Summer in Seattle

We came here for a summer concert in the city, great location, close enough to the city to take it vantage of all the things there. Beautiful home and property, meticulously maintained. Everything you would want in a vacation rental was there, in the right place and easy to find. Maybe the best vacation rental I've stayed at in 20 years.

Perfectly located & so peaceful

Stayed there for a family trip to see family we havent seen in 10 years and this place was PERFECT! It is conveniently located to visit family that live north and south of seattle. Able to just relax and take in the view of Puget Sound was such an amazing benefit during a busy week of visiting famoly and seeing the typical tourist sites. We can not wait to visit again & book this home

Weekend get away

This house was perfect!! The owners stocked the house with everything you may possibly need. The property was even nicer than expected with amazing views from most of the rooms. We can not wait to return for a longer stay!!

Couldn't be better...!

This was one of the best VRBO properties I have ever rented; and I have used VRBO exclusively for over 15 years. Location was excellent, cottage is lovely, communication with owners... wonderful! The view and outdoor space couldn't be beat. Beds and furniture are all very comfortable. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Cookware is all in excellent condition. I will definitely stay here again, when visiting family in Tacoma. Highly recommended.

Lil' Slice of heaven on the Sound

We found the expansive water and lovely garden views to be just what we had hoped for and the house was probably the best equipped place we've had the pleasure of staying in. Very clean, charming and comfortable, we would heartily recommend it to others and look forward ourselves to returning.

Great Relaxation

Dash Point Cottage was wonderful. It has the most beautiful view. It is spotless and so comfortable. Morning coffee looking at the water is priceless. The hosts are immediately accessible and very accommodating. We can't wait to come again in the sunny season. This is a special place.

We absolutely LOVED the yard! You obviously put a lot of time and effort into the designing and maintaining of each space. It was gorgeous! The inside of the home was thoughtfully and lovingly decorated as well. Thanks for sharing about the history of the house and the original owners. Kudos to the family for all the improvements they’ve done to the home and property over the years. We enjoyed our stay immensely; especially the views through the large picture windows, and sitting outside watching the sun set in the evenings.

Amazing view

Our family enjoyed ringing in the new year at this cozy, charming, comfortable home. The house was amply supplied, clean, and the amazing panoramic view was a highlight. We had fun playing horseshoes and outdoor chess, even in the rain. The short walk to the beach was a plus, especially for the kids. We'll definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway spot with awesome views

My wife and I just spent a week at this lovely cottage and had a great, relaxing time. The hosts were very helpful and attentive. The home was super cute. The grounds were outstanding. And the views were well worth the price of admission! We had some outings planned and family to visit but didn't want to leave. We will be back soon!

Cottage Set Up For The Traveler

Peaceful, beautiful and tranquil. Robin and Debbie made us feel so at home we didnt want to leave. To short of a stay and we know we must go back. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Hosts welcomed us with bottle of wine, brownies and historical tour of the property. Weather was beautiful and black berries in season. Dash Point Cottage is removed from the city, up on the bluff, in a panoramic setting, yet only minutes from restaurants and shops. It is magical in the serenity of watching the water and sky from inside with the great span of windows, or outside from the expansive property and seating areas. One day it rained for awhile, and we delighted in turning on the gas log fireplace, even in late May it was so cozy! We have never stayed in a VRBO that was so well equipped, especially the kitchen, with the array of utensils, gadgets, bags and wrap and lidded containers for grocery items, and so much more! They even have a gel pack in the freezer if needed, and I used it when I was going to make a bag of ice for my knee. Our stay was incredible, and now it's your turn!

Gorgeous Place

This property is absolutely stunning. The house is comfortable and fully stocked. My family absolutely loved the garden space and we are every meal outside. We spent so much time outside we barely touched the game room. Short walk to the beach, beautiful sunsets. Stunning views from everywhere. We would love to return.

Amazing views

The gardens and view are incredible! We enjoyed traveling to hikes and to downtown Seattle but would have been happy just sitting on the lawn or even in the house taking in the views. We were able to see an eagle and otters. The beach is a short walk. That in addition to lawn games make it ideal for families. The house is comfortable and has plenty of amenities. It may be the nicest place we have stayed. Hope to be back!

Paradise in Washington

Words cannot adequately explain the beauty of this residence. The house so nice that you didn't want to go outdoors. But the grounds were so beautiful that you didn't wat to go inside. The view of the water and all of the landscape was AWESOME. The gazebo by the water was so restful. We had the pleasure of meeting and talking to some of the owners and they were a joy to meet. We would definitely stay here again, if we ever visit Washington.

Peaceful and gorgeous with everything we needed.

Debbie and Robin are great hosts. The property is authentic as an early 20th century cottage home but with a million dollar view and gardens. Absolutely unique and beautiful. And they truly have thought of everything they could to provide guests with what they need to have a wonderful stay. It is a small house but with the large front room and kitchen and separate dining room and yard—entertaining a family or friends group for a day is totally possible. I highly recommend the cottage and send my thanks.

Warm Welcome and a Comfortable Stay

We arrived much later than we expected and were so grateful to find homemade brownies and a full complement of coffee and tea available for us. One of the most important things for me is the freshness of the towels and linens. In this case, even the throw blankets were really fresh and clean. Lots of thoughtful toiletries are provided in the bathrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked and the pantry and fridge offered a huge variety of condiments. The home has lots of fun antiques in books, furniture and kitchen gadgets. All this goodness without even mentioning the incredible view! There are so many huge windows offering fantastic visual access to Puget Sound. Communication with Debbie was the absolute best! We would definitely love to return to this beautiful spot.
