This cute original Big Bear cabin has all the charm and tranquility that you could ask for in a Mountain get away. There are 3 bedrooms all upstairs and 2 and a half bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. Large living room for the family and a large deck off the front of the house. This home is located in the lower Moonridge area which is very close to Bear Mtn Ski Resort, Moonridge Zoo and the Bear Mtn Golf Course.





Rules to Vacation by
Do not exceed the occupancy limit
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy.
NO PARTIES ALLOWED.
No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.
No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Take your furry friend with you
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly!
Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite unless there are commercial trash bins at your property (condo).

Consequences
Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to extend common courtesy and neighborly behavior toward the guests and residents around them. For those guests who have come to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility of the neighborhoods, there are costly and severe consequences.
Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.
Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.

~You will need heavy-duty trash bags for your trash, not provided. City code requires all guests to deposit their trash at the local dumpsite upon departure. Directions to the site are provided at the cabin.
~During cold weather you will probably want to bring firewood for the fireplace or you can purchase at local stores when you arrive.
~“Things Good To Know” are posted on the refrigerator door for you.

No loud parties after 10 pm Check-In requires confirmation of photo I.D. and signature of rental agreement. We will send you a text message the day prior to your arrival to the phone number you provided on your reservation. Check-In will be with a Check-In agent at our office located at Bear Valley Lock &Key 477 S Eureka Drive Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. The Check-In agent will give you entry instructions and answer any questions you may have about the property. No renters under the age 21. No smoking indoors. Deposit money is charged only if damage is reported. Firewood is not provided for guest use. Guests are required to take their trash to the clean Big Bear trash site. (address provided) If you leave trash at the property you will be charged per bag, trash fee. No beer, wine, lotions, grease, or dirt in the Jacuzzi/spa. If the spa is abused and water needs to be drained and filled you will be charged $75 drain and fill fee. Guest Services calls after 10 pm are for emergencies only. Please leave the property in the same condition as you found it. When available late checkout fee is $75, due after you check in at the property.

DO NOT BOOK

I highly recommend AGAINST booking this property, for a number of reasons:- The check-in process required signing papers at an office about a 10 minute drive away from the property. Not ideal, but also not a big deal.- Once we arrived we smelled a very bad smell that persisted through the entire first night. We finally asked the host to send someone (which they were responsive about) and they found a DEAD ANIMAL in the attic of the home, causing the smell.- There was no apology for this. The smell implied no one had been in the home for several days before our stay (to clean, etc), or they would have smelled it also.- We were not offered a refund in return for this unpleasantness. The host offered a free late check out, but since we didn't need it we asked for a refund equal to the amount of the late check out fee instead. We were told we would get it but now the host will not respond to us and the property management has been very rude on the phone.- The property itself is very old and dirty, we found hairs in the shower and dead bugs on the window sills, implying no one had cleaned it. - The driveway is very steep and the concrete is broken (which isn't mentioned in the description and may be very hard for smaller cars/in the winter)- There is a taxidermy bird in the main living area, if that is something that makes you uncomfortable.We understand that we paid for an old house and homes in the woods may have issues, but we do not recommend this.
