The open living area is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Kick back on the couch, watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV, or simply unwind by the electric fireplace with a good book. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Step outside onto the 3 spacious decks where you can enjoy your morning coffee, dine al fresco, or enjoy the sunset. Escape the sun with a nap on the hammock or socialize in the ample covered space and seating under the house. The fenced backyard is perfect for your four-legged family members to run and play freely.
This cozy home comfortably sleeps 6 guests. The master bedroom offers a queen-sized bed with an ensuite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms are perfect for kids or additional guests, with a queen bed in one and three twin beds (bunked and single) in the other. There are 2 full bathrooms, ensuring everyone has plenty of space to get ready for a day of beach fun or exploring the local attractions. Just a short walk away from the beach, you can spend your days swimming, building sandcastles, or taking leisurely strolls in the surf and once you're back to the home, wash off the sand in the privately enclosed outdoor shower.
Close to everything: Salt Box is conveniently located in central Kill Devil Hills where you can explore the historic Wright Brothers Monument, dine at fantastic local restaurants, or shop for unique souvenirs at nearby stores. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.
Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
