Gorgeous ocean view from the beautiful deck. We enjoyed the waterside fire pit, watching the water and hearing the “crackling tide.”Kitchen was well-equipped with high-end appliances. We were disappointed to learn that two of the bedrooms don’t have easy access to a bathroom. Could also use better bed pillows.

The view is beautiful. The only note I would make is 2 bedrooms are located upstairs. The one bathroom on that floor is in a bedroom. So the other bedroom must go downstairs for the bathroom. Only a problem if you get up in the middle of the night. It is not misrepresented in the listing. Just easy to overlook.

A accommodations on our recent trip to Acadia National Park. Beautiful property and a home that did not disappoint. Located down a quiet road with gorgeous views of the water. Located approximately 1 hour from Bar Harbor, and while the drive was easy enough, we found ourselves spending most of our time in the neighboring Winter Harbor/Schoodic areas; they offer the same beauty with significantly less of a crowd.The property manager did an excellent job with communication before, during, and after our trip. Would not hesitate to book here again next time we are in Maine!

What a beautiful special place, away from all the crowds! We spent most all of our time there on the Schoodic side of Acadia and enjoying the property in the backyard. The magical sound of the waves crashing against the smooth rocks was ethereal. Would come back 1,000 times.

Awesome stay. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, great views from the many windows. Saw deer grazing nearby and I got beautiful sunrise photos from the nearby lighthouse. Communication, check in and check out process were flawless. I highly recommend this property.

My family loved the location of the house. It’s in a beautiful area and have beautiful views of the water. Sunrise is especially beautiful. It’s in a peaceful town that quiet. Schoodic peninsula is very close and it’s absolutely beautiful. It was also easy to book a boat tour out of winter harbor, we loved the shops like the 5 and 10, and also the restaurants in the area were great! Everyone was so nice, my family loved it for our vacation. The home is very nice, beautiful kitchen, lovely views, nice deck out back. I so glad we booked here and decided to drive into bar harbor and Acadia a few days to avoid the crowds while at home it was very peaceful and beautiful.

Beautiful Home, could use some ceiling fans to be more comfortable. The Home does not have air-conditioning so plan your trip accordingly. To get down to the water, you must climb down a small cliff… The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, but the third base ment bedroom was extremely musty, but at least cool since it was a heat wave when we stayed. A little noisy also, with having to keep the dehumidifier running right near the bed.

Donna, This is true, to get to the water it is difficult. We also ask that you DO NOT climb the cliff down to the water in the desciption and in the guest book! It is not safe, due to undercurrents in front of the house. It is intentional and explained. This beautiful home has incredible views, and is well stocked with everything that you might need. There is a really nice beach at the end of the road, that we also directed you to in the guest book. The basement does have a dehumidifier to keep the moisture down. A waterfront property in July needs one in a basement for sure! ; ) I hope your travels home were good. We appreciate you!

The location was great! The views from the many decks of the water were breathtaking. The sunrises were spectacular, we had everything we needed as far as the house goes. The fire pit was nice. First time in Maine. Would be hard to beat this property

Hidden gem

The house was terrific. The ocean views were outstanding, and the space was perfect. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, and would definitely rent the house again!
