This home in Oak Bluffs is fantastic. Close to town. Incredibly decorated and very comfortable. David is a fabulous property owner and checks in to ensure you are completely satisfied. Will rent again.
Great location and a fantastic host. Great communication, not detail was overlooked. Very accommodating to our requests and offered extra parking with out even being asked. Would definitely stay here again!
This property was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The owner provided beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as little things that made the stay comfortable I.e. laundry baskets for dirty clothes. It was clean and beautifully maintained, David was very responsive if we needed anything. The location was very convenient to circuit Ave which was great for our teenagers. Just lovely.
This is a lovely, medium sized home about a mile from downtown Oak Bluffs and a couple of blocks from the East Chop shore. Convenient location, plenty of room for six people (three bedrooms). Modern and efficient house but traditional appearance in a quiet neighborhood that is convenient to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven.
Have been traveling to Martha's Vineyard for nearly 25 years & found this location & the property to be a great find. Home is spacious & is located close to both Oak Bluffs (within walking distance) & Vineyard Haven (2 of the 3 main town centers on the island & where the ferries come into the island).
Home was very clean, comfortable & the A/C was a nice luxury to have given it was hot during our stay on the island. Screened in porch off back of house was a nice place to enjoy the nice weather we experienced while not being attacked by bugs.
Only slightly odd thing was the lack of a proper TV in the main living space, but likely not a significant issue for most travelers.
Would additionally suggest updating the beds & bedding, but is a minor item that wouldn't prevent me from renting the home again. One item to note is that the master bed is listed as queen, but is actually a double/full size. And, just bring your own pillows.
Overall, place is recommended to anyone looking to spend time comfortably on the island with easy access to some of the island's main attractions, beaches, dining & shopping.
This is a beautiful home on a quiet street in East Chop. Easy walk to downtown Oak Bluffs. The house was well-equipped and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.
This property was perfect for a weekend getaway. Close proximity to town but set aside on a quiet street. I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely home....even better owners!
We recently had the opportunity to stay for a few days at Oak Island. The home was lovely, but we were more impressed by the owners.
My wife unexpectedly left her wallet in the bedroom dresser...only to learn of is AFTER we had left the island. Flying out the next morning from Boston did not allow us time to return to collect the wallet.
Marie was able to locate the wallet and gladly shipped to our home address!
We were very happy...and you would be too...if you chose this property.
The house is well located and immaculate. It was a group of 5 of us that were in the Vineyard for a wedding and staying here made the experience that much better. Truly one of my best experiences using a house rental service. We would absolutely stay here again!
Loved our stay here... quiet spot, open/airy space, and walking distance to downtown OB and East Chop Lighthouse. So nice to sit on the 3-season porch in the morning and evening. Would definitely stay here again!
Home was in a great location and was very clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! I wanted to rate it a 4 , but the mattresses and pillows were very, very, very uncomfortable and should be replaced. Mattress pads could make the beds more comfortable, but all of the sleep pillows should definitely be replaced. They're very thin and a few were dirty. Stove malfunctioned and we sometimes had to light the burners with a lighter. Home has 1 tv, which we knew when we rented; however, the cable wasn't working so we couldn't watch national news for a few days. After 2-3 days of back and forth with the owner, the cable stations were restored. (May have had an expired credit card on file for automatic payment, which happens.) Caretaker, Robert was responsive and nice. Bring your own pillows. It's a 20 minute walk to Circuit, which is nice.
I was born in Boston and spent most of my summers on the Vineyard since I was a teenager. I have great memories of the island and have longstanding friendships from this time.
This property is close to my mother who bought a house on the Vineyard over 50 years ago in an auction during the winter. The house reminds me of the foresightedness of my mother and the ingenuity and trailblazing American spirit.
The house was built in 2006 and is comfortable and features hardwood floor and artifacts from my work and travels throughout Southern Africa. The house is close to busy Oak Bluffs but in a quiet neighborhood bordered by trees. The front porch offers a time to relax from days on the beach. There is a nearby beach, and scenic walks.
