This property was very spacious with a view. We were a group of 7 ladies and we had a great time and the beds were very comfortable for a good nights sleep!
We loved our weekend stay at this property. The views, the peace and the bath tub was worth it. The house was comfortable and everything flowed very easily and amenities were great. Our girls group loved it here as Humboldt State Park in this weather was humbling.
I came with family for a memorial to my late husband. The house accommodated everyone! Each had their own room/bath. The house is immaculate and thoughtfully equipped. The ever-changing view is amazing. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
This was an amazing experience! We hosted our small baby shower there and it was nothing short of magical! The house has amazing views out of every window and tons of natural light that made our stay a truly unique Humboldt experience. We made memories that will last a lifetime! !
Beautiful house, and the views are amazing. The house was clean and stocked with more than enough the necessities (linens, towels, etc.) Perfect house for our trip to visit the Redwoods.
We had the best time during our stay! The house is so beautiful and has an incredible view. The house was very clean, very well stocked, beautifully decorated, private, and very comfortable. The check-in / check-out process could not have been easier. We had a great time exploring the area and looked forward to coming back home to this beautiful house each night. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area, we look forward to coming back again!
A nice home away from home with a spectacular view and kid-friendly touches
We had a great time at this location. Well stocked kitchen, hot tub (which unfortunately we couldn't use because of the rain), washer and dryer, everything you need. The view is as excellent as the listing suggests, and it sits up on a hill in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There were thoughtful touches for parents with small kids in particular, with a little secret nook behind the bathroom where you can find the trundle bed. Lots of toys and books to keep them entertained throughput your stay. Highly recommended!
Peaceful and great views close to parks and restaurants great central location 20 min to anything you want to do
Comfortable beds very clean 5 *
I hit a home run booking this place for our 17th wedding anniversary
Thank you !!
The view from this property is truly spectacular! Itâs also a great launching point for exploring nearby parks and attractions in Humboldt County. However, a few things to note: some areas of the property appeared smaller in person than they did in the listing photos. We also encountered a few electrical issuesâsmoke detectors had been removed from the ceiling, there were loose wires coming out of the wall, and an outlet in the childrenâs bedroom was missing its cover. Additionally, the toilet in the children's bathroom felt wobbly and shifted when in use. There was a musty odor in the basement-level room with the gym equipment, which was especially bothersome for those in our group sensitive to smellsâmaking it uncomfortable to sleep in that space. We also noticed a few housekeeping oversights: there were no garbage bags under the kitchen sink as mentioned in the guestbook, and a load of laundry was left in the dryer, likely from the previous guests. We would have appreciated a small table, dresser, or luggage rack in the upstairs queen bedroom, as we had to keep our bags on the floor. That said, the view really made this property shine. Our kids loved searching for banana slugs in the garden, and the front living room had a great table that easily accommodated our group. The foosball table was a big hit as well. We had a great time overall!
We stayed at this house for our time in Humboldt Redwoods State park. The location was good for that, the house was large, very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend it.
My family and I took two weeks and traveled down the. West Coast. We stayed a few days in this home to see The Great Redwood Forest. The home is beautiful. The views are amazing.
This home was quiet and secluded. The views were outstanding and all of us were comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. There was a slight issue with the water, but it was quickly fixed and we couldn't have been happier!
Beautiful, clean, quaint and cozy home! Fit my large family perfectly! Great location, view, and entertainment for all ages! I loved it and will be back for sure!
Very clean and rural spot with amazing views. The house itself is well represented in the pictures. We used this for a multi-generational family get-away to the Redwoods and couldn't be happier. An easy drive to grocery or dining out. Unbelievable opportunity to relax and visit the Avenue of the Giants!
