The Well House with outdoor seating and loft!

This comfortable cottage is an awesome place to have some quiet, privacy and fun together. It is surrounded by a privacy fence, from my home. The bedroom area is new, and connected by a porch to an older bathroom and kitchen. You can recline in the double recliner leather love-seat and watch a movie on the flat screen television and walk to the stores and restaurants. Three miles from Harbin Hot Springs, and a 20' drive to Calistoga. All races, folks, and LGBT friendly.

This cottage is right in Middletown. I created it for my teenage sons to have a place to get away from mom in. Many good times have been had here... The space is cozy, comfortable and has high airy ceilings. I live next door, behind a privacy fence, so am available if you need anything, but, as with my sons, I plan to give you your privacy. The building has three parts, the main bedroom and living area, with a porch that connects to the bathroom and kitchen area.

There is a porch connecting the bedroom and living area to the kitchen and bathroom building. I provide two robes to keep you warm on the way, unless you want to walk naked across the porch in the night to pee, (which is what I would do)! There is a kitchen with a refrigerator, range, sink, and hot water for your use. This is a simple kitchen, not a big culinary one.

Please note, that the kitchen and bathroom can be chilly in the winter. I provide a space heater but ask that you do not leave it running when you are not there as it burns electricity and is just not worth it for a two minute pee! If this is too much for you, please rent one of my other places with nice warm bathrooms, The Emerald Lodge, The Love Shack, The Garden House and the Riverbed House. All of those have nice new, warm bathrooms! For the best kitchen, the Emerald Lodge, Garden House, or Rivberbed House.

You will be right in Middletown just a five minute walk to La Parilla, Mountain High Coffee, and the delicious Thai restaurant. 20' to Calistoga and the head of Napa Valley. This is a great place to stay if you want to pay less than Napa/Calistoga prices while you go wine tasting, or visit Harbin Hot Springs! or are just passing through and need a sweet place to sleep for the night.

I have installed a large flat screen TV with WiFi for you to stream from your personal devices.

On the kitchen/bath side, there is a full size refrigerator, full size range, sink with hot water, microwave and a water pot for you to use. There is a second room with a hot shower and toilet.

The downstairs mattress is a new, memory foam queen-size bed as is the upper one in the loft.
We welcome fun and funky people, LGBT, gay, straight, meditative folks, yoga practitioners, light workers, construction workers, and people of all genres however unique or mainstream.

I lost my home in the Valley Fire, and along with many other folks in the area, and just moved into my own new house next door, and I am soooo happy, especially now that Harbin is open!

This is right in Middletown, so, you can walk to the restaurants and walk home again. Easy drive to many hiking trails, and 15' to Calistoga and Napa Valley

Middletown is recovering from the Valley Fire two years ago, and it is now a vibrant community. While small, we have 3 Mexican food spots, a Thai restaurant, the casino with its' restaurant Harbin Hot Springs, and many other activities nearby. Calistoga with its' many restaurants is a 15' drive, as well as the head of Napa Valley with all its' wineries. There are wonderful hiking trails 15' up the mountain including Robert Louis Stevenson Park or the Palisades trail all the way to Calistoga! Harbin Hot Springs is amazing as always, and world class mountain biking.

It is totally enjoyable to walk around Middletown, pet the horses, say hi to my goats, and get some food at the new Hardester's Market.

The bathroom and kitchen are connected through an outdoor covered porch! The sleeping/living area is newly built and well insulated, with nice light and very comfortable. The building that houses the bathroom and kitchen is an old well house so has some delicacies, such as, a 5 gallon water heater, which means, no long showers! If you want a warm, connected, kitchen and bathroom, please book one of my other places. The Love Shack, The Garden House, and the Emerald Cottage.

If you have a friend coming, the Well House is situated across the yard from the Love Shack and perfect for two couples wanting to stay close, but have private space. The Garden shed is on the other side of my house, so two lots away. The Riverbed House is also right next door if you want to book a larger group and one couple wants a private space.

When you are in the bathroom and kitchen, you may hear the well pump when it turns on.
