Cozy Cottage de campagne avec Juniata accès à la rivière et Railroad Vues

Le chalet entièrement rénové se trouve sur notre ferme de 105 acres et est rempli de charme de la campagne. Cottage a été construite vers 1840, mais est équipé d'une cuisine moderne entièrement équipée, salon spacieux, salle de bain avec baignoire / douche combo et deux chambres à l'étage. Les installations comprennent le chauffage central et un / c, TV satellite et accès wifi gratuit. Le chalet se trouve à environ 150 kilomètres de la belle rivière Juniata qui possède certains des meilleurs pêche au bar du centre Pa. Les amateurs de train pourront observer les trains comme ils voyagent à travers les champs agricoles supérieurs comme ils font leur chemin à Philadelphie et Pittsburgh. Très bien situé pour les gens qui aiment le plein air ou pour vous réchauffer dans le confort de la maison. Burnt Timbers Winery est situé à env. 75 mètres du chalet.

We had a lovely stay while in the area unwinding and wine tasting. The property is as advertised and the owners are friendly and accommodating. The train does come by several times overnight and sounds the horn at the nearby crossing. I am a light sleeper so I used ear plugs the second night and slept better!

Clean,charming with period details but all the modern comforts.Spacious.Parking right by door for accessibility.The hosts are communicative but not intrusive. Wonderful private location within walking distance to the winery. Only ten minutes from town. Perfect for my family’s needs. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cottag was very clean and comfortable. Sarah and Mark were wonderful. Enjoed hearing the history of the Cottage.Really enjoyed the outside fireplace during the concert on Saturday.Looking forward to our next stay.

It was so great that my autistic son cried for 3 hours on the drive home about his cottage and kept asking me to turn around. Last time we stayed in the area he was so out of his comfort zone and scared that he wouldn’t sleep until 3 am for the first 3 nights. It’s a very peaceful property, with lot of fun to be had and the best hosts you could ask for.

Quaint, clean, well appointed and very quiet

This house may not be very large, but despite this it feels spacious. For an old home, the interior is well updated. It has a well appointed kitchen and a nice outdoor space. Was happy to have stayed here and will definitely stay again in the future. Thanks Mark & Sarah

Wonderful stay!

Amazing farmhouse on a Winery. Very clean and cozy. My wife and daughter loved sitting by the fireplace and reading. Forty-five minutes from Penn State was perfect for us, as my daughter wanted some time away from campus. My wife and daughter are already planning a girl's weekend so they can spend more time at the Winery. I loved watching the trains go by!

Sweet Little Cottage on 1850 Farm

Our stay was perfect. My husband and I, my brother and sister in law, attended a Penn State tailgate and game this weekend and the Burnt Timbers cottage provided us with a welcome home after a long, hard day. Although a bit far from State College, it was a nice respite from all the hustle and bustle. The weather was not great and we were away so much of the weekend that we didn't get a chance to enjoy the property's small winery, but we did enjoy the cozy TV area late at night, the kitchen space for coffee and danish on Sunday morning and the enchanting roosters which we loved. I once heard a story from friends who stayed in an Irish castle's cottage and they received fresh eggs every morning from the chickens on the farm....that would be a nice touch. Also, since the farm is so remote, a note about local convenience stores might be helpful. We really didn't know where we were late at night. I personally loved paging through the cottage magazines, myself. Thank you so much.

Great location. A great place to get away from the noise of life. Very comfortable cottage. Great host n right next to a winery. And the Saturday evening band wasnt bad either. Definitely worth it. Better than a B&B.

This is a very nice little farm house with a Winery right next door. We enjoyed our stay and the weather even cooperated and there was a nice cool breeze so we took advantage of the outdoor fireplace!

I honestly never thought Pennsylvania was supposed to be this beautiful. And the pictures on VRBO do not do your little farmhouse justice. Cute Clean Cottage

I recently stayed at at this cottage and had a wonderful experience! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided all the comforts of home. The property was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, making for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Perfect getaway

We were coming from about 4 hours away for the Penn State/ Michigan game- our first big D1 game with my husband and myself, and two sons (14 and 10). The cottage was just far enough away from State College to be out of the crowds and hustle of the weekend, but close enough to be a short, easy drive. The cottage itself was the perfect mix of rustic and modern. The boys played football out back in the clearing. When they came in to relax, throw on a blanket on the couch, the satellite tv had all the channels needed. The scenery of the corn fields, winery, peak of mountains, peeking of the nearby trains was beautiful. There were plenty of restaurants, both local and chains, close by in Lewistown (about 10 minutes). I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the cottage to someone I know. In fact, I already have.

Great Cottage with great owners! My wife and my 5th day and every stay gets better! Owners stop multiple time and we talked at the winery that is right aside of the Cottage! Can’t go wrong!!
