Enter through the foyer and head upstairs to the second floor, where the living room welcomes you with a polished fireplace, stylish furnishings, and a warm, open feel. The fully equipped kitchen boasts upgraded appliances, granite countertops, a Keurig coffee maker, and a breakfast bar for two. The adjacent dining area seats six, perfect for family meals.

Both bedrooms are located on the second floor: a king suite and a versatile queen + two twin room, along with two full bathrooms and an in-home washer/dryer. The rooftop patio is the crown jewel — complete with a grill, al fresco dining area, fire pit, and panoramic ocean views. It's the ultimate spot for morning coffee, sunset cocktails, or stargazing by the fire.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The house was very clean, very spacious, and we loved everything about it. Location being so close to the beach was perfect. :) There are stairs to get to each level of the home so just keep in mind for anyone who may have troubles with that. We didn’t mind. The garage fit our Chevy traverse just fine and it was long to leave room in the back to unload and reload easily. Would definitely come back to this property. No complaints at all. 10/10

Wonderful Stay

I had a wonderful stay at the Dover Vistas. The dedicated parking space was a great convenience, and the home was clean and well-stocked, making it feel very welcoming.I absolutely loved and appreciated the option of having groceries delivered and, get this, put away before we arrived! This feature saved me hours of preparation.It's worth noting that there are a lot of stairs at this property, and the host does a great job of making guests aware of that prior to booking. the thoughtful check-in process was also much appreciated.Overall, this was one of the best VBRO experiences I’ve had to date, and I would love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!

Great vacation

The property is perfect to experience Mission and Pacific beach. Walking to restaurants, shops, etc. is easy. It is well stocked, clean, and well laid out. The roof top deck is great for watching the sunset, and enjoying the weather. The second bedroom is advertised as a queen, but it is actually a double. Other than that we lived this property.

Like being in our own home

We had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed for the beach and for cooking for a family. We enjoyed riding the bikes and taking literally a two minute walk onto the beach every morning. If you go toward the road there is a sweet coffee place and super reasonable deli and market within two minutes as well. The beds were very comfortable; the kids said the bunk beds were a little hard but the queen bed in that room was fine. Wonderful trip and we would stay there again.

House was beautiful, easy to get to, beach a block away, beach supplies were a plus! Top floor deck was nice. Single car garage for parking, a must in that area, Our host checked on us twice a day to make sure we were enjoying ourselves or if anything was needed. We would diffidently rent again.

Great lay out in living room for watching tv and relaxing, nice upper patio deck with view of beach. Comfortable bed. Spacious primary bathroom. Great location. 3 levels of floors was good exercise. Loved the place.

Spring Break

Wonderful place with a beautiful layout very modern and inviting with close proximity. Parking is always tight in homes like these but love that there was a single garage and not a shared one. Would stay here again.

Great vacation home

The condo was very clean, well maintained and in a good neighborhood. The roof top deck was amazing. Only issue we found is that the listing said a hot tub was provided, but there actually wasn't a hot tub at the property. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, but a sign said it was not operational when we arrived.

Excellent start to 2024

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The only thing I would say was a bit surprising and a little annoying was the narrowness of the garage. I would have driven a smaller car had I known our car would not fit without the hazard of hitting the doors on the wall. It might be helpful to let people know the photo is not a distortion but is the actual size of the garage. Narrow and long.

Great home

My family & I really enjoyed our stay on Dover. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The home is the perfect location for our family and we are very familiar with the neighborhood and chose this home for that reason. It's within walking distance to places to eat as well as Belmont park. Now as great as it was I don't know if we will stay again do to that fact the garage is very narrow! Our SUV ( Chevy Traverse ) would not fit and is less than the measurements listed. This garage could possibly fit a very small SUV such as a Ford Escape or smaller and that may be pushing it. It's very long and spacious other wise but mid to large SUV's don't attempt it. We had to park sometimes a mile away during our stay which was not convenient and put a slight damper on our stay as we had little kids with us. This home also has a lot of stairs basically three stories so for families or people with disabilities that's something to keep in mind. The beds are very comfy and the places was sparkling clean! Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home with us.

Nearly perfect

Family of 4 with a 5 and 3yo. The location is great. About 6 houses from the beach, and 8 to the bay side. It's also in walking distance to Belmont Park, which offered a variety of food and fun things for us to do with our kids. The interior of the house was nice and it was equipped with most things we would need. Kitchen was appropriately stocked, including plastic plates and cups that were great for our kids. The bedrooms are nicely sized, and have plenty of storage. The beds were comfy, and the house was well stocked with linens and extra pillows if you wanted them. The bathrooms and showers were nice. Washer/dryer (with some detergent provided) was clutch with the constant outfit changes that kids going to the beach require. The upstairs deck offers a nice spot to watch the sunset and Sea World fireworks from. Having an always connected natural gas grill was an added bonus, so we didn't have to worry about propane while on vacation. A handful of things to be aware of: The house obviously has stairs, a lot of them, and they are all tile. It means you have great views from the rooftop deck, but if you have little ones, old ones, or any injuries, this isn't the house for you. Dedicated parking in the garage was great, along with the boogie boards, sand toys and bikes that are available for use. While the rental company warns you that the garage is tight - we underestimated how hard it was going to be to park in. I have a long car and being able to make the turn into the garage from the alley was very tricky. Also, once your car is parked in the garage, it's very narrow, and we were unable to open both sides of car doors inside. Plan to to unload people and things, then park. The available supplies in the garage were nice to have, but upon closer inspection, the chairs were torn and only 1 of 3 bikes worked. The rental company says they do not monitor/repair these things so it's not on them, but still kind of a let down. On the inside, everything is tile, which is to be expected for a beach house, but it felt like we couldn't keep our feet clean as a result. There are literally no rugs throughout the house to break things up, muffle sounds, or to give your feet a break from the hard floor. Noises definitely carry throughout. One thing that was also tricky for us to navigate was the dining arrangements - every place to sit to eat is high - bar, bar height dining table, bar height patio table. A coffee table for the sofa would have been nice to have. Laundry was great to have, but the machines are not balanced and they are loud. Fine to run loads when you are out for the day, but would not recommend running at night as they face the second bedroom. Overall the house was great and treated our family well for a week, we'd stay here again.

Another awesome stsy

This is our second stay at Dover 739. This is a great property - awesome location, easy access to the beach, boardwalk, and bay. The master bedroom is like escaping to a five star hotel! Kitchen is well equipped and washer/dryer convenient for keeping beach towels clean and dry. We've tried many places on Mission Beach over the last couple years and this is our go to spot!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It was clean and very comfortable. The new patio bar top table and chairs made it much easier to take advantage of the ocean view. We enjoyed our stay very much.
