We are genuinely surprised and disheartened by your 1-star review, especially since we did our best to address your concerns during your stay. We even offered a full refund of your remaining stay which you said was not necessary since you guys overall were happy with our home. We take pride in maintaining our property to the highest standards. We immediately took action when you raised your concerns. We made every effort to ensure you and your guests had a pleasant stay. We understand that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we believe that a 1-star review does not accurately reflect the care and attention we put into managing our property. We encourage future guests to read the full context of our previous reviews to get a more accurate and balanced view of our commitment to guest satisfaction and hospitality. Rest assured, our family vacation home is not roach infested. We have pest control visiting the home on a monthly basis. Roaches on the exterior stucco walls or driveway of our home are out of our control. The bird that has decided to nest above the jacuzzi we did not want to harm, but an order has been placed for it to be addressed promptly. The food referenced as being left under the furniture was one potato chip which, yes, it was missed by our cleaning team. We offered complimentary mid-stay cleaning services during this guests’ week long stay to touch-up the interior and blow debris on exterior walkways per guest request. We have pool service on a weekly basis. During monsoon season, high winds make it near impossible for the pool to be spotless - this was noted in our listing description. We provide a pool skimmer for guest use and provided this guest complimentary additional pool cleaning during his stay. Despite all of our attempts to pacify this guests concerns, we were still were given a 1 star review. If any potential guests would like any further clarification regarding this review, please message us directly.

Thank you for the feedback, Warren. It is true we made every effort to help you enjoy your stay as stated in your review, and we wish you enjoyed it more. We normally welcome all feedback, however, your review was devalued the moment you decided to urinate on our front porch in front of our camera on check-in day. This disrespectful act was followed by several complaints that, despite your indecency, we gracefully addressed by going above and beyond in an effort to help you enjoy your stay. We are confident our professional photos and thorough property description provide a clear and comprehensive view of the features and amenities offered at Tucasa. In fact, we are in the process of adding a virtual tour to achieve even greater transparency! We have taken your suggestion into consideration regarding additonal seating in the media and living rooms. Here is our advice to you, as a guest: -Read property descriptions and look at all photos to ensure your needs as a guest will be met. -Contact the host before booking to ask any questions you might have about the property. -Read all messages from the host since they will contain important information, like the front door PIN code. -Use the appropriate facilities provided for your personal needs. Glad to hear you enjoyed the awesome outdoor space provided by Tucasa, and all of our other guests love the indoor space too!
