Beautiful property in a perfect location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three couples met in Gatlinburg to explore GSMNP and this condo was perfect. Clean-spacious and great proximity to the park. Furniture, bedding and community amenities made it so enjoyable. The pool - hot tub-grill and fire pits were utilized regularly. If we come back to Gatlinburg this is where we will stay.

Fantastic Views

Amazing views! Enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony overlooking mountain views. We had chilly Evenings so We were able to enjoy the fireplace area in the evenings with amazing views. Kids liked the swimming pool area. Property was very clean and located close to Downtown Gatlinburg and Smokey Mountains Hiking Trails. Condo was very spacious and kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple meals. We would consider this condo again if we did a return trip to the area.

The views are breathtaking from every view point. Booking and check out are both extremely simple and easy. I was there with my wife and two teenage children and they were all amazed and very pleased with the accommodations. Highlands with be my go to spot the next time we visit Gatlinburg. 5 STARS!

Love this place except for one corner

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Highlands is just beyond expectations. Such beauty such views. This is 2nd time we have stayed and already booked for fall. Clean with nice decor. This last trip just had a corner of next building blocking part of view so we know to avoid that place now. You will not be disappointed here. If I had suggestion it would be the covered parking . Two columns to pull through are tight and we noticed most people parked out in lot .

It was AMAZING!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was amazing! It was so spacious and the view was amazing to wake up to every morning! Loved how much room you had to put your things away and no clutter around. We enjoyed hanging out at night watching TV by the fireplace at night. Gatlinburg was so very crowded and so not recommend going the week after Christmas but we could go up to the condo and it was so peaceful and so quiet. It allows you to be able to get away from the chaos in the city. I would definitely recommend staying here and if we come back then we will definitely stay there again! Just a side note this was the easiest check in and check out I’ve ever had. They just gave you the code the day of arrival and then we you left you just texted them. That was it. So easy! Parking passes were on the table in the condo. Now we did forget to scan the code on them to get some free things that came with our stay. We totally forgot about that but that was our error not the condos.

“EXPLORE” booking agency sucked

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property itself was superb!!! Very fresh and clean. However, “Explore” was ridiculous. I will never use this service to book anything for me. They booked a “tubing trip” that turned into a white water rafting trip 2 1/2 hours away. The train ride trip was also the same distance away. These excursions had to be cancelled and payment was reimbursed, but we missed out on the experiences. We were told these excursions were only minutes away from our local. Right hand didn’t know what the left was doing at all. Zero consistency. Condo was perfect!

We truly regret the inconvenience you experienced with the excursions and appreciate the opportunity to provide some context. The activities you booked are not typically 2.5 hours away under normal circumstances. However, on August 1st, a landslide in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park caused a major section of Newfound Gap Road (US 441) to collapse. This road is a primary route through the mountains and its closure has unfortunately resulted in significantly longer travel times to certain attractions that are normally much more accessible. The park service currently estimates the road will remain closed through October while repairs are underway. Regarding Xplorie, we're sorry for the frustration, but want to assure you that they are typically a very helpful and efficient service, with many guests having positive experiences booking through them. In this case, the unexpected road closure altered logistics in a way that unfortunately affected your plans. We understand how disappointing it is to miss out on anticipated excursions and are glad to hear you were reimbursed. We appreciate your feedback and your understanding during what is an unusual and temporary situation.
