We stayed in the O Sole Mio Studio. The views were absolutely stunning but, the apartment had issues that detracted from our stay. Madalina was very kind and met us upon our arrival to take us to the apartment. It requires a walk down a large set of stairs, then a climb up a steep set of stairs to reach the apartment. This is not unusual but something to keep in mind if someone in your party has special needs or health issues. Madalina showed us how to operate everything - which is quite hi-tech, as the place has been redone. In the morning, we woke to no hot water. We were unable to reach her but, later, received an email explaining how to turn the hot water heater back on, which required us to enter the apartment next door (which fortunately was empty) going out onto the balcony and pushing a button. How would we ever have known that? The next night - the heater did not work. Since we were visiting at the end of November, the apartment was freezing. When we told Marina's husband the next day - on our departure - he replied that it sometimes happened. In fairness to him, there was a language barrier, but it did not seem like he believed it was that big a deal.
Had it been summer, these issues would not have seemed such a big deal since we could have handled a cold shower and no heat. The studio was pristine and well decorated with truly spectacular views from the balcony. But, they need to work out the bugs in the equipment, especially since the price was somewhat high for the size of the apartment.
