Custom built cottage 12 minutes to Middlebury College surrounded by forest with outdoor deck in garden setting. Private from the road. Grand piano, hardwood floors, wood beam ceilings, oriental carpets and lots of art work. Heat is provided by auto propane heater. There is a fireplace, but it is not functional. No pets please

This is a beautiful place and built incredibly well. The pictures are beautiful and the place is even more so. I am not one to sit still but it was such a nice environment that I spent a few hours on different days simply enjoying being there. We will be back!

Comfy cabin

Absolutely perfect, David was spectacular. The cabin was amazingly clean- it felt like walking into your home. He was so generous and considerate with supplies. One of the absolute best places we have stayed!

A lovely little getaway

The place is spotless and very well equipped. The host David was very helpful with ideas for dinner etc. And was very thoughtful with items he left for guests in the kitchen. It is a very relaxing setting with a lovely deck for taking in the outdoors and listening to the birds. The location is perfect for an easy drive to either Brandon or Middlebury - both lovely towns. The only drawback is the bed upstairs can only be exited from one side which can be difficult if people need to get up during the night.

Hidden Gem

We were visiting family in nearby Brandon. The space was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was set up with breakfast items and fridge had eggs, bread, milk, water, and basic condiments. The piano was a treat and allowed me to work on some preparation for a concert in the coming week. David is a very attentive host and the story behind the place is fascinating.

WONDERFUL!

My husband and I couldn't have been happier at Camp Tiger Ted. Our host was wonderful in every way, welcoming and responsive to us, clear about caring for his beautiful property, and helpful whenever we reached out. It was a bonus to have the lovely piano, which I took advantage of on several occasions. We visit this area of Vermont often and we certainly will consider staying again, and we've already recommended it to others!Thank you, David, for such a delightful visit.

Little piece of heaven

We stayed here for 2 days. We travelled from Virginia to vermont for a Graduation. The house is warm and inviting as soon as you walk in. It was immaculate and had all the instructions for the house readily available . He has a awesome story and photo album of the back ground to his home. Would definitely stay again.

Vermont Living

This was my first experience with Vrbo. It was wonderful. Checking in and out of the property was simple! My fiancĂ© and I were seeking a Christmas getaway in Vermont. We certainly found it! The property is in close distance to Brandon and Middlebury. Both towns have lots of dining options and shopping. We visited a brewery and winery. Our cottage in Leicester was pristine. Our host, David. was accommodating and friendly. The cottage is well built and you can see how much work David has put into it. The area is very quiet. Quite a change from NYC! If you have a sports fanatic with you, however, I’d suggest bringing an iPad so certain games can be accessed. David does provide a television and DVDS with a large selection of movies. There is no cable, but the internet is just fine. Thank you for your hospitality. David. We enjoyed our stay in Vermont.

Camp Tiger Ted

Our stay at Camp Tiger Ted was so wonderful. The amount of detail and care David put into building and now maintaining the property is second to none. The house was meticulously clean and had so many charming details. David also gave us both massages in his in home studio which waA the most relaxing way to end our stay!

Loved the property. Enjoyed talking with David. The property is really attractive and comfortable. One comment: The signage is hard to see from the road, which is a highway. I don't know what more could be done, but something that gives a heads-up would help to prevent driving past the driveway and having to turnaround.

Wonderful property with an unbelievable story! The cottage is extremely clean and well-equipped. Unfortunately, we were not able to take advantage of everything the property and surrounding area had to offer due to a limited amount of time.
