Relax with that someone special in this comfortable suite with its king sized bed, 2 person shower, and spacious tub. It has a nicely equipped galley style kitchen with a full size fridge, range, and microwave. We recently added a washer and dryer to the unit for your convenience. The deck overlooks our timberland backyard, equipped with a gas grill. The living room has a full sized sofa sleeper and 55 inch Smart TV.
We tried VRBO because it boasts privacy. No other people are supposed to be on the property. Some upstairs tenants woke us up at 4:15 am. It sounded like they were moving furniture. There was an odd smell as soon as we walked in. Here is a list of what else was wrong:1 Used yogurt lid and spoon left outside on a chair2. Dirty sheets in a laundry hamper3. Expired open food in the fridge4. Bathroom door doesn't stay locked5. The floor is filthy. Our feet were black after walking on them6. The bed was very loud and squeaky with the smallest movement7. Empty paper towel rolls and no refills8. The coffee creamer provided had expired and was sour9. Dirty drawers, we found what looked to be fake, used eyelashes, and dead bugs10. A stained blanket on the couch11. The parking and walk to the suite were dangerous. My wife almost fell several times.12. The grill had caked-on food and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long timeI don't understand where the other reviews came from, but this was the worst rental we have ever used
Set in a nice community in the mountains near a golf course. Well-appointed throughout the property. I especially appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen, BBQ and utensils, bath, and washer and dryer (though washer was quite noisy). There is a nice deck amongst the pines where you can BBQ, a dining table shaded by upper rental's deck, and an area clear to the sun with chairs to kick your feet up. Large couch and TV; very comfy King-sized bed; hardwood floors; dining room; etc... I would definitely come back when in the area instead of staying at Twin Pines casino. Parking is a little tight.
I stayed over Christmas with my pup. It was a really large space for the two of us. I like the location, quiet and rural. There aren't any street lamps so once the sun goes down, it's pitch black. Would suggest bringing a headlamp for those with a dog.
Place was as advertised and was comfortable and had everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Loved the patio area that came with a bbq grill. Great to place to relax!
A nice quiet property with all the amenities you need. Check in was seamless and everything was available and in great condition. Would come back again
Downstairs apartment was lovely. Quiet, amazing big deck, roomy shower, comfortable big bed. Tried the tub but never got the water to warm up⊠but not s problem in the heat of August! Worried about the tight parking, but it turned out that the other renters were my brother and his wife, that was awesome! (We only knew we were on the same streetâŠ) Coffee on thd deck with the pine trees was perfect.
Overall our stay was great. Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. The individual ac units were very helpful.
Wished there had been some hooks in the bathroom. The shower was nice with all the shower heads but it needs a light in it. Very dark in the shower.
This place has everything you need. Very clean!! Comfortable bed and linens. Clean bathroom w/ great double shower heads and tub. Beautiful balcony w/ view overlooking the trees and night sky! Kitchen is great/equipped with all the essentials. We stayed during a heat wave; A/C units worked great. Unit appears to be newly renovated. Property manager was easy to reach and very communicative. Fairly priced. Would highly recommend and stay again!
My husband and I spent the weekend at Cobb Mountain, and it was exactly what we needed. The unit was new, clean, and well equipped. We bought food from out of town and were able to bbq on the large deck overlooking an expansive wooded area in the backyard. Our small dogs also enjoyed the deck. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We enjoyed our weekend stay at this lovely, quiet location. Specific highlights include the great shower, the large and comfortable bed, the sizable deck with a forest-view, and easy travel distance to Harbin Hot Springs.
First off this was my 3rd stay. The lay out is cool i enjoyed the warmth of the bathroom. The large bedroom and the large tv. the kitchen has a nice layout and everthing you need to cook with.I will be going back soon.
We only stayed for one night, but the place is great. Nice view in the woods, very clean, open common space. Hosts were communicative. The street parking situation is not ideal (especially on a rainy night) but it's not bad.
Raised in the SF Bay Area, I have always loved the natural beauty that surrounds us. We are perfectly situated near the coast, mountains, and lakes , for a reasonable drive to some of the greatest destinations anywhere. One member of my family has food allergies, so I understand the importance of having access to a kitchen to prepare meals myself and not take the chance that our vacation is cut short because of cross contamination at a restaurant. Providing a nice home for your enjoyment with the necessities for a comfortable stay has been both fulfilling and rewarding.
The neighborhood is tranquil and serene. The Chalet is a few minutes away from Adams Springs Golf Course which offers a stunning new restaurant and bar. Six minutes away is Mountain High coffee shop and bookstore, (a locally owned and operated coffee nirvana) Hardesterâs Market (a local gourmet grocery store) and Brick Oven (a delicious pasta and pizza bistro.). You feel as if you have gotten away from it all, but not so far that you don't have access to conveniences you take for granted.
Cobb Mountain sits atop Lake County, CA which borders the Napa Valley, the most premier wine growing region in California. It is 20 minutes away from Middletown, home of Harbin Hot Springs Retreat Center and the same distance to Clear Lake, the largest freshwater lake entirely in CA.
