Quick trip to Louisville

Great location and perfect for our needs. Our toddler loved the pictures of the horses. The shared courtyard is really cute.

This is a really great place. It did smell a bit, but I'm guessing it's because they allow pets. I burned the candle provided and it was no big deal. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was very secure with lockboxes. My only issue was there really is no front door, so when I ordered an Instacart, they left it at a storefront around the block and I had to try to track it down by photo at night. Luckily I had my dog and it seems to be a safe neighborhood.

We love this property! The house is so nice with great decor! The host is super friendly and helpful. We loved the location and being able to walk to shop and have dinners each night.

Weekend away

Enjoyed our stay! It was a little tricky trying to get into the home, as there were 6 trash cans blocking the entrance upon arrival, but after moving them about we were able to unpack and enjoy our stay. It was great how walkable the restaurants were and appreciated how welcoming many were of our pup. We took the bikes into Louisville and enjoyed seeing the distilleries. If you are going to do the same, I would bring a bike lock from home, since the neighborhoods definitely had some challenges with homeless roaming about. Overall the home met our needs and we really appreciated the quick responsiveness of the host, when needed. The courtyard could use some love, but it was still really nice to have with our dog in tow. Overall had a really good experience.

Great Place

Still a few remodeling items needed but definitely felt like home away from home. Had a phenomenal bakery right around the corner and is a short drive (45 minute walk), to quite a few distilleries!!

Great weekend getaway

Chris's place was perfect for our weekend in Louisville. Everything was exatly as descibed. Great space, comfortable bed, nice kitchen. The garage was a nice feature as well. Overall, a great experience.

Fantastic oasis in the heart of Louisville

Beautiful property with every amenity you’ll need. Great location in a safe, fun neighborhood. Would return any time I was in the area. I personally thought the garage was kinda of greenish rather than yellow, but i loved being able to store the car in the garage.

Perfect Location to downtown

This location was perfect for my family. It was extremely close to downtown which is where we had to be each day during our stay. The host thought of everything it seems. The rental was loaded up with all the supplies we needed. It was a great quiet location which is just what we needed for our stay. We are so glad we found this place.

A perfect spot in Louisville

We found Chris’s property easily, and found that everywhere we wanted to go in the city was within an easy 10-15 drive from the property. There’s a super cute cafe/catering operation on the same block, so bonus delicious breakfast options. Garage parking felt luxurious for these city-dwellers and we’d be happy to stay again.

Amazing place

This place is so fun and has some great small but memorable amenities! It was perfect for a family of 4 and 1 dog. Great location with a dog park and plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. This was our first time in Kentucky and we can’t get over how love it was and how much there is to see and so just in Louisville alone! The fire pit is a great plus, I just wish there was a table and chairs out there to sit and eat after grilling out. We did so many great things and if we ever come back to this area will definitely stay again!!

We Loved The Bungalow!

This is a beautiful property that had absolutely everything we needed and more! Chris Is an amazing host. We traveled on our motorcycles so the garage was a huge bonus for us though not necessary given it’s a wonderful neighborhood. Since we were limited on space Chris was gracious enough to let me mail my Kentucky Derby hat down to him and it was at the property upon arrival. We were especially thankful of the complimentary bourbon he had left for us after such a long trip too! Having Roku and TV’s for every sleeping area and headphones to connect to the tv’s was wonderful for our group being it was my husband and I and 2 friends so everyone could enjoy their own show at bedtime if they had wanted. It was very hot during our stay and the air conditioner works amazingly. The courtyard is shared but I can assure you both residents are very nice and truth be told we rarely saw them. Every bed is extremely comfortable and we all slept like babies. We have used VRBO many times in the past and have not come across one we haven’t liked but this one was by far the best one we’ve stayed at. We were in town for the week for the National Convention for the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association®. We encountered many members who chose to not stay at the host hotels and to stay at different properties throughout the city, a lot of them were not happy with their accommodations. We couldn’t have been more pleased! If you need a place to stay in Louisville I highly recommend this property.

Lovely property in a great neighborhood - walk to bars and restaurants!! Bonus fantastic bakery just around the corner! Chris was very responsive and made sure our stay was perfect. Directions and check-in were clear and easy to follow. I would recommend Chris’ property to anyone looking for a nicely-equipped centrally located vacation rental. PS: there’s a garage!!

Our stay was excellent, except for the interruption of our truck being broken into in the church parking lot across the street. Absalutely nothing to do with the accomidations. It is a very charming little retreat and having the added security of the garage for our classic muscle car was perfect.

Great place overall

Perfect place for my daughter and I during our stay. Loved having the garage to park in, beds were comfortable, and there was everything else we needed. Also took advantage of the bikes to explore the area.

I’ve always had a passion for real estate and travel, and this property is a reflection of both. When I came across this amazing space, I knew I wanted to design it with travelers in mind. As someone with a large family of six (plus pets!), I understand what makes a stay comfortable and memorable. We travel often and stay at VRBOs, so when creating this space, I enlisted my kids to help brainstorm what works best for guests of all ages.
