L'odeur de l'océan et de l'air salin venteux vous accueille dans les villes de Gouldsboro, Corea et Winter Harbour situées sur la péninsule Schoodic. La communauté offre aux visiteurs un littoral spectaculaire et résume des vues panoramiques à travers certaines parties du parc national d'Acadia. Plusieurs villages et ports pittoresques offrent un aperçu des fronts de mer en activité, de la pêche au homard à la voile. La communauté calme et paisible brille avec plusieurs restaurants, des excursions en kayak, des concerts mensuels, des dîners au homard, des antiquités, une fonderie de cloches et de la poterie, des boutiques d'art, d'artisanat et de menuiserie. Visitez et profitez des levers de soleil relaxants et de certains des couchers de soleil les plus remarquables. L'Acadie ouvre de nouveaux sentiers à Winter Harbor,
8. 5 miles de nouvelles pistes cyclables et 4 miles de nouveaux sentiers de randonnée.
Le parking se trouve sur Schoodic Loop Road, à environ 1,6 km au sud de la route 186 à Winter Harbour. Un stationnement par satellite sera disponible au Masonic Lodge et au bureau municipal de Winter Harbour sur la rue School à Winter Harbour.
Les semaines de location se déroulent du samedi au samedi. L'enregistrement a lieu à 15 h le samedi et le départ à 11 h le samedi suivant. Les séjours plus courts ou plus longs sont les bienvenus tant qu'ils n'interfèrent pas avec les autres clients réservant leurs semaines du samedi au samedi. A secluded paradise!

Our family had such a memorable time while staying at this house. We drove the hour long drive to Acadia Nat’l Park/Bar Harbor area twice even though our young adult sons would have been happy to meet the days high tide on the bay in the kayaks. The views at Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula and from the living area in the house were all beautiful. Phil and Kim were great and we would love to stay here again!

Beautiful view from back porch! A fantastic place for a family vacation with kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and fire pit! Great spot for fresh seafood also!!

Amazing family vacation!

Overall loved this property. We enjoyed being near Acadia but far enough away to be away from the crowds. Drive into Acadia wasn't bad, and the ferry from winter harbor to bar harbor was also easy and enjoyable! The property is on the water so make sure to bring mosquito spray and warm clothes as the evenings got cold but enjoyable.

Fantastic Property and Great Owner!

My family and I spent a week in this quiet home right on a bay. We enjoyed fires by the water, the beautiful accommodations and very responsive owner. We were thrilled with the property and my wife and I agreed that it was one of the more relaxing vacations we have ever had. My 7 year old loved it too.

Great Marsh Bay Spectacular!

Awesome house…Eagles, Osprey, so many other birds. We Kayaked, Hiked, Biked, and Just Hung out on the amazing porch. Definitely will be back!

Great place

The house and setting were beautiful. Fun kayaking and biking. Easy to get to Bar Harbor. Glad we stayed away from the crowds. Stayed 2 weeks and wish we could stay 2 more. Hope to come back. thanks Phil and Kim

Lovely home great location

A group of 6 women spent 6 days enjoying home, great location, scenic view from living area. Close to many short day trips. With the three washrooms and plenty of sleeping rooms we were very comfortable. Owner very responsive to our needs, home clean and fully stocked, great fire pit, canoes and kayaks. Very pleased with our choice.

You will not be disappointed!

This is a great peaceful secluded setting away from it all yet close to a neat little town of Winter Harbor and the "other" Acadia less crowded with great hiking and beautiful scenery. The owners are very accommodating. Very clean and well kept.

Beautiful getaway

This property was perfect for peaceful, relaxing time away with the family. The house is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The hosts provided everything you could need for your stay. They checked in with us the day of arrival and next morning and were always prompt with any responses. There was a nice variety of kayaks amd canoes, as well as life vests in varyihg sizes. We enjoyed being out on the water when the tide was in. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it!

Beautiful home

Home was clean and nicely decorated. Furniture was clean and in good condition. 4 stars for listing accuracy because the high chair wasn't in the house. The owner promptly got it for us once requested and we felt the access for kayaking was difficult. The kayaks were in the yard and there were no stairs or dock leading from the yard to the bay, just a steep path with large loose stones. Nice outdoor area but mosquitoes were bad so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Very nice grill on deck. Kitchen and baths were well stocked.

Real Maine

Super well appointed house at the end of long access way. Nice and secluded, but everything you could possibly need is provided. Access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park is easy enough. A local ferry is also convenient for passengers. Grindstone Golf course is quite scenic, and local seafood is excellent. There is even a street side pie stand up the street. Homeowners are completes pros and easy to work with. This place is a winner.

Maine Vacation

Wonderful new house right on the water! The extreme tides on the bay were truly an amazing sight. Kayaks were appreciated by all and well used. Nice big kitchen/dining/living area. We loved the porches for relaxing and viewing the waterfront. Owner was very quick to respond to a faulty ice maker, and Mr. Adams had it fixed ASAP. Beautiful clean home, and thanks again for a great vacation week.

Generous Owners & Restorative Vacation

Our family enjoyed the owner's helpful and generous hospitality! They share their gorgeous home, its contents and their fleet of kayaks and canoes with those who rest here. The ocean bay views are calming, the home is extremely comfortable and beautiful, and you are able to relax in the quiet peace of this property. It's so close to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia (stunningly beautiful) and day trips to the larger part of Acadia (Sand Beech, hikes, Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole and more) as well as to Bar Harbor were easy and a gorgeous drive. If we didn't live so far away, we'd gladly stay here every year :) Thank you, thank you!

One of Our Favorites

This was our second time staying at Mud Flat Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful & is in immaculate condition. The location is perfect, far enough away from the crowds at Bar Harbor, but still close enough for a day trip...especially if you take the Winter Harbor Ferry. Perfect location near Schoodic! The house is in such a beautiful setting & feels like a resort with fishing, kayaks, & fire pit, that you will just want to stay at the house and relax. We will definitely be back again! This property has been in my wife's family since 1964. It has been a place where her family vacationed during the summers and enjoyed the local wildlife and seashore. Great for bird watching. Close to Schoodic National Park. And a short drive to Bar Harbor or take the Winter Harbor Ferry for a fun cruise! We have been offering our home on HomeAway for the last few years and the people that stay here say they have had an experience of a lifetime. There are deer, rabbits and numerous wildlife sightings each day. See Birch Harbor, Winter Harbor, Prospect Harbor, Corea Beach & Schoodic Point all within 10 minutes of my property!!

629' water frontage on Grand Marsh Bay! With all the amenities of home. Cool ocean breeze and an abundance of wildlife. Its just a beautiful spot. The main level of the house is on the second floor with panoramic views of the water just feet away from the deck. Decorated with a nautical theme through out the home. A great kitchen and combined living , dining area for entertaining the family. Cathedral ceiling in the Kitchen/Living room with large windows on all sides. We have LL Bean Kayaks, Gas grill, outdoor fire ring for wood fires, outside furniture, Lobster pots with steamer kit, Wi-Fi, DirecTV with over 100 channels. All at waters edge.
