Welcome to the new, beautifully and professionally decorated and well stocked ONCE UPON A TIDE, Port Aransas Beach Home! This perfectly situated 5 bedroom, 4 bath beach house checks all of the boxes inside and out!

The location of Once Upon a Tide is hard to beat. It's in the heart of Old Town but very close to Alister St where all of the eateries, souvenir shops, music, ice cream shops, etc are located. You can walk there! But it's also in the golf cart zone, so easily rent a golf cart (ask us about golf cart rental partners with discounts) and cart everywhere you want to be in Port A and to the beach and back, which is only about 5-6 blocks depending on which way you want to go!

Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.

Knowing you have a perfect location, pulling up to park is super easy at Once Upon a Tide as it offers parking for 4-6 vehicles depending on size, along with boat parking and golf cart parking; you won't be wondering if you can fit! Under the covered drive, you'll enjoy an outdoor bar with swing seating, a ping pong table, outdoor dining area, grill, and plenty of seating with lots of shade! Through the gate, you'll enjoy your own private pool (heated seasonally for an additional fee).

You'll certainly enjoy the outdoors but wait until you walk upstairs and enter Once Upon a Tide - front and back decks to catch sunrise and sunset, with seating, and open the door to a very spacious home with everything you want and expect, plus some, in a vacation rental!

Once Upon a Tide offers a large living area with large TV, well stocked and perfectly laid out kitchen which is perfect for the cooks to prep, cook, serve, along with oversized dining area with bar seating. Everyone will have a seat in these common areas!

Make your way down the hallway to a full-size washer and dryer, available for guest use. You'll have 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms: 1 King Suite with private bath, 1 Queen Suite with private bath, 1 Bunk Room with 2 twin over twin bunks, and 2 additional bedrooms, 1 with king and 1 with queen, along with 2 hallway/guest bathrooms. Everyone will have their own space to relax after a day at the beach or a day of fishing!

While Once Upon a Tide offers all of the comforts and conveniences of home, you'll feel perfectly placed here with gorgeous coastal decor and beautiful finishes throughout the beach house! The owners have thought of everything to make this your perfect getaway each and every time you visit Port Aransas.

Home Truths:
- Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
- Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time.
- Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by a professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks.
- Pool heat is available for an additional fee but must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
- Please note that pool heat is only available between Oct 1st & April 30th.
- 2 pets are allowed at this home. This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- This home features a safety/gate lock. While it's not fully locked, an adult is needed to lift the safety mechanism to open it. City regulations mandate either locking it or installing an alarm for doors with direct pool access.
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.
- Guests must be 21 years or older to book this home.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff.

We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
