The air conditioning was great and the pool was very nice. When we arrived the person who oversees the cleaning had obviously not checked our place. I contacted management and it was cleaned up immediately. We had a great time!

Loved the location. The only thing that was extremely disappointing was how dirty the house was. We spent a couple of hours cleaning the kitchen. The walls and cabinets were filthy. The view was beautiful although the windows were so bad. There was an odor in the home that was not very pleasant. We did get a carpet powder that we did apply and vacuum, which did help a bit. Have stayed on the island 42 times and do understand that things get old but old and clean are different from what we experienced.

We especially appreciated the large patio looking out toward the ocean, the pool for the kids, and the adjacent beach. Overall the property was very well maintained. The only disappointment was that the clothes drier was in extremely poor shape, The was a little thing that made a big impression, particularly given that we dried a lot of towels during our stay.

We loved it!

Three of my sisters and I stayed for 4 nights. We had a wonderful stay. The condo is exactly as advertised. All rooms were clean and the entire place is so spacious. The grounds were well kept, the pool/hot tub area was easy to access and tidy. The beach is steps away! We were so pleased with everything…cannot recommend enough!

Family trip.

We have ownership in a 1 bedroom condo in Kaanapali but wanted to come with our grandkids and all stay in one place! This is a great 3 bedroom with nice amenities and a super great pool for our grandkids 4/6 year olds. Just steps from the front door and nice access to the beach.

Amazing stay!

I recommend strongly this rental, amazing location, oceanviews and neighborhood. Kids spent their time in the pool and the beach when we were not outside visiting the island. We found everything we needed for our stay, and more! If you’re looking to be on the West side of Maui, this is the place to be. We were two families of 4 with children from 4-8 years old, pool super safe as only 3ft deep!

Great accommodations. We were a party of 6 and plenty of space inside. Beds were comfy. Loved outdoor seating area. Had a problem with fridge on day 1 , but they responded right away and corrected the problem. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Sandy beach in front of condo, good place to boogie board. Would stay here again.

Hot tub heater out of order 4 of the 7 days we were there. Wind 25+ MPH and large surf made snorkeling difficult, but that’s luck of the draw when you plan months in advance. Still found some fun places to snorkel and swim.

Nice Location

Aloha Jim, Our listing clearly states that there are 3 bedrooms, one with a king that can be set up as twins, and the other two bedrooms have queen beds. The condo also has a sofa sleeper. We are sorry to hear that you had an uncomfortable stay with us and that you feel the description does not clearly define the sleeping arrangements. Kahana stay

As advertised. Location was great. Kitchen well stocked with incidentals and spices. Very clean, beautiful view. Just wish they were a little flexible about early check in or later check out during off season. Many units were empty and would have loved another hour for leisurely check out. But we had a great time.

Aloha Jan, We always do our best to give early and late checkouts if you ask ahead of time so we can make arrangements for everyones schedules, but due to the holiday season, that is not always the case. We are privately owned, so we are no apart of the rental association at the resort. Just because they have openings, that is not always the case for us. It was a pleasure to have you as our guests, and we no hope to see you again.

Management company was terrible and basically lied to us. Pool heat pump was broken and the pool was ice cold and they said it was due to the storm…but the pool guy and an owner of a unit told us it had been broken for a while. Then they said there was no property manager for the complex and they didn’t know anything about it. We were there for 9 days without them communicating with us and a cold pool. We asked for a 1 day refund and we would leave, but they refused. We had an infant and an adult with a health issue and specifically rented this unit for the heated pool close to the unit and we were unable to use it for the 9 days we were there. Very unprofessional rental company.

We would like to clarify that some details in this review are not accurate. During the stay, our area experienced a significant storm that caused a property-wide power outage for two days. As a result, the pool heater and pumps were temporarily down due to the loss of power — an issue that was weather-related and outside of our control. We responded promptly to all calls and emails and worked to get updates on restoration as quickly as possible. The guest completed the full stay and did not request to depart early. After checkout, a refund was requested, followed by a credit card dispute and a platform review, both of which were resolved after documentation was provided. We understand that unexpected weather events can be frustrating, but we remain committed to clear communication and maintaining our property to a high standard for all guests.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kahana Village is an amazing place to stay. It's exactly how I imagined a beachfront condo in Maui should be. Steps away from the pool and a few more steps to the ocean. We saw plenty of sea turtles right on our beach! Everything we needed, including beach towels and chairs. AC was nice and cool. In-suite laundry was really helpful, the only minor complaint is that the dryer was very noisy. Would totally stay here again! Property manager was awesome!

A week in Maui -- July, 2024

Can't get closer to the water. Were initially disappointed because we couldn't reserve an "ocean front" unit -- but this unit has a view of the pool, then the ocean behind it. Perfect! Great location, convenient to stores and restaurants. Not at a huge resort -- so no long walks or elevators -- the ocean is right there. Accommodations were very comfortable for our family of 5. Full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. A/C worked great, ceiling fans in every room. Great lanai for dining/relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this location! As frequent visitors to the islands, this was our favorite location. The grounds are well-maintained and intimate, the location quiet, and the proximity to everything we love is perfect. The unit is well maintained, though a few things are a little tired. We'd love it if the master bedroom were a king bed and a little softer bed. It's time to replace the carpets too. Other than these few items, we'd stay again for certain!
