the little grandkids as well as for all of the adults. Everyone wants to go back. Owner's response time for our questions was great.

Lovely Up North Vacay

We had a wonderful time in Charlevoix and specially at Dune cottage! Was a great location with great views!! Loved looking over Lake Michigan and seeing all the different boats! The kids and I had lovely walks each evening - they said they had never been anywhere where it smelled like Pine so much! Found some Petoskey stones… and while we felt like we were by ourselves had a short drive to get to Charlevoix! The property manager was very responsive and kind! We would stay again!! would stay low

Beautiful peaceful getaway!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Dune Cottage. We loved walking the beach and taking in stunning sunsets every evening. The home is well equipped and comfortable. Lake Michigan and the surrounding dunes are in full view from inside the house and on the lovely deck. Highly recommended!

Love Being on the Water

The property was just as the listing describes, but the views were beyond description. Our family really enjoyed staying at Dune Cottage. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.

Dune Cottage is a special place. Comfortable, cozy. Great Location! Stayed 2 years in a row. Would come again. My granddaughters loved the beach for play, walks and the sunset. Great family time.

Charlevoix Cottage

WOW, the beach & views are amazing! We had a wonderful vacation. The layout of the home worked well for our family (ages 7-74) with 3 levels to stretch out. Main level w/ kitchen, 1/2 bath, living room, dining & deck “perfect for sunsets” over-looking beautiful dunes & beach. Lower level w/ 2 bedrooms, full bath, laundry & additional family room. Upper level master, bunk-room & full bath. LOVED everything except house could use new linens (sheets & towels) and back-up toiletries (soaps for bathrooms). Thank you for having us & we are excited to visit again next summer.

A Kiss from Lake Michigan

Wonderful property, surroundings, hosts, ambience and environment. Everything was as depicted in the literature and we had a marvelous vacation escape from the noise, clatter and rush of our normal lives. The experience of becoming close to the pristine connection of land a lake were such a refreshing change of pace for us. We loved it!

Beautiful, quiet home on the lake

We really enjoyed our stay at Dune Cottage. The neighborhood is a quiet and serene little spot, secluded in the middle of Fisherman Island State Park. We hardly saw another person while we were here. The beaches are really nice and there are miles of secluded shoreline due to the state park backing up to this property. The 3-story cottage was large enough for 9 people. The house was fairly well stocked and was updated enough to make our stay very comfortable.

Get-a-way at Dune Cottage!

Dune cottage is comfortable, clean and inviting. It’s attractively decorated without being too fancy, making for a home-like experience. It’s centrally located for 69-90 minute drives to some of upper Michigan’s premier attractions. The two separate living spaces are great for family activities when a age range is present.

Girls weekend!!

We found this cottage for our 9th annual girls weekend for our group of 7. We were not disappointed! The pictures online don't do it justice, the views were amazing and the house was beautiful. We had plenty of room and the house was very clean. We loved exploring Charlevoix, we checked out the mushroom houses, the castle and the cute downtown area. As much as we loved the town it was great to return to the privacy of our house each day, it felt like we were the only ones out there. Thank you for a great stay!!

Wonderful week at the beach!

A great week of swimming at the beach, enjoying time with our family. A wonderful location to get away, private and quiet, and the house was great for our entire family. Loved the daily visits by the eagles, sitting in the tree directly behind the house.

Fisherman’s Island

Great location nestled in the park. House was a bit dirty when we arrived (sticky counters and had a fishy smell), but we we able to air it out since the weather was perfect. Great deck and view of the lake! Lacking in some basics like toilet paper and soap, but shops in Charlevoix are nearby. Loved the brewery up the hill and walks on the beach. Bunk bed upstairs was rickety, so, we were short one bed from what we expected.

Incredible Views

We stayed here in early June of 2022. The house was great. The owners have updated the house and it was very comfortable. We spent alot of time on the deck admiring the views and walking the beach and dunes. Fields called us on the way and gave use some tips about the house and the area. He was quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This was our second time staying at Dune Cottage and it once again did not disappoint! The house is wonderfully setup and in such a beautiful setting on Lake Michigan. It was so great to ring in the new year here and we look forward to staying again in the future.

Great place to stay

This property was in excellent condition and very clean. There were 180 degree views of Lake Michigan with beautiful sunsets. The house is designed nicely with 2 bedrooms, full bath, and sitting room on the ground floor; 2 bedrooms and full bath on the second floor; and a large kitchen, dining area, and living area on the first floor. It is close to Charlevoix for sightseeing. The owners were great to work with. I would highly recommend this property if you want to visit the area.

Superb cottage overlooking Lake Michigan

A very useable cottage for a large family. Very comfortable accommodations for our group of 8 adults. Nicely equipped and furnished (e.g., kitchen, dining tables, lounge chairs and sofas). Extraordinary 180 degree view of Lake Michigan with a small spit of land directly in front that adds interest to the view and sunsets. Wonderful deck. Great walking beach on which to find Petoskey stones, although not the best swimming area. Owner’s husband, Fields, extraordinarily responsive to any questions, and willing to help. Wanting to please us! Our biggest challenges were figuring out how to get there and managing the TV. Fields was very helpful for both.

Perfect Family Vacation

Excellent beach access for Lake Michigan because there are just a few steps down. Also remote and quiet as it sits in a small stretch of homes between two long stretches of a lightly visited state park. Well equipped kitchen opens to a wonderful eating area with a large living/family room. Our hosts were extremely responsive to a couple of problems, resolving them quickly. Also they are most friendly and easy to work with. Our only notation about the description is that it has 2 full baths and one half bath. They are all shared, not en-suite. Certainly not a problem for a family but might be an issue for unrelated guests. Overall we loved it and considered it the best of the several homes and locations we have rented on Lake Michigan.

Great family vacation!

We spent a great 4th of July week here, beautiful views and excellent location. There were 9 of us (6 adults, 3 kids under 10), and there was more than enough room for us to spread out, with the 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, and 2 living areas. The kitchen was huge, and open to the living room. The large windows and a doorwall gave us great views of the dunes and Lake Michigan. We really enjoyed the spectacular sunsets on the deck. A few yards away down from the cottage lake front takes you to an amazing private beach, where we had a great time swimming, and the kids had a blast with the big waves. The owners were very easy to work with, responding quickly to answer a couple of questions. We would definitely plan on staying here again!

We have been vacationing in Charlevoix for 40 years and enjoy the area immensely. Whatever the season, it is truly an amazing place! We all enjoy the beaches, restaurants, shopping, boating, marinas, golfing, library, orchards, festivals, neighboring towns, etc. We're so fortunate to have found this property located precisely where we wanted it: on miles of sand where the sunsets are INCREDIBLE) and a short drive from downtown (Bridge Street).
