Lakefront home on Ossipee Lake with dock and gorgeous views

Newly renovated home on the water, perfect for families with kids! Enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets on the dock, watching the loons and bald eagle family go by. Close the day at the fire pit after enjoying a day of fun in the water. New outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the front yard, and plenty of water toys for all ages to enjoy.

Minutes from Indian Mound golf course, and 40 minutes to hiking, skiing and shopping in North Conway, the Saco river and surrounding resorts. Great spot for fall getaways to enjoy the changing colors of the White Mountains and ski trips in the winter!

The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, central heat and A/C, a cozy kitchen, and plenty of space for your family to spread out. Gas grill outside. New water well with filtration installed in 2022.

Our house is down a long bumpy dirt road through the woods to the waterfront. It is plowed during the winter, but not maintained like a public road. The property is not shoveled out during storms, so clearing the steps and areas where it is not plowed would be your responsibility.

Beautiful Sanctuary

Very relaxing and comfortable home with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great kitchen. If you are a bird lover you will love kayaking through the bird sanctuaries along the river.

A great place to stay!

Traveled up to NH for some hiking and time around the bonfire and Doug's place was absolutely the perfect spot for all of these activities. Highly recommend for when you're traveling with a big group!

This property has it all: more than enough chairs for soaking in great views from the sandy backyard, boats for paddling the lake, easy access to the water, plenty of indoor gathering space, too.

Beautiful spot

I absolutely loved my time at this location, even with a few cloudy days. The lakefront property felt like oceanfront in the sense there is ample natural sand and the lake itself is crystal clear with a sandy bottom. The dock is super high quality and perfect to relax while watching the kids swim in shallow, clear water. The house itself was very clean and accommodated 4 adults and five kids very easily. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. There is a grocery store (Hannaford’s) nearby and an Ocean State Job Lot for any forgotten groceries or beach essentials. The only “downside” were a few non-venomous sightings along the periphery of the property, likely due to a neighboring pond. They are harmless and stay away from people but was notable nonetheless. I would absolutely stay here again and appreciate the. C”communication with the host. We have stayed at lots of different lake rentals in NH over the years and I would definitely give this place 5/5 stars!

Wonderful Stay

Lakefront home with dock, beautiful beach, and fire pit. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. Barbecue grill and well-stocked kitchen. Peaceful, beautiful view, and bald eagle sightings. Owner was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful lakeside vacation home

We had a wonderful vacation with our family. The lakefront home offered a beautiful beach, dock, swimming area, & gorgeous sunsets. We even had daily bald eagle sightings. The home had plenty of space for both kids and adults to relax. It was the perfect place to make memories with our family.

A wonderful weekend and magical spot

We had an incredible weekend on Lake Ossipee. Beautiful views from the house and overall a well appointed property - it was easy to enjoy the outdoor space, well-stocked kitchen and a ready to use grill- these were a few of the things that made our party of 8 (6 adults, 2 children) very comfortable for the weekend! We would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful week on Ossipee Lake. Doug's house was perfect, providing everything we needed and extremely clean. The location and views were amazing. Doug was super easy to communicate with and made sure our week was stress free. The best spot on the lake, we can't wait to go back!

Perfect lake week

Excellent property, perfect location, great amenities. Nice dock for our rental pontoon boat. Enough room in cottage for the eight of us. Beautiful sunsets. Bald eagle sightings daily. Felt great to exhale for a week and relax!

Wonderful stay for a ski weekend with friends and kids. House fit 12 perfectly with room to spread out. Coffee facing the lake made for a perfect morning while kids slept in. Any questions were promptly answered by host. Great location, close to several good restaurants, ski and winter activities.

Family Christmas 2023

We had an amazing family Christmas! Property was perfect. Plenty of space, more than enough linens, blankets and towels and a great play room for our "little's". The view as stunning. This home offered one of the best stocked kitchens with plenty of pots and pans, silverware, dinnerware, glasses. Owner was great to communicate with - a 10 out of 10 stay for us! We will be back.

Very relaxing

This was a great location this time of the year! Absolutely beautiful right on the lake. The cleanliness of the property left a bit to be desired as far as sweeping and other basic things. This had WAY more space than we needed which was great and my son loved the toys. All of the NH decor and lake vibes were perfect for the backdrop outside. The front door entrance was a little difficult as we think it needs new batteries. Perfect distance from main roads and businesses.

Great property!

The owners were delightful! They sent a very descriptive email, prior to our stay, telling us about the property, the amenities, etc. The house was perfectly clean and had tons of room to spread out. The bedrooms were really large and the owners provided plenty of fresh linens, towels and the like. The water was right out the back door and the beach was set up with plenty of seating areas, a hammock, a fire pit overlooking the lake. Our family of 8 spent almost all of our time outside during the day and playing games in the huge living room at night. My only regret is that we couldn’t find time to stay longer!!! We would love to come for a longer stay next year!

Beautiful Vacation Home

The rental is perfectly set up for 2 families to have a great vacation. Sandy beach with fire pit. The kids had fun on the floating mat. Along with a shed full of inflatables, there were tow-able tubes that we used with our jets skis. We used the paddle-boards on the mirror flat lake in the mornings. They also had kayaks, a canoe and row boats available. The well appointed kitchen along with a new Weber grill outside made dining in easy. We were just a family of four, seating for dinner could be a tight if you have all the beds filled. We found ourselves hurrying back from hiking or other activities because we wanted to spend more time at the house. Overall, it was a great vacation and we highly recommend it.

Amazing lakefront retreat

Perfect location for a long weekend with friends. Plenty of space, abundant water equipment and fabulous fire pit. Last house on the road so stay was very peaceful. House had all the amenities of home, very comfortable and nooks provided quiet areas for reading. Beds and bedding comfortable and plentiful. Host communications excellent - would not hesitate to rent again.
