Welcome to the charming Victorian Gem on Broughton Upper, nestled in the heart of Savannah's Historic District. This delightful two-bedroom home exudes Victorian charm and boasts excellent curb appeal, all while being just steps away from Savannah's finest attractions. Immerse yourself in the essence of the city as you relax on the quintessential large Southern porch, offering the perfect vantage point to soak in the passing day.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a welcoming foyer that leads you upstairs to the second floor, where your home away from home awaits. Step inside to discover a tastefully decorated living space, complete with cozy seating, a flatscreen television, and an original decorative fireplace that adds a touch of character to the home.

Adjoining the living space is the inviting formal dining room and an open connection to the kitchen. The designated chef of the family will appreciate the convenience of a gas stove and ample counter space, allowing for enjoyable meal preparations.

At the rear of the house, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms, one king bed and one queen bed, each boasting its own ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms are furnished with plush beds and offer generous closet space. For your convenience, a washer and dryer are conveniently located between the two rooms.

Victorian Home---Upper

Reviewer Comments: I would like to have been able to access the property from the back of the house since that is where the parking is. There was a sign with a rope saying do not use the spiral staircase. Also, the other renters had 2 cars making it hard to fit in the parking spot.

The unit is spacious, comfortable and well stocked, and is just off the central (tourist) section of the historical district. The porch off the front, despite having to stoop low to get through the window, was nice to sit out on at night. Only minor complaint was that the internet is a little slower than we are used to.The property management team was very nice and very responsive.We definitely would return here.

Savannah 1st Stay

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the place we stayed was very nice, well decorated, and had almost all amenities needed. I would suggest to have more than one kitchen towel, also some coasters, and table placemats. The place was cozy. There was one night the air conditioner was not working and the temperature got as high as 83 degrees, it was not a comfortable night. I did call and they send someone to fixed the problem the next morning. Would like some compensation for this, as there was no follow up from Lucky Savannah.

Very convenient

We found the apartment to be very close to everything in the historic district. Within walking distance to River front, shops, museums, and dining. This is a second-floor apartment, so be prepared to use the stairs multiple times a day if you travel with a pet.

A very hot getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All good. Very clean and nice. The beds were comfy. I did find a pill in a drawer and a fake fingernail on the floor. One leg was broken on a chair in the bedroom. Thankfully I didn't sit on it.We had some problem with the code on the back door.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was just as described and pictured. The decor had a great vintage feel to go with the historic district vibe we were expecting. It is a close walk to parks and River Street. /However, we did not realize that it is located on a high traffic street and at a corner with a traffic light. Allot of street noise! The back staircase to the upper floor is a narrow, 1.spiral climb. We did not feel safe using it. If you choose this property, travel light. Climbing the front stairs with luggage, coolers, etc., was a bit too much for us.

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful 4 nights and enjoyed the property and its location, but feel that the kitchen was not adequately stocked with glassware (only 2 wine glasses), plates (had to wash them after each meal), utensils and tools (for example measuring spoons, tongs). Also, there was no ice bucket to catch ice from the ice maker in the freezer.

Perfect location … property is a bit worn

The property was very clean and everything functioned as it should (heat and air, hot water, comfy beds). The location is perfect, we walked everywhere. Accessibility was challenging, the spiral stairs at the back of the unit made it difficult to bring in your luggage. There’s stairs at the front as well but you have you walk to the end of the block and walk around to get access. Once in the unit it feels very worn compared to the pictures. The wallpaper border on the bathroom was falling off, it looked like a pet scratched at the door jam and it was just painted over. The decor felt like they went to a thrift store and just grabbed miscellaneous items and threw them together. We enjoyed sitting in the porch but again the chairs were stained and worn. If we return to Savannah, we will stay in the same area but look for a different property.
