Lovely decor very clean very well supplied and a good location to get to many places. The only problem we had was getting adequate cooling on the middle floor. And finding accessible parking with reasonable walking range. This was more difficult because I had a knee injury. In spite of that we all loved the place. Both my son and daughter-in-law and my wife and I live in very spacious well decorated homes of our own and we found this place to be decorated and is clean and well stocked as our own homes.
The place was great and very much as advertised. It had the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO property we've ever rented. Rooftop was deck was a nice plus as we spent a few evenings up there. Street parking was always within 2 blocks so not an issue.
The house was remodeled nicely and had good space for a family of six (four adults and two children) and overall a good rental. There were a few cons for me though. First and foremost, parking was challenging. Second, the mattresses were hard and finally there needed to be kid friendly plates and cups. Despite the few cons I would still recommend as it was reasonably priced and a good location to access Seattleâs tourist locations fairly easily.
We loved this property! Very clean, new house, new appliances, fully stocked, we will definitely recommend this for families and friends. We give it a 10!
We loved this property. Close to everything. Super clean, nicely decorated, master suite bed & bath were excellent. Roof top deck was a bonus w gorgeous view of Mt Ranier. Highly recommend!
The townhouse was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and very big. It was more than what my husband and I needed but it was in the perfect location for us and it was available on short notice since we had a last minute change of plans. It would be ideal for a larger group, as there were 3 bedrooms and the kitchen was wonderful and would be perfect if the group decided to eat in for any meals.
The only downside was the parking but the owners made it clear in the listing that there was only street parking and you may have to park 1-2 blocks away. We always got back to the townhouse between 7-9 pm and often we had to drive around for 10 min before we found parking. Again, that was explained in the listing but it was frustrating at times. There is a driveway available to use for unloading and loading the car which was helpful.
Would highly recommend this place!
My husband and i plus my sister and 2 of her daughters came in from out of state for a niece's wedding. It was a very pretty place in a great neighborhood and was perfect. The host is very responsive.
This may be our favorite rental we âve ever stayed at! Weâve stayed in Ballard before so we knew we liked the area. This rental was within walking distance to quite a bit while still feeling like it was in a quiet neighborhood.
The townhome itself was very clean, modern, and well thought out. Plenty of room for our young son to play without too many knickknacks. Highly recommended for families!
Rooftop deck was great, we enjoyed relaxing there after busy days. All in all, very impressed by this place and hope to be back soon!
The unit was immaculate, communications with the property owner were prompt and excellent, and we had a wonderful trip with friends attending a wedding at the Ballard Elks Lodge (not your normal lodge!). We used Uber and walking exclusively to get around so thankfully we didn't have to worry about parking a car on the narrow streets. We highly recommend this VRBO.
We would stay here again. Enjoyed the great rooftop views even got to see the airshow Blue Angels. Well equipped kitchen with a gas oven which is rare in many rentals.
We had a little hard time finding the home. It is behind a gate. When we did the home was beautiful! Everything was clean and as pictured. There were many extras, only needed to buy stuff for dinner. The roof top view is fantastic.
We had such a great stay here. Everything was so clean, nice, and new. Plenty of dishware, utensils, and cookware which is often an issue at other places. Beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were so nice, particularly the primary bedroom. Washer/dryer was a bonus with kids. Rooftop deck was amazing especially with a cup of coffee in the early morning when it was sunny and cool. Owners were also so thoughtful about the little things (lots of towels, boxes of tissues, plenty of condiments/spices, soap/shampoo, nice assortment of tea and coffee, etc.). Location was near some nice parks and was great for jogging in a quiet residential neighborhood. Street parking was never an issue - always able to find a spot within a block. We experienced a few hot days during our stay so the only negative was the lack of a/c on the 2nd level. There are a/c room units on the first floor (tv room, kitchen) and the 3rd floor (primary bedroom) but none on the 2nd floor so even when you turn both all the way up the 2nd floor was still warm. They should consider adding a unit on the 2nd floor or getting a portable a/c unit for that floor.
I would give 6 stars for cleanliness if I could. Great space, good amenities like coffee and paper goods for quick meals. Very nice space with upscale vibe.
Very responsive host. Updated us on some info we needed the week we were there.
Close drive to downtown. Probably could have walked to some restaurants in Ballard, but it was a record hot week so we drove everywhere.
If you are a city person, you will be comfortable with the compact parking. If you're from the burbs and used to a big driveway, it might seem intimidating, but we quickly realized there are always spots just a few doors down or around the next curb.
Appreciated the AC system on first and third levels. Teenage daughter probably could have used a fan to move some air on the second level. To be clear, we did not even ask for one. I am confident one would have been provided, but we were a short stay so I didn't bother. It cooled off each evening and we weren't really in the unit during the day.
Rooftop was great. Could see Mt. Ranier and Space Needle and fun to watch planes departing at night time.
Would stay here again on next trip!
Lived in Ballard since 1993 and watched it grow. Built these new Townhouses to stay with the design of the neighborhood. We enjoy this area and hope you will too!
