Nice location, we've stayed at the Aquarius several times but this condo was dirty. What was left of the countertops because of the extra microwave (old was out of order) had sand on them. We had to clean those and the glass dining room table. There was hair in the shower and we hadn't even unpacked yet. Floors were sandy as well. No extra bedding for the couch or extra blankets. Glad we wash everything before use, some of the plates still had food stuck on them.

Great beachfront condo!

Aquarius was the perfect condo for our little family! It was very clean upon arrival, lots of space, great view, full kitchen and super easy beach access.

Tired but has much to offer

This unit is a little tired but the things that really matter are top notch. Great view, right on the beach. Quiet end unit. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Comfortable, clean beds. We will definitely stay there again if available.

Exceptional view of the gulf and the bay!

Thouroughly had a great experience here at the Aquarius condos, building was clean, parking was excellent, steps from the beach, clean pool, what else can I ask for on a beach vacation. 3 BBQ pits all clean and readily available. I stayed in room 602 which gave me those excellent views!

Broken chairs, paper towels shoved in bathroom ceiling to stop leaks, dirty floors, one small couch that didn’t seat all of us (4), and our bedroom balcony didn’t have any seating.

Great Location

The beachfront was exactly what we hoped for. Balcony provided a wonderful view. Grounds, pool and hot tub were wonderfully cared for and impressive..Ongoing improvements were a nuisance. Beds and linens were excellent, toilet paper and paper towels need upgrade. Fans and back of dining chairs need cleaning. We would still book this unit again.

Fabulous location

Great location. Great beach view. The condo could use a bit of updating and a couple cosmetics maintenance issues. No broom or mop accessible to sweep or mop up tracked in sand over the week. Other than these small items, it was fantastic for the price point! Would stay at this location again!

Aged but nice

Mo get away

We first checked in and there were 2 roaches on the counter. Killed them and didn’t see any more. Tv remote didn’t work in bedroom. Twin beds are very hard and could use some updating with holes in ceiling. Had great view of sunrise and sunset. Overall it was good. Thanks!!

great location, broken sofa bed

the condo stated it sleeps six. we were 5 people and there was a pull out sofa bed. this was completely broken and the sheets were left on the table by the sofa. sheets were not changed and we were not able to sleep on it, had to sleep on the floor, called the management company and was told that no one can come out that day, it will have to be the next day. they came next day and said that there was an order for replacing the sofa bed as it was broken. we should have been told, and we did not have a blanket. we should be compensated for having to sleep on the floor and use towels for blanket.

Pictures were misleading

You can’t beat the view and location of this property, which was its saving grace. The pictures were very misleading. The place was not very clean and the ceiling tiles were moved and looked like falling apart with dust. We struggled with several things once we got there…blinds to balcony not working, coffee table missing a glass top, fridge not cooling, shower door off track, no plug in bath tub, no hand towels in bathroom or kitchen, dirty towels. We spent the first day getting most of this sorted out instead of enjoying our vacation. After that, we made the most of it and just enjoyed the location and view. Place is ok, but mainly just a place to sleep, pretty basic.

It was inexpensive for a reason.

The location of this property is great and the lobby and hallways are wonderful. This particular condo is very dated and not very clean and there were a few bugs. I am a pretty tough Texan but I draw the line at cockroaches. Now it wasn’t so bad that they scattered the when you turned on the lights, but I did kill four. The shower door did not open on one side. And the microwave was not working but they had another one to use. Now, these are the negatives but this condo is in a great location. The pool is great and the walk to the beach has a pathway thing that keeps you from sinking into the sand. The hot tub was also great and the beds were comfortable. All this place needs is a bit of a remodel and it would be great.

VERY Poor condition

The condo was a complete letdown. The condition of the appliances - broken and rusty. The freezer smelled like shrimp and the ice tray was dirty. The ceiling tiles were dirty and many had fallen down. The laminate countertops were worn through to particle board, the shower enclosure was moldy and rusty. The furniture was a bunch of mixed-matched junk. The decor on the walls was outdated and dusty. We had to ask for an exterminator to come for roaches!!! The pictures online were NOTHING like what we had opened the door to find. The only saving grace was that the weather was beautiful and we could avoid the condo for most of the day. Unfortunately, we feel like we were deceived.

Nice building and beach location, not a fan of the condo

First of all, let me start with the positives! I am pleased with the fast reaction by the owner. The AC went out while it was 90-100 degrees out. After having condo maintenance check it out, the owner had the AC replaced that day. Also, the view is amazing from both patios, especially for the fireworks show on the 4th. Now with that being said, I would have to agree with other comments about the condition of the condo. There was rust and mold around the shower and one of the doors on the shower didn’t slide. The fridge is rusty and the ceiling fans were warped with lights burned out. The lamp on the nightstand had a broken shade that had slid down the base. The pvc pipe patio furniture was ripped and smelled awful. The dresser drawers didn’t pull out and most were broken. There is only a small couch in the living area, so anyone else has to sit at the bar in the old chairs or at the kitchen table. The ceiling tiles (similar to what you see in an office) were stained or had holes. Handle was broken on the microwave and the TV is so old, that the picture quality is hit or miss. Normally, this kind of thing would not bother us, but for paying over 3K for our stay, we were extremely displeased.
