À propos de cet hébergement
The Apartment at Sky Hollow, The Apartment at Sky Hollow
A charming one bedroom apartment attached to the main farm house, the guest suite at Sky Hollow Farm boasts stunning mountain views, a sauna, swimming pond, hiking trails, high speed internet and is located minutes from renowned New England ski areas including Killington, Sugarbush, and Stowe.
4x4 REQUIRED for winter season - this 1800s farm is located at the top of a very steep dirt road. A comfortable space with games, a smart TV, high speed internet, and outdoor access to farm property, a sauna, miles of hiking and mountain bike (Ridgeline) trails, and nearby river and swimming holes make an ideal couples getaway. The apartment bedroom does share a wall with the hosts' living space, so please be mindful of noise. The bedroom offers a queen size bed and an armoire for clothing storage. The full bathroom includes both a tub and a shower. Details like warm throw blankets and a collection of books create a cozy, home-like stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The space is heated by a pellet stove - pellets and instructions are supplied, and hosts are always willing to give a demonstration. Brochures and recommendations for local New England attractions and activities are provided. Dogs are welcome and must be leashed or under voice command at all times. A pet fee of $50 per pet for any length of stay is required. The horses' pasture is located considerably close to the apartment's front door - Please keep pets leashed in these areas. Sorry, but no cats allowed due to allergy concerns.

Guests have access to the entire apartment space, including the driveway. The firepit located in the front yard is for owner use only, however, there is a wonderful shared firepit available for use beside the upper pond. The apartment is located on a large and very private family-owned farm, with access to hiking trails, a sauna and swimming pond. The cabin located there may be rented by other guests, and respect for their privacy is appreciated. Walking trails are all clearly marked with trail maps provided.Your hosts live in the main farm house. We request our privacy and will respect yours, but want to be sure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible, so please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions!
Sky Hollow Farm resides at the top of a dead end dirt road - There is virtually no traffic (neighbors only, 3-4 cars/day). The Village of Rochester features great eateries for breakfast lunch and dinner, a small grocery store, a bakery, a lovely public library, art gallery, jewelry store, a great playground at the elementary school, swimming holes, a yoga studio, and more. Rochester is within driving distance of larger towns like Killington and Rutland, Midddlebury, Waitsfield and Warren, and West Lebanon, NH for day trips and outings.
The hosts have a golden retriever (Kodak) - he is friendly and (usually!) well-behaved , but can be fairly vocal upon meeting new friends, please do not be alarmed! - 1 cat, a small flock of chickens, pigs, and 2 friendly horses (who graze in view of the house) on the farm. Please be aware of electrified fencing (especially with small children!), and leave all gates as you found them. Maple syrup and eggs offered for sale when available. Please consider that you may or may not have cell service during your stay - AT&T has good coverage, but Verizon is spotty...there is a nice rock on the mountain top (Lion King Rock) where it works well! Check coverage maps for other carriers.
