Nestled on a cove and surrounded by a grove of beautiful cedar trees you'll find The Hayes Cabin. Well-loved and cherished by the same family for over 60 years, this charming lakefront home offers a serene retreat for visitors of all ages!
Spend your days on the large back porch, swinging, grilling, wildlife viewing, and simply enjoying the presence of the people who mean the most to you. From here, you can quickly walk down to the private beach and dock.
Continue to enjoy views of the lake from the home's front living room. Spacious and full of light, this space is perfect for family movie viewings, afternoon reading sessions, and board game nights. The adjacent kitchen will delight the chef of your group with its suite of stainless steel appliances, ample meal prep space, and an in-kitchen dining table. With multiple dining spots to enjoy, rest assured that family-style meals will come with ease.
The primary bedroom will quickly become your own special haven with its private balcony access, vaulted ceilings, and large TV. The additional three bedrooms are just as inviting with their warm wood finishes, soft linens, and hints of lakeside living. With creature comforts like a private washer/dryer, partial air-conditioning, and internet access - your every need is met.
While exploring Olympia and the surrounding area, be sure to visit the Washington Center For The Performing Arts, Pioneer Park, Salish Cliffs Golf Club, the Rock Candy Mountain Trailhead, Downtown's Historic District, and all of the local restaurants, and shops.
NO PETS. Except for service animals or approved support animals for persons with disabilities, no pets are allowed (even temporarily) anywhere in or about the Premises. Care and feeding of stray or unauthorized animals or pets is prohibited. If an animal has been in the Premises at any time during the Renter’s Term, Renter(s) shall be charged for all costs pertaining to damage to the Premises, de-fleaing, deodorizing, and/or carpet shampooing to protect future residents from possible health hazards. If Renter(s) or any Occupant is found to be in possession of any prohibited animal(s), Renter(s) may be charged a fee per their Rental Agreement, and in addition to the charges for damages and cleaning, Renter and Occupants will also be required to remove the animal(s) from the Premises.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
