Beautiful 5-Bedroom Home with Lots of Space

Welcome to our family home! We hope our guests enjoy it as much as we do. This beautiful ranch home features 3 beds 2 bath on main living floor with a finished basement that adds 2 more bedrooms with a full bath, and another living room. This home is located in central PA, with a quick 25-30 min drive to State College, PA. Home of Penn State University. Quick mile drive to the highway on game day. The home is 18 miles from Tussey Mountain ski and Recreation. The area also has hiking, fishing, and more with a few state parks near by. Poe valley states park is 13 miles (estimated 30 min drive in the mountains), Reeds Gap State Park about 6 miles (estimated 14 min drive). Also 6.5 miles to Ray Vernon Estate wedding venue, just a few miles from Hartman Center, and Bell Mountain Estates.unfortunately the hot tub doesNOT work and will NOT be available. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Beautiful house and very spacious

The house had 5 spacious bedrooms and the downstairs was nice with the ping ping table and room for kids to play. The house was in a neighborhood not that private but its quiet.

Making Memories with Family

The property was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space but with a warm, cozy feeling to bond. Owners were very responsive and communicated all the details needed from a smooth checkin to the requirements for a fond farewell. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Great house, had a great time!

Friends and family including 4 legged kids had a great time at the house for the weekend. Very well quipped, comfy and great location. Owner is great as well, very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient small town stay

Spacious family friendly property. Dog friendly too with a big back yard and nice front porch. Located in a small town in a quiet neighborhood within easy driving distance of State College. Major grocery stores are a few miles away but there are some small local options scattered about including a local deli within walking distance. The house is roomy and well kept. The master has a very comfortable bed (which is not often the case) along with a nice walk in shower. The kitchen is big enough and well enough equipped to cook meals. Which we did. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay.

Great house!

House was huge and easily fit our big family. The ping pong table was a favorite. It was clean and stocked with all essentials. Elizabeth was very responsive and helpful when needed. Highly recommend!

PSU Football Weekend

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house for our boys' first PSU football game! The house was even bigger than expected, the kitchen was perfect to prep for our tailgating food, the rooms cozy, and with a huge basement for the kids to play. The house was a quick 30 minutes from Beaver Stadium, it was perfectly located to get to and from the game! We'll definitely be back!

Druckenmiller Family Reunion

Home was very neat and clean with plenty of room for us. Back deck was a nice place to visit and enjoy morning coffee. Kitchen was very spacious and worked well for family that had dishes to finish preparing before going to the park for the family reunion. House worked great for family that live in the local area to visit on Friday evening.

Beautiful

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding. Everything about the home was perfect. Basement is huge and was a great place for this kids to play ping pong and run around. Home is spacious and extremely clean. Great communication with the hosts. Would 100% recommend this home !! Couldn't ask for a better stay

Easy and nice

Everything was as stated and pictured in the online listing and Elizabeth was responsive and helpful when contacted. There were many kitchen amenities that weren’t listed and very helpful for our stay. The home was beautiful and clean and in close proximity to the highway (but far enough away) to make things even easier. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect house for us

We were five siblings all over 70 years old and needing at least two ground floor bedrooms. This house had three plus two bedrooms in the basement The Main floor was large and open giving us room to gather and a big table that fit all of us. The pato table and chairs were also nice to have. We found fun local places to eat and the residence were very welcoming

Great Home for a Large Group!

We were in town for our younger son's wedding so it was a super happy occasion for us! We had family & friends staying with us so with 5 bedrooms there was plenty of room for everyone. The large living room / great room was quite spacious and lovely and it has an open concept so the kitchen and dining area are all part of the open space as well which we really enjoyed.The location is within a relatively short driving distance to State College and other local attractions, making it a desirable location for most out of town guests in my opinion.Some of the drawers and closets had personal belongings in them, which made it a bit awkward at first, but we were able to work around it and had room for own food, clothes, and personal items. I know if it was our home that we rented out to guests I would have a hard time keeping it as well organized and clean as this home! Every room was spotless and well appointed, making it so cozy and enjoyable. Overall, I would gladly stay here again and think it is a lovely home for any size family or group of friends to stay and enjoy the area!

Tussey Ski Race Weekend

Elizabeth was the perfect host, being very accommodating when we had to make some last-minute changes. House was immaculate, in a quiet, residential neighborhood, and very well appointed. We did a lot of cooking, the kitchen was stocked. Beds were comfortable, high-quality linens and plenty of towels. It was a huge plus that we could bring our dog. Nice to have a ping-ponging table in the basement. Enough bedrooms for two families, four adults and three teenagers . We will definitely be back!

Excellent place for a family to stay

Very nice and open floor plan. Large variety of bedroom choices to fit everyone from Grade school to adult. Large ample bathrooms with nice showers. Very nice outside area to relax and enjoy the views. Host was prompt and quick to respond to any questions. Overall an A+

Weekend at PSU

This was the perfect house to accommodate our group. Plenty of beds for everyone. We really only slept here while we were visiting with our son at PSU and attending the football game. Beautiful deck and backyard that would have been nice to use if we had more time. House was clean. The only thing missing was pillows on the beds. There were pillows but they were more decorative pillows and not pillows that were comfortable to sleep in. All other linens were provided and were great! Owners were reaponsive and house was as described.

The Baker Family Extravaganza

We all descend on a centrally located venue for some good ol' family time and fellowship. Myself, the missus, my adult kids and their spouses, the grand baby, my brother and his missus. It's clean. It's roomy. It's cozy. And there's quiet places to escape to if you want some down time. The back deck seemed to be the place to be for getting together. It's all it's described as. Elizabeth is a great hostess. Book with confidence.
