Condo in the Highlands walkable to restaurants, bars, and shopping
This condo is in the heart of the popular Highlands neighborhood. Steps away from restaurants, bars, and shops on Baxter Ave and Bardstown Road. We offer two off street parking spaces. One is contained in a gated area and the other is an off street space along the side of the building. This condo is three stories with access to a shared courtyard. Just minutes away from downtown Louisville and Churchill Downs - Home of the Kentucky Derby. Centrally located.
This condo has three floors which is creates a lot of privacy. When you enter the condo on the first floor you walk into the living room/kitchen area. Here you will find air hockey and a Ms. Pac-man arcade game. Also on the first floor is a half bath. The second floor contains 1 bedroom with a king size bed and a full bathroom attached. The second floor also contains the laundry room. On the third floor you will find a bedroom with a queen bed and a full size daybed with a twin trundle and private bathroom. There is a doorbell camera that records audio and video when it is triggered by motion. This will be on during your stay.
Spacious condo in a great location! Many bar and restaurant options within walking distance. Condo was well stocked and communication with host was wonderful!
We enjoyed our stay. The property is centrally located to restaurants and bars. But still quiet enough that you can hang back too. The host was responsive with questions too. Overall we enjoyed our time! Thanks!
Good place for a stay, able to stretch out. We only had two but could easily do 6. Lots of restaurants within waling distance. Quick drive to downtown attractions and the Zoo. We also drove to BurbonFest in Bardstown.
We had a great time on our five night stay. Downtown Louisville and Whiskey Row are easily accessible from the condo. The condo is located in the middle of The Highlands neighborhood. It was nice to have several choices to eat within walking distance.
Fun decor, great location for food and entertainment, and well-stocked. We appreciated the gated entry and gated parking. The place was walkable and Lyft-able to anywhere In Louisville. We are planning a return trip and would stay again. Thank you for being a wonderful host.
Booking, checkin, etc. Was easy. The property was clean. The king si,e bed was so hard and uncomfortable that my husband slept on the couch and I didn't sleep weel. The lication is convenient and close to great bars and restaurants but at night was EXTREMELY loud until 2:30 a.m. then extremely quiet
We were very comfortable in this condo. It was clean and spacious, with everything you need. The neighborhood is great and had some excellent restaurants right across the street. Having a parking space was so convenient.
Great property convenient to local dining and close to downtown. Spacious place, as advertised. Owner communicated quickly and it was a great place to stay for a long weekend of Muhammad Ali experiences as well as the Bourbon Trail. Hope to be back
We loved the place - it's located in a real neighborhood! Walk to restaurants, a short drive to downtown attractions and Churchill Downs. It took us a bit to find the unit, but communication with Laura was great!
We will return!
This property was the perfect location to the Expo Center. We had plenty of space and a washer and dryer to wash basketball uniforms from our weekend tourney. Close to really good restaurants and shops. Kitchen was fully stocked. The traffic noise is pretty loud but there are white noise machines in each bedroom and we use one at home too so wasnât bad for us. We had a good stay and the owner was easy to work with.
The property was exactly as described... great location! Everything was VERY walkable.. O'Shea's across the street had excellent food, service and atmosphere. Whiskey Row and downtown were a quick, easy trip in the car. We also enjoyed walking through Cave Hill Cemetery.
We enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard during the evening. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed with well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The owner was VERY helpful and provided extremely quick responses!
We wanted to go to Churchill Downs (about 5 1/2 miles) and visit the Conrad-Caldwell Home (about 3 1/2 miles). We also wanted to be near restaurants (lots of them on our street). We also had just purchased a new car and was looking for a place with assigned parking. Not only did we have assigned parking, the parking was covered and gated! This place was perfect! Laura was great and answered all of our questions/concerns immediately. We could not have been happier! đđ
The location was as advertised. The check in process was extremely easy and the host replied to communications in a timely manner. Many of the reviews were correct, the neighborhood is pretty loud at night. It did not keep my wife and I awake, but I can see where it may bother some folks. You are within walking distance of several bars and restaurants which is very convienient. It advertises a gated parking space, which it has, but the entrance gate was never closed during our stay. That did not bother me, I was glad to not be on the street, but if I lived there I would be a little irritated the gate was not closed consistently. We would definitely stay here again.
My three sisters and I enjoyed our three nights at Lauraâs place. She was very proactive with communication. There are several codes to know for the parking area and front door, but she explained it clearly.Parking was good with a reserved spot and permit only spot. We did have to use street parking one night because we returned late, but it was only a block away. Very nice area. You do hear bar noise, but nothing more than is described in the listing. Earplugs are provided. Would stay again!
Clean, cozy and great location. We spent most of our time in the day downtown exploring, but came back in the evening to relax. It was nice to be close to downtown, but not in downtown. The provided parking was a huge plus for us. I don't like having to leave our car on the street at nights. Great place to stay!
The condo is very nice and in a great location. Lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance and central to Louisville if you need to drive. We stayed during the week and didn't experience any noise from the neighborhood as others have mentioned.
